How to set up a dual monitor setup? in Miscellaneous ·
It doesn't really matter, unless they don't use the same plug type.
How to set up a dual monitor setup? in Miscellaneous ·
All you have to do is plug the new monitor into your PC tower, fire up the computer, and head straight to your settings. Under the display menu, you should see both Monitor 1 and Monitor 2 (the second one might look grayed out at first). Just click on that second monitor and check the box that says "Extend my desktop to this display." Boom—you’ve just doubled your screen real estate!
Male chest issues: What's going on? in Health ·
I know it’s not a huge deal, thank God, but I still really wish I could fix it... And I’m not even young anymore—I'm 24! I guess I’ll have to start hitting the gym, there's no other way...
Male chest issues: What's going on? in Health ·
Hey everyone... Sorry for starting a new thread, I just couldn't find anything similar to this already posted!

I'm struggling with my chest development... I don't know if it's just "man boobs" or what, but honestly, it’s a massive insecurity for me. I feel like I can't even take my shirt off in public without feeling super self-conscious about how it looks.😕 Maybe it doesn't look that bad to others, but it really bothers me... So, I was hoping you guys could give me some advice... Exercises, diet tips, or whatever works...

Here are some photos:

The sound quality was pretty rough at first; it only really smoothed out during the second half of the show.

Cocker spends more time talking than singing. The crowd kept trying to jump in on some tracks, but Cocker isn't really an entertainer who plays to the room—he sticks strictly to his own interpretation. It was such a bummer during "You Are So Beautiful"; the audience started singing along, but then Cocker would just stop and start spelling out some new commitment or whatever.
He sounded much better on "with a Little Help from my friends" and one song right at the very end that actually had a full, rich sound.

I'm with you there. I had the exact same experience with the sound, but I felt too awkward to bring it up because it seemed so illogical. To me, he actually sounded quieter than the backup singers at times, and honestly, they sang beautifully—they just weren't quite my style on "Up Where We Belong." I actually thought I saw him gesturing toward the crowd, almost like he was asking us to sing it softer and gentler. All in all, though, it wasn't a bad show. I'd say the crowd definitely took over during "You Are So Beautiful," even if it ended up being its own kind of thing... But man, "With a Little Help from my friends" was absolutely killer....
If I decide to send this via certified mail because it ends up being cheaper, do I need to change how I package everything, or can I just send it as a standard parcel?
Thanks!

I spend a massive amount of my day sitting at my desk, and lately, I've been feeling this stinging sensation around my anus whenever I go to the bathroom—especially if I use rougher toilet paper. I've also noticed some blood on the paper. Maybe I just irritated the skin, or maybe it's something more serious?
Thanks, everyone.

You really need to head to the doctor right away so they can refer you to a specialist. You don't want to guess how far things have progressed, since there are four different stages... It's much better to deal with this now while it's manageable rather than waiting until it gets worse and surgery becomes the only option!!😲

just head to the garage 😂

A residential zone basically means you're looking at housing rather than tourist traps or massive shopping malls. Within any residential neighborhood, you'll still find local grocery stores, video rental spots, coffee shops... pretty much whatever else pops up. Your best bet is to check in with the local zoning inspector or the city planning office to be 100% sure.

Caught a movie at the theater yesterday... it was pretty solid. Some hilarious bits in there, definitely worth checking out with a group of friends—it's the perfect movie for just hanging out and having a laugh!

Does anyone know where I can pick up some jerseys around here? I've been scouring the web, but I'm coming up empty.
thanks
Does anyone have any ideas on where I can find an album specifically for storing tickets, passes, and similar paper memorabilia? I'm looking for something with a bunch of adhesive pages—kind of like a photo album but with those clear plastic sleeves, designed specifically for preserving this type of stuff.

If you know what I mean. 😳

Honestly, I’m totally horrified by all this random advice being thrown around without any actual thought—do you guys even realize how many people have had their bowels perforated because of improper prep?!!
Sweetie, just go see a doctor and tell them everything—that's literally what they're there for! If we could cure diseases on internet forums, medical school would have been shut down years ago!
The girl is dealing with constipation, and look, there are plenty of effective meds out there, including natural options!

Look, I'll give you a pass, but you're talking such total nonsense it's unbelievable! What do you mean "perforated bowel" or "pain"? Have you actually ever had one done? A colonoscopy isn't painful; it’s just uncomfortable. If there's any pain at all, it’s just a momentary thing when they're navigating the turns. Stop scaring people with these ridiculous claims... 🙄🙄

A colonoscopy is honestly the only way to get some peace of mind!
Look, I know it’s unpleasant and most people try to dodge it, but if you actually look into the procedure (I just had mine done today), you'll see why it matters. It’s really the only definitive way to figure out what’s actually going on inside.
It’s better to just get it over with now so you have answers. You don't want to be five or ten years down the road, hitting your head against a wall wishing you'd just gone in sooner. Trust me, it happens more often than you'd think...
What to think about Rodriguez in Movies ·
cosmiclynx57 said:I think Rodriguez is a really solid director with some great movies.

My personal favorites have to be El Mariachi (1992), Desperado (1995), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), Machete (2010), and Sin City (2005).

I just picked out a few highlights, but honestly, I'm a fan of pretty much everything he makes.

He’s an awesome director. Those ones you listed are my absolute favorites too, 👍 especially Desperado 😍

I also really dig the settings in his films—that whole vibe of Mexico and Texas is great. 😎

Haha, they even ran a feature on Dadić over on PBS... though it was full of those typical journalistic blunders. For instance, they claimed biathlon is a Nordic discipline (it isn't), and they acted like the event in Oslo this year was a World Cup when it was actually the World Championships. Plus, nobody thought to mention that this wasn't even a FIS championship, but an ESF one with basically zero real competition...
Hey everyone, I found this site about selling cars—here’s the link. It also has info on making money through PTC sites, plus some useful computer tricks and software. This stuff is awesome

Brenda Williams6, let's be real—that was definitely an official championship, but it was organized by the ESF rather than the FIS. Looking at the field of competitors, that one Canadian guy is the only one who has actually beaten Edi Dadić in head-to-head matchups; otherwise, he’s been winning across the board (including at those European Youth Olympics, even if you thought his performance there was subpar).

I can wrap my head around someone throwing around a "European Champion" title if they're just trying to hunt down sponsors to secure some serious funding, but I get the feeling there’s more to this story than that...
Cross-country skiing in Other Sports ·
I think they finally cleared up the confusion 🙂
It was officially a U-18 European Championship, but it was run by the ESF—that newly formed international body—rather than the FIS... which totally explains why the field wasn't nearly as competitive as you'd expect.
So yeah, America technically has a U-18 European champion, but given how poorly it was organized, it feels a bit hollow. It’s kind of like those boxing champions from tiny island nations—last I checked, there were dozens of them.
The title "European champion" definitely sounds prestigious on paper and makes for great marketing when hunting for sponsors, but in reality, it carries very little weight. Honestly, his 19th place finish at that European Youth Olympics was arguably a much more impressive feat.
Cross-country skiing in Other Sports ·
I’m honestly not sure how much weight we should give these rankings, especially when looking at the younger age groups... I don't know the ins and outs of the cross-country skiing circuit perfectly, but in ski jumping, for instance, you rarely see Scandinavians showing up to compete internationally in those junior categories...

Don't get me wrong, the kid definitely has talent—he beats out plenty of good athletes from Central Europe during international meets—but if you look at the actual results, he’s still got a long way to go to reach the top, even within his own age bracket. For example, this year at the World Junior Championships, he placed 44th and 68th (to be fair, one of those was against younger competitors), and at the European Youth Olympics, he finished 19th, 33rd, and 35th in his division, and so on.

The only thing I can't wrap my head around is where people are getting the idea that he became a European champion. 🤷
