Stop obsessing over whether we have two or three megaphones or seven or eight flags. We need to stop focusing on whether the city folks are picking on a few of us versus attacking the mafia within the USSF, Jerry Jones, or the corrupt cops and politicians who basically run the whole show. Look, man, why even stress yourself out over stuff that doesn't matter? Just focus on your own crew and finding ways to support them, instead of worrying about whether these people are going to lose their minds over some shirt design.

So, here are my thoughts—everything was awesome. I caught Let 3, Gorillaz Soundsystem, and listened to a bit of General Elektriks, along with some New Order. I also checked out Mando Diao, and I was practically in the front row for Franz Ferdinand! Everything I heard was great, though I’d have to highlight Gorillaz Soundsystem; even though I'm not a massive fan and don't know all their tracks, the vibe was incredible—just a perfect way to chill out after the madness of Let 3. As for New Order, they were solid regardless of the fact that everyone there seemed like an old soul to me, and I'm definitely not an expert on their discography, but hey, I danced my heart out and had a blast. Let 3... well, what more can you say? They were amazing, as always. It was my first time hearing General Elektriks, and I have to say, they actually reminded me a tiny bit of Muse, whom I absolutely love. Mando Diao was fantastic—nothing but praise for them, those song arrangements were spot on. I loved it! Franz Ferdinand was brilliant, except for the fact that there were some pretty obnoxious people jumping around way too hard; some people actually wiped out (Seriously?! Falling down at a Franz Ferdinand show?! What is wrong with people?) so much so that some guy actually kicked his girlfriend in the kidney, and she had to go to the ER to get something for the pain. I'm really bummed I missed Gogol Bordello because I heard they were incredible, but unfortunately, I just couldn't make it 😢

Overall, the vibe was great. Of course, things could always be better, but I had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every single concert I attended or listened to. 🙂

Hey everyone.
For a few years now, I've been dealing with this weird clicking sound in my ear. Basically, if the music gets too loud, my ear starts popping or clicking. The strange part is that it seems triggered by specific frequencies. I can blast music at high volumes and be totally fine, but the second a sharp, high pitch hits, that clicking starts up.
It’s only happening in one ear; the other one feels perfectly normal.

When I first noticed this, I went to see a doctor, but they just handed me off to a nurse who flushed out my ear and sent me on my way.

I could go back in, but I feel like they’ll just try to irrigate my ear again and call it a day. 🙂

Has anyone else dealt with something like this?
Also, does anyone know a private specialist in Chicago where I could get a proper exam? I don't want someone to just poke around with an otoscope; I need a more detailed look at what's actually going on.

Any idea what a visit like that might run me?

This feels so restrictive. In India, women can get sterilized at almost any age, but here in the States, they make you wait until you're 35. Does anyone know if there's a way to pay for it privately if you don't meet the standard criteria (meaning you're under 35, have no kids, and no history of miscarriages)?
