The best:

Ultramagnetic MC's
Kool Keith
Spex & Aktarvata
ZDLr
Uptown
Outkast
Hijack
Herbie Hancock
Eminem
And I could go on... I don't feel like typing more.

The worst:
50 Cent
Eminem
Nelly
DMX
Ja Rule
LL Cool J
P. Diddy...
This could go on forever... honestly, some of these guys have zero clue what they're doing.

I have to pick out the two biggest icons though... Stole and Jay-Z.
Neither of them actually know how to rap, but man, they are absolute legends... pure icons.

Peace to all the true old-school hip-hop heads out there...!!!

Outkast and those rappers—man, you've got some interesting takes! You missed a few big names, but
50 Cent was easily the best and most listened-to newcomer ever.
Eminem is the greatest, most respected, and most legendary rapper of all time.
Nelly was also an incredible newcomer.
P. Diddy is damn good; without him, half these guys wouldn't even exist.
DMX is a straight-up legend; he's the first and only guy to drop two albums in one year that both hit #1 on the charts.
P.S.
You seriously have no idea when it comes to rap and rappers!

Jedi whenever you're hungry and stick to what actually works for you. Honestly, I don't see the point in forcing yourself to eat stuff that doesn't sit right with your body in the first place...
You know, people who eat less generally live longer and stay healthier. 😉

P.S. Your diet looks fine to me, assuming your lifestyle is basically just "chair-to-computer."

It’s probably just how you're built.

So come on, tell me how much you eat and what’s actually on your plate

I'm seriously trying to put on a little weight, but nothing so extreme that I end up looking like a heavyweight linebacker. 😁 So, let's get real for a second... I’m sitting at about 130 pounds right now, which feels way too light for my age. Honestly, looking in the mirror and seeing how skinny I am is getting frustrating. Is my diet the main culprit here? How much food should I actually be eating, and how many meals a day do I need to hit to finally put on some decent mass?🙂 😲 😁 😉

I try to hold off on giving advice until I have the full picture. It’s all about getting more information—more info, more context, and just more data... 😁

How old are you, and how tall are you? Is that just how you're built?
What’s on your plate lately? How much are you actually eating, and what’s your routine like? Also, how much energy are you burning through? Any other health details or stats you want to share?

Some people are just naturally thin; they can eat whatever they want and never seem to gain any weight.

Have you ever thought about trying some physical activity to build up your muscle mass?

Maybe head over to the pharmacy and pick up some Plimycol or Canesten cream—and I think those vaginal suppositories too, though I can't recall the exact name. You should be able to grab them over the counter without a prescription. For washing, just grab some Hygiea; they carry it at CVS.

You’re totally missing the big picture here. The whole crew is hanging out over in Seattle—you just need to hop over to the social subforum, check the local meetup thread, and you'll find all the details there...

I just wanted to say, man, there is nothing quite like being up on that stage. It’s not my first time under the lights, but performing for a crowd that massive? Unbelievable. People were dancing, jumping, just losing it to whatever we were playing... it was wild. There were even people hunting me down for autographs afterward, though I honestly have no clue what that was all about... 😁

All in all, it was an incredible experience. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of more stuff like this. 🙂

Man, forget retirement... when are we actually going to 🙂 🙂 ???

Ugh

Seriously, I’m asking myself the same thing... 🙂 along with Matija. 😁 Oh, and did you hear? He actually landed a gig in some band we used to jam with back when we were rehearsing in that garage for those local rock shows... woooo!

Thanks!😁

🙂 Look, you're dealing with version 6 plus two other rogue threads, so good luck digging through it all 😲 😎 😂

Hmm, Here It says 2003, just like before. Sub Pop Records.

Yeah.

Screw Simon... that guy just talks nothing but pure nonsense.

Justin Taylor said:Man, what a bummer... let's just hope things turn around soon. Any chance you guys will be playing some shows again anytime soon?

Nope. We're actually hunkering down in the garage to write some new stuff and polish up the old tracks. Probably a little while after the new release, just to blow off some steam from all the rehearsals and everything... 🙂

I get it, Frank Howard79, I really do. It was pretty stupid to be making all those big promises before the festival even started—especially when someone important to the local scene was out there saying, "Look, we don't want people thinking this is just a celebration of Rockstar Games' anniversary or some showcase for Damria Urbana, Leta 3, Grada, and the rest. We're actually here for the demo bands. That’s the whole point of Rockstar Games..."

But honestly? Everything turned out to be the exact opposite. Still, there's no use crying about it; that's just how it goes sometimes. When you've got a certain level of fame, you feel like you can get away with almost anything. Let's just move on, though. There will be more events, more shows, and plenty more old farts to deal with, but none of that is going to stop us... 🙂

Frank Sinatra said:Give me a break... the finalists only got 15 minutes on stage... it was pathetic. If this is what Rockstar Games is all about, then those guys should have had the most time since they’re supposed to be the "future of American rock," not some preppy kids and washed-up old fossils.

I’m not even going to get too deep into what happened last night. Frank Harrigan was there, and he sees it my way. First off, we only had 10 minutes. Second, we didn't find out the details of where or how things were happening until 1 PM. Third: WHO ARE THE IDIOTS THAT GOT TO PLAY AFTER US? And who does Damir Urban think he is, claiming Agressive Snail Attack and Athu don't believe in their music or can't play, when he hasn't even listened to a single track from either band? And to say that right in front of us? Heh... I guess being famous gives you a pass. I've met plenty of great people; those guys from Greece were in the dressing room with us, absolute legends. The band Grad also deserves nothing but praise.

If any big shots happen to be reading this—though I doubt it—why don't you take a hike and then try explaining to me what Rockstar Games actually stands for? Is this a competition for demo bands or just some playground for old farts? All the bands are at one venue, and we’re shoved off to another... fuck, like we’re totally irrelevant or something. And what is up with that moron organizer? What the hell is he thinking? Good grief...

As for the show, it was good, but if the whole purpose of the event had actually been achieved, it would have been even better. It was just... "get off the stage because you played for 11 minutes" and stuff like that...

BTW, Agressive Snail Attack should have had over 90 minutes in their set; they've been around for a long time, and honestly, that was their best show yet. We've shared a garage with them for ages, I know them well, and the vibe was friendly the whole time. I'm really happy for them. As for the organizers, a massive 👎 to them, and that's that. We're a new band, and we've got maybe 45 minutes of material ready, if I'm only counting the songs we've actually rehearsed...

Cheers
