And honestly, it’s not $17 but 160, which is totally irrelevant here. Just because you're dropping thousands at a sportsbook doesn't mean I'm some kind of gambling addict...

Mark $2.50 (sometimes a little more, sometimes less) up to potentially $12.

Hey everyone,
I've dealt with a urethral infection twice now, and even when the bacteria clears up, I'm left with this constant redness that just won't go away. Honestly, it feels like my doctors are totally clueless, and now I'm terrified that the infection is coming back already 😢. If anyone has gone through something similar or actually knows what's going on here, please speak up—I am losing my mind over this!!!!! 😁

Thanks a million! 😁

No problem at all! 😉 I just posted that picture to give you an idea of the look I'm going for. The specific brand doesn't really matter to me. 😁 You can pick this up at any local CVS or Walgreens. Honestly, I think it’ll really help you out—it's a great way to clear those sinuses using a more natural approach. 👍 So, let me get this straight: we're talking lukewarm saltwater and then just pouring it on? 😁

Maybe this might actually help you out. I remember watching the Oprah Winfrey Show a long time ago, and they did a segment on this nasal irrigation kit. I distinctly recall them explaining how you fill the device with lukewarm saline, tilt your head just right, and pour it into one nostril—then the water flows through and flushes all that congestion and mucus out the other side. People were raving about it; it seemed to work wonders for them. Here’s a picture of that nasal rinse kit. You can usually pick one up at any local CVS or Walgreens. 😉Hope you feel better soon! 😁
What are these pills? in Health ·
Hey everyone! 🙂 I’m not really sure which sub this belongs in, so I figured I'd just start a new thread. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify these pills: image
I know it’s a long shot—honestly, it’s pretty much impossible to ID a pill just by looking at it—but maybe someone here has seen this before. The only thing I can see clearly is the imprint "ORN 17." It’s a tiny, light blue tablet, about 7 mm wide and 3 mm thick. I have a hunch they might be something for blood clots, but I'm really not sure. 😕

Peter Phillips32 said:I mean, seriously, do you actually control your own reason? Do you have any say over logic itself?
Just look at what I was getting at regarding how the brain works—specifically its capacity to ditch illusions the second it hits on a truth, no matter how much you believed those delusions before. How on earth is that an act of oppression?

You used the word "control." Either find a better way to phrase that, or you're essentially handing me an oxymoron on a silver platter.

I totally see where you're coming from, and I appreciate the reality check. I also realize I can't exactly condense eighty pages of my thoughts into just three sentences.
What I was trying to get at is this: If the brain actively shapes our reality, it’s only logical that reality should loop back and influence the brain in return. So why doesn't it happen most of the time? Usually, when the brain is hyper-focused on its own knowledge or perceptions, it completely ignores what's actually happening around it. When reality finally hits us—often in an uncomfortable or jarring way—that's when we feel the need to defend ourselves. To me, that explains human inconsistency; I truly believe the only way out of that cycle is through a conscious awareness of that very reality. I hope I haven't gone off the rails again and that my original point is coming through. Thanks again. 🙂

Who actually keeps the controllers in check?
Don't you get that control is basically just a fancy word for subordination? Control is straight-up abuse.

Whoops! So, being rational means bowing down to reason? Being logical means surrendering to logic? ... It sounds like a total power trip—denying me the freedom to be completely unrealistic while still discussing reality, or to just do whatever I want and then blame "reality" for being unfair.
Take a closer look at what I said regarding the brain—specifically its capacity to ditch illusions the second it recognizes the truth, no matter how much we clung to them before. Where exactly is the abuse in that?

goldeneagle8 said:You're sharp, and I gotta respect that,👍 props to you,🙏

but how the hell are we supposed to decide who actually has the authority to judge, and who doesn't... because everyone walks around thinking they're the one who's right... if you're convinced you've got the truth and you've got your own story playing in your head, there isn't some grand authority coming to tell you what's right or wrong... people are just way too sensitive to criticism... and frankly, everything stems from that criticism...

The only thing a human brain can truly master is reality itself, because once someone realizes the truth, they have this innate ability to shatter any illusion they previously clung to.
Does intelligence have a built-in flaw—that it’s always tethered to a specific goal?
And is it impossible for anyone to maintain a negative self-image over the long haul, simply because it would lead to a total psychological breakdown?
Are these two concepts intrinsically linked within the human psyche?
Do you see any logical fallacies in that reasoning?

Best protein powders for muscle gain? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
@ Jacob Carter6 Just wanted to jump in and correct one thing here... you shouldn't be treating a shake of whey and glucose like a standard meal. That specific combo is really meant for right after your workout. If you want to use whey as a meal replacement—like when you're stuck at the office or running between classes and can't carry a Tupperware container—mix it with some slower-digesting carbs or healthy fats instead. PWM is a perfect example of why understanding nutrient timing matters.
At the end of the day, slamming whey at a specific time isn't what determines how much mass you put on; it’s your overall diet, your training intensity, and your sheer grit. Supplements are just there to help you bridge the gaps.

Based on what you’re describing, hypnosis doesn't even exist. Or rather, sure, it exists, but it isn't anything special. I don't really know much about hypnosis myself, so I won't pretend to be an expert. What I am familiar with is usually called non-hypnotic regression, so that's the term I'm using.
The name clearly serves a purpose—it's meant to suggest that you stay fully conscious and remain in total control the whole time (though we both know how much control anyone actually has).
If what you're describing is what people call hypnosis, then I guess I could declare myself a legendary wizard and a grandmaster of hypnotism. Is there an even more spectacular title out there?
Honestly, if that's the case, then hypnosis is nothing more than a common myth.

Looks a bit like a Manchester City kit—it could actually work, provided they don't slap some trash sponsor on the front...

It’s got such a great retro feel.🙂Not tacky at all—it just works. ☕
I thought this season's gear was a total disaster; the only thing that saved us was that 110th anniversary collection.
As for sponsors, well, if they have the cash, let them roll with it. ☕ 😍

Sophia Richardson2 said:..once you drift back into consciousness, what actually remains? How does the sensation hit you? Do those images stick with you, or are they just something you have recorded on a reel to watch later?
They say the experience can be incredibly unsettling... does that mean those visions tend to haunt you throughout the day? Do you find yourself grappling with guilt or a sense of helplessness? ..or something else entirely?

The memory stays because non-hypnotic regression happens while you're fully conscious—you're awake for the whole thing. It can definitely get uncomfortable depending on the emotions you're working through. Personally, I've done sessions where I didn't even dive into the feelings; I just sat there and observed them like a bystander.

You might feel shaken up, sure, but that's just how you'd react to any intense emotional experience. Everyone processes it differently. You won't have these random visions popping up or feel like you're being "pulled" back into it.
Obviously, you'll feel emotions, but they're still just your real, present-moment feelings. I've never had any overwhelming "aftershocks" following a session.

Sophia Richardson2 said:...give me the details, please 🙂

What does the process actually look like, who is doing it effectively, and do you have any professional connections?
You mentioned that results depend on the individual and the specific practitioner... could you elaborate on that a bit more?

Basically, it starts by getting you into such a deep state of relaxation that your logical brain just shuts off—so you don't get stuck overthinking everything. From there, they guide you into regression, and what happens next really depends on what you experience. You might tap into things from your current life, or even past lives; honestly, there's no way to predict what you'll encounter.
The rest depends on the practitioner's technique. Some methods focus on immersing you directly into specific scenarios and emotions, while others are more about being an observer watching things unfold from the sidelines.

Your best bet is to just Google it. There’s a massive amount of material out there, covering all sorts of topics across different forums...
You're looking for non-hypnotic regression. Honestly, I can't even give you a solid recommendation since I don't know where you're located.
For someone who has taught many people here in the States, I'm not sure if they'd want to take on more work right now, and I haven't worked with anyone else.
If you have a specific question, just ask.

Sure, but let's skip the hypnosis. There are people out there who practice it, and honestly, some of them are actually pretty good at it.
The whole point isn't really about dwelling on past lives; it's about finding practical solutions to the problems we have right now. Pretty soon, those past lives won't even matter—they'll just be tools we use to get things done.
