Charles Gomez4 said:Hey, let me know how the trade show in San Francisco was today. I'm thinking about heading there tomorrow. 🙂

So, I just walked through my front door, and honestly, it was just okay; I really went in hoping for something more impressive, and while there were plenty of vendors, nobody truly blew me away...
I did play a game of ring toss and actually snagged a gift from a local bakery—a surprise truffle ball! It was wild; they’re made of brittle and marzipan, but you have to smash them open to find ping pong balls inside—it would be such a blast for a kid's birthday party. Plus, I got lucky enough to win a gift card from $167 at a jewelry store, and let me tell you, the prizes there are top-tier. It’s definitely worth playing, especially since it’s all for charity.
If you need any specific details, just ask.

It's September 17th and apparently everyone I know is already booked up!!!!😢

Are you looking for a duo, a trio, or a full-blown band???

Nicholas Hernandez7 said:I’m honestly starting to feel a bit desperate because everything is perfectly organized except for the most crucial part—the venue.

The photographer, the band, the flowers, the church—it’s all set and just waiting on the venue selection... but I am hitting one roadblock after another.
Basically, I wasn't looking for some stuffy, traditional banquet hall. I really wanted something near the ocean or a pool, and I’m even open to a lounge or a trendy club since we're doing a wedding for about 100 people with finger foods.
I clearly haven't been smart enough about this 🤷 San Antonio is already booked up, and most hotels won't even allow weddings in September unless you use one of their "standard" ballrooms. What am I supposed to do? Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking in San Francisco and the surrounding areas for a beautiful restaurant, club, or lounge that can accommodate 100 guests.

What exactly are we talking about here??? A duo??? A trio???
If you just scroll back up to the beginning, there should be a list of bands right there waiting for you.

By the way, have you checked out Studio In
?

Nicholas Hernandez7 said:I wasn't actually thinking of standard restaurants, mainly because we are hiring a catering service, so all we really need is space.

Thanks so much regardless; I truly appreciate any suggestions! 👍

Maybe look into the Hilton, or there's that other hotel right next to it that actually has a pool, and you're right by the ocean
Rebecca Vaughn7 so, how much did you guys end up paying over at Friends
gentlepilot9 said:Hey everyone, I’m starting to map out a wedding for this coming summer with a guest list of somewhere around 80 to 90 people. We were originally looking at booking Amigos, but it turns out they don't actually handle weddings during July or August, which is a bit of a bummer.
We’ve been checking out George’s restaurant over in Philadelphia lately, and I was just wondering if anyone here has ever worked with them or maybe attended an event there? I’d love to hear your thoughts on how the food is! Thanks so much, cheers!

I actually attended a party at Diocletian once, and if I recall correctly, I wrote a post about that venue somewhere else on this forum.
Honestly, kudos to 👍👍👍👍, their service was great when I was there; we had a group of nearly 100 people and they really held their own.
Gregory Cook79 said:So, I’ve got a big birthday coming up in October, and I am on the hunt for a decent photo studio. Right now, I’m kind of feeling out Photo Adria and
Mirjana Photography, but honestly, has anyone actually worked with them? I’d love some real feedback. Also—if you guys happen to know any good studios over in Arizona, please let me know!

If you're looking in Arizona, check out Photo Omega and Photo Dino; they both have websites you can browse.
The first ones totally blew me away, and while I haven't used the others, I've seen their work online and it looks great.

silentpuma28 said:Quick question—does anyone know where I can pick up two white pigeons? I want them to be released right after the wedding ceremony in front of the church... thanks for the help! 😍

I'll check with a buddy of mine who's actually into pigeon racing and see what he says; I'll let you know once I get a quote on the price and everything else.

Paul Morales12 said:I tried searching for him on Facebook myself, but his profile is set to private—so I could only see bits and pieces from his friends list.😢

Well, if I managed to get into his profile and saw those photos, wouldn't I just send a friend request immediately? Honestly, good for her, he's clearly worth the effort.👍👍👍👍

Amy Morris70 said:Could someone please provide me with some information regarding Naperville...

There is plenty of information available right on the front page, so why not just take a moment to scroll through it?

Kate Gonzalez said:I could use some advice here...

Has any woman from Miami ordered cakes or pastries from Zenith or Viacom lately?

Personally, I think Viacom is fantastic; in the past, I've had them deliver all sorts of treats and even a wedding cake, and honestly, everyone was thrilled with how they turned out.

Kevin Jones39 said:Look, the Best Group completely split up... it's basically two separate entities now: Pulse Group and Best Group.

If anyone has any actual intel... just put it out there...
Word on the street is that Pulse Group is way better since most of the original crew jumped ship over there.

Thanks, but we figured it out pretty quickly when a friend tried calling the number we were given for that group...

Adam Bishop20 said:Since I’m definitely not hanging out in California right now... any chance someone could point me toward some good local a cappella groups?
Just a grateful girl here.....😍

The Brooklyn Harmonics👍👍👍
Could someone please slide me the contact number for the Best Buy group via DM?

wanderingbadger17 said:We dropped by the Sky Crisis today, and honestly, it wasn't much to write home about... things seemed a bit disorganized on their end...

Does anyone happen to know what the catering would run me for an entire wedding reception (excluding the venue)?

And who should I reach out to for details regarding renting the California Villa?

Does anyone have any intel on Sky Friske info?

It all really depends on what you're looking for regarding catering; your best bet is just to call a few different vendors and see how their pricing fluctuates.

wanderingbadger17 said:And I thought we were aiming for 90 to 110 guests? Maybe that's pushing it for a space like that. 🤷 🙂

It’s not too many; honestly, it’s just about perfect.
If you're worried about that crowd size, just take a look at Diocletian's Palace—it's right out there, just a short drive ahead on the right side if you're heading out of Cleveland toward Omaha. I was actually there for a party once, and I didn't feel cramped at all.👍👍👍👍

wanderingbadger17 said:My fiancée and I are looking at opening an Amigos restaurant up in Malibu... does anyone have any recent intel on that spot? We’re planning to head over there for a meeting in the next few days, so we’d like to be somewhat prepared if anyone has some fresh info. Thanks in advance...

That Las Vegas place is actually top-tier 🙏👍
The food, the service, the vibe—it’s all there, but honestly, how many people are actually walking through those doors?
