Matthew Doyle73 said:Exactly, and honestly, we don't need to go digging up his past just to disrespect him.😛
His personal life doesn't change the fact that he gave us legendary performances and possessed one of the greatest voices in history. Who cares who he loved? His fans care about the music, and frankly, if everyone had a voice like that, nobody would be talking about their private lives anyway! At the end of the day, we listen to the songs, we don't judge the man.
soylent says: I mean, fair enough. But just for the record, our guy Freddie once threw this massive bash where every single big shot from the music industry was on the guest list. At the door, they were greeted by performers who provided a very "hands-on" welcome—specifically, oral sex tailored to whatever each guest was in the mood for. 😁[/i]
😁 😁
Man, Freddie was a total legend... 🙂 I'll give you that, though—the guy had a voice unlike anyone else.
redowl90 said:No, no, honey, you've got it all wrong... I never lie, especially not here on this forum... I mean, why would I even bother? You were the one who came at me first, and then I just fought back—don't try to play innocent now like you don't remember... Dozens of people on this board can testify that YOU are the one who starts the fights, so let's not talk nonsense, sweetie...
And I didn't get that part wrong either. I don't know why you're pointing fingers at IL now when it's just not true... Besides, I have plenty of people who could prove it easily since they've been keeping an eye on all your posts...
In case you weren't aware, people are WATCHING you on this forum...
😁 😁 😁 😁
People are watching me... sorry, I didn't realize that before, but maybe that's because I'm actually not schizophrenic
Anyway, just something to help refresh your memory 😉
redowl90 said:So, you’re actually trying to deny that you went after me in my "Why We Love Movies" thread??
And as for me calling you a bitch... Well, just take a look back at one of your own threads where you wrote something like, "...Your mother completely wrecked the US Navy..." I can't recall exactly who you were aiming that at, but I know those were your words. Honestly, based on a comment like that alone, you earned that label.
The truth is, I did call you out on the Balkanism (because, honey, you can't run from it—your whole vibe screams "I'm from the North America!!!"), but that was only AFTER you attacked me in that specific thread. Why would I be the one to start something with you? I don't go looking for fights; that's exactly the kind of behavior I try to avoid because that's what I call "Balkanism."
Oh, please... you can't even quote properly if your life depended on it!!!!
I NEVER wrote that above!!!! I think you've confused me with IL...
I'm not denying that I tore into you in that thread (and plenty of others)... but that happened after the Stealing Beauty topic... Anyway, I'm done arguing with you... either you're lying, or you just don't know anything about movies... 🙄
Vega When someone actually reaches the point of taking a life, they aren't exactly sitting there weighing the moral codes or social norms they were raised with.
Fair enough. But if you want my personal take, here it is. I honestly believe everyone is equally susceptible to committing crimes. It’s just like health—though, if you look at the data, HIV/AIDS rates are actually lowest in many Islamic nations. The USA is a global economic powerhouse on the world stage, yet when you look at what's happening domestically, the economy feels incredibly fragile. Out of the 100 million homeless people worldwide, about 10 million are right here in the States. Also, a huge number of homeless individuals end up committing crimes either before or after becoming unhoused, and they get processed through the legal system much faster because they can't even afford bail. On top of that, plenty of people living on the streets intentionally commit offenses just to land in jail; despite the abuse from other inmates, it guarantees them a roof over their heads and a consistent meal. Furthermore, a massive number of monotheists end up in mental institutions—and since we're talking about the USA, a good chunk of those are Catholics. There's also a high number of people struggling with mental health who have been to prison at least once due to some criminal misdemeanor. There's one more thing—Catholics are one of the oldest established communities in the US. A lot of them come from traditional suburban families that might lean toward criminal behavior, where religion is more of a formality than a lifestyle. 😎
DJ Khaled said:Hmm, hmm! I heard some mediocre band from Sephora is planning to cover some classic Queen hits! 😛 I can't wait to hear their take on Bohemian Rhapsody!!😲 Though honestly, they better hire a decent vocalist and maybe a couple of backup singers—say, me and Mario!!😁 😁 👍
You really know how to crack me up.😁 We might actually do it... we've got this one remix ready to go. 😁 😁
It’s inspired by Innuendo, that album I told you that you had to pick up. But it's this totally weird mashup... we start with a punk version of "I Won't Back Down," transition into the Innuendo solo, and then loop right back to that old-school bad Tom Petty vibe. Turns out, Petty is trending again! 😁
Hmm, okay! I heard some shady little band from Santa Barbara is planning to cover some classic Queen hits! 😛 I can't wait to hear their take on Bohemian Rhapsody!! 😲 Not unless they hire a better vocalist and some backup singers—maybe even me and Mauro!!😁 😁 👍
redowl90, you are lying through your teeth... just like how you suddenly developed amnesia and forgot you actually wrote that people who enjoy boring movies would love Cries and Whispers! I didn't even go after you first during the Stealing Beauty 🙄topic... that was just a debate between me, Taylor Cruz7, and Darin... but then you suddenly burst in like a maniac and started ranting about how much people from the North America like me get on your nerves (probably because I trashed a movie you haven't even seen )... and you didn't say a single word about the actual film... instead, you just went off on me with all that "lovely" stuff... Taylor Cruz7 can back me up on that . That was the first time I really clocked you... you gave off the vibe of some pretentious kid who talks a big game but says absolutely NOTHING . And thanks a ton for calling me KUCKOM 🙄
First we had The Fly, now it’s Spider... at this rate, we should probably start bracing ourselves for Ladybug 😁
Cronenberg's latest feels a bit Kafkaesque... visually, it's stunning. I can already see the Oscar buzz for Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Richardson... though honestly, I don't think Fiennes deserves it as much as M. Richardson does (even if the Academy has a thing for those kinds of roles)...
The whole plot is deeply Freudian. Ralph Fiennes plays a schizophrenic dealing with intense Oedipus complex issues... after spending 30 years in an institution, he’s finally back out in the world... much like the old man in Bergman's Wild Strawberries. In Spider, he revisits his past and watches himself as a ten-year-old, seeing his mother as both a saint and a sinner, all while harboring a deep hatred for his father (played by Gabriel Byrne)... Fiennes... he just slumps through the dark streets of the East End... spinning webs, muttering, babbling, and smelling foul 😁 coughing, talking to himself, rolling tobacco with filthy fingers, hating his father, hating his mother... just a truly miserable soul 🙄
