Seeing Serena Williams get disqualified really got me thinking about this. I guess we all have this weird urge to put people on pedestals and turn them into icons.
Most of us were totally idolizing Serena... then it hit us a few days later that having a disability doesn't make someone a literal superhero who’s incapable of lying or faking things, or somehow just more emotionally advanced than the rest of us.
We’re all pretty quick to slap positive labels on people based on just one thing about them. Like, if you hear someone is gay, you probably just assume they’re this super open-minded liberal type. Just look at George W. Bush—he definitely wasn't exactly pushing liberal agendas.🙄
I once got into it on a forum with this guy who was a hardcore vegetarian Buddhist, but he was talking total nonsense about people from other faiths. Did his diet actually make him a better human being? Probably not.🤷
Have you guys ever fallen for that "positive discrimination" trap and ended up feeling let down later?

To actually have consistent views and a coherent worldview, you pretty much need two things: first, people have to actually think for themselves, and second, they have to stay objective. In my experience, 95% of people don't think for themselves at all; they just adopt whatever script their group hands them—whether it's a political party, a religious sect, or whatever. On top of that, the media manufactures public opinion, and people just swallow it whole without a second thought. Being objective is also incredibly hard for a ton of different reasons. Ever heard that phrase, "I hate Black people and racists"?
One thing I've been noticing on these forums lately. I don't want to offend anyone, but it seems pretty obvious...
I've noticed that the people who go out of their way to brag about being liberal, open-minded, or tolerant often end up being the biggest chauvinists and racists.
Like, you see women who constantly talk about fighting for gender equality, but then they turn around and defend women who commit violence against men. It's like women can never be wrong, and men are just trash who are always at fault.🙄
And what about those self-proclaimed "leftists" who make excuses for communist atrocities?
I once read an atheist saying we should basically have a holocaust for all religions. But that same person will start whining the second a church official says anything about atheists.
For example, there are tons of people who say, "No, I'm not a right-winger or a racist, I just don't like Mexicans and I don't want to see a mosque in my neighborhood."
Or someone claiming to love Jews while simultaneously backing an Iranian president who’s calling for the destruction of Israel and stuff.
I’ve been dealing with heartburn for a while now, and lately, when I lie down at night, it feels like I can’t catch my breath for a second—kind of like my throat is tightening up and blocking the air. Plus, I get these random sneezing fits after a big meal. I did a little digging on Google, and apparently, acid reflux or GERD can actually cause breathing issues. Anyone else out there dealing with something similar?😉

In some of your old posts, you were claiming Israel is just some imaginary state that needs to be wiped off the map, but now you’re suddenly playing nice and saying we should just go back to the 1967 borders so everyone can live in peace.
Maybe you've got a little amnesia going on?
So, how do you justify teaching Palestinian kids that Israel will eventually be destroyed and all the Jews thrown into the sea—basically the same mantra they were chanting back in 1948?

As an ethnic group, they belong to the Semitic lineage, but religiously they are Jews, and honestly, Zionists have gone out of their way to essentially become Jews themselves.
So, they’ve lived all over the place, but European politics—specifically in Germany, though plenty of others aren't far behind—got fed up with the greed, the manipulation, and the other schemes pulled by a certain group (who look like infants compared to Italian mobsters). Consequently, with some pretty seamless cooperation from Zionist circles, those powers made sure to minimize their influence in Europe, at least temporarily, by securing them a state in the Middle East.
And get this: where are they supposed to live? It’s just this endless, exhausting loop of playing the victim. Seriously, how much longer can this go on? Who even claims that Jews don't have the right to live in Europe? And more importantly, where is that actually happening? People live in Europe with a much higher standard of living than most elsewhere; they know exactly where the leverage is—law, medicine, and even things like diamond dealing—so they gravitate toward those fields while constantly pushing this narrative of being perpetually threatened, which is basically pure fiction. As for the Middle East, for the hundredth time, it’s blindingly obvious what they’ve done to the people who actually lived there, the ways they’ve forced them out, and how they segregate both people and territory. Setting aside Islamic fundamentalism and the global power plays mostly driven by oil, all of this is still very recent and extremely well-documented, so eventually, it’s going to have to be looked at from a different perspective. All this talk against the existence of Israel and the boogeyman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is just part of the propaganda machine. Look, I don't care if there were a hundred Israels, basic human rights still have to be respected, and this Israel violates them constantly. The level of segregation and torture inflicted on non-Jews (the indigenous population of that area for hundreds of years—hey, we’re in the 21st century!!!) would make Nazi Germany or apartheid South Africa look decent by comparison. Incredible propaganda makes this all possible. But let’s be real: no amount of propaganda, political maneuvering, or lobbying would work if the world didn't still have a massive interest in the Middle East, primarily fueled by oil (the expansion of Islam is just a convenient cover for those who aren't paying attention to the traditional power structures).
I’m asking the ladies on this forum and anyone like them to stop using this space to advertise the constant suffering or victimhood of Jews, because frankly, it doesn't exist (certainly not in Europe or the US). Meanwhile, people from the Middle East, born in various reserves and refugee camps, will always want to return to their homeland—which is natural, logical, and justified. Those who rushed to take someone else's place are the ones who'll have to deal with the fallout. The methods used by those fighting for their own land are incredibly messy and unsuccessful (mostly because they are, for the most part, uneducated and easily swayed by the interests of the educated elites), but their goal is undeniably just. Israel/Palestine, whatever you want to call it, has to be a state where Jews, Muslims, and Christians all enjoy equal rights. Right now, that sounds like a total utopia, but without it, there will never be peace there. Ever. Only then will Jews, like any other religious group, be able to live in total peace in the Middle East, just like they live anywhere else in the world today. It’s interesting how some Christians identify as Palestinians... and why wouldn't they? To avoid being oppressed in a hundred different ways by the Israeli Zionist machine, I'm sure they wouldn't mind calling themselves Israelis if their basic rights were secured first. They didn't arrive via a mass migration from Europe; they’ve been there for generations, with their own land, crops, traditions, and religious customs.
There will be no peace in the Middle East as long as the "developed world" keeps finding its own selfish interests in that region.
So, help me out here—if this is the "Apartheid" you're always talking about, how come Arabic is an official language, Arab kids go to school right alongside Jewish kids, and, weirdly enough, there are even Arabs serving in the military?
So, about a month ago I dealt with a herpes outbreak, and once it cleared up, I went in for bloodwork. My ALT levels were high. Well, I just had more blood drawn this morning—mostly because I need the results to get my prescription from my doctor—and now both my ALT and AST are flagged as elevated. Why though?😕 I feel totally fine, no viruses or anything, but I was taking Dabroston right before my period started two weeks ago. I wonder if there's a connection there?
