Protests in Warsaw. in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Ryan Vaughn7 said:One part of my role is making sure we don't have duplicate topics on the soccer forum; if they pop up, I merge them. Closing threads when necessary and general moderation are both part of the gig. Anything else you're curious about?

Are you working for some outside agency?
Based on that answer, I'm thinking...
Because I didn't even ask you that. I asked whether your actual job is moderation (deleting threads, merging them, renaming things when needed, monitoring participants for being rude or offensive, etc.) or if your job is just steering the conversation in whatever direction you want and banning anyone who disagrees with you... and let's be honest, everyone knows "trolling" and "spamming" can be interpreted however someone wants to see them...
Can I get a straight answer? It would be nice this time.☕

Ryan Vaughn7 said:I decided to jump straight into the action and reaction. It saves us all from hunting for culprits and skips about 150 pages of filler. No one really moderates their own threads. That's my job, strictly following the forum rules.

Look, we aren't even talking about moderation... but maybe you're too young to actually grasp what's being said here?
We're talking about steering the conversation in the right direction...
I’m going to ask once more for an answer to what I already posed:
Could you not have just started your own thread instead of hijacking this one, which clearly established its own direction from the very first post?
Or is your "job" just stirring the pot and causing drama?... because managing and locking threads to oversee a conversation is a completely different thing. (Keep in mind, they aren't the same.)
....Is it really that hard to give me a straight answer?

Ryan Vaughn7 said:Action, reaction... who started it first... blah blah blah... we already read 150 pages of that nonsense during the riots at the stadium. There was absolutely no need to read it all over again in Warsaw. To make a long story short, I was the one who initiated this, and it ended exactly how it should have. It’s just part of my job as a moderator, as Taylor Gonzalez79 so eloquently put it. This thread is finally in a good place now.

So, did you actually start this thread?
Could you have just opened your own instead?
Is hijacking someone else's discussion to steer it toward your own agenda really "part of the job"?
We'll find out the answers to those questions in the upcoming chapters....
Or is there going to be more "action" coming?

Have you ever actually felt targeted or picked on just because you're a fan? Any resentment? Any issues at all because of that? Come on, don't be ridiculous.

As for the Warsaw situation, the thread was fine until a few "geniuses" showed up. They probably thought they were being witty or sarcastic, so they started copy-pasting posts from an old thread, just swapping out a few words. You call that exposing societal hypocrisy? My friend, that’s just basic trolling. I was actually the one who deleted those posts and warned them that I wouldn't tolerate that kind of thing, explaining exactly why. I wasn't listened to, so the first warnings went out. And those were my calls, not Sašov's. After that, it just turned into pure spite—people cloning threads and collectively deciding to screw over both the moderation and the discussion itself. What exactly did you think was going to happen after that?

It’s called irony... look it up...
The person getting mocked is usually the one who doesn't get what irony actually is....

And what did you think would happen after banning people from the soccer forum for no reason?....that they wouldn't start cloning accounts?

Is the author claiming there was no "brotherhood and unity" back in the day?
Or is he trying to say that kind of thing is missing from club management and certain players' mindsets today?
I don't see how any of this relates to the fans right now... unless people think they can just teleport into the picture and give this guy hell for laughing?

Michael Taylor8 said:I’ve been scrolling through these links where people are basically plotting how to clone accounts, figuring out what to say and who to target... and honestly, I don't have anything against it personally, but I just have to point out that it’s exactly this kind of stuff that got an entire massive thread—one with like 20,000 posts from three years ago on the off-topic board—wiped clean in an instant, which ended up getting a bunch of regular users banned for life. So, yeah, there's that, if you're wondering about how consistent the moderation rules actually are here.

Go ahead, start a new thread and fight for your civil liberties. This specific thread is just about sucking up to the mods, showing everyone doesn't even understand what a "troll" actually is, and disrespecting Clint's reputation.🙂

Nathan Bailey65 said:No, no, we aren't going to play those games... twisting words, ripping them out of context, and trying to assign a completely different meaning to someone else's post based on a half-baked quote.
(On an American political forum, that's strictly against the rules 😉 )

It’s pretty clearly stated right there that they're off-topic...

If you haven't lost your mind by now, you never will....

Nathan Bailey65 said:And yet, here you are, proving how mistaken you are...

Think of the forum as a place where you walk in, take a seat in the audience, step up to the podium to start a thread, and then jump into the fray.
Now, some people will stand up and voice their opinion and move on, while others will argue with you until sunrise. You can stay in your seat and keep preaching regardless of the passersby, or you can engage, or you can just ignore them and keep going...

But there is absolutely nothing okay about grabbing someone by the sleeve and stubbornly demanding an answer. That’s just spamming, trolling, and all that nonsense...

It's basically just a virtual H. Park.. 😁

This is textbook trolling...just shouting into the void regardless of the topic at hand....
I trimmed out all the fluff from your post...☕

Does the OP realize they just started a massive support group for people who aren't even in actual danger? All because some internet kids are supposedly "upset" with their virtual boss? Seriously, get a life! 🤷

This is such a textbook case of making a mountain out of a molehill. Next thing you know, we’ll be getting a detailed medical breakdown of someone's physical exam. Tactume, it's your turn—the clients are waiting 🙂

steeleagle70 said:It’d be fair if you guys didn't bring it here and just let the "regular" users deal with this part. I mean, I don't even see the politics mods hanging out here, right? I'm saying it's only fair, not saying it's against the rules or anything.

And honestly, I totally agree that moderation and those debates belong on your private board. It feels a bit off to "intrude" on this space. I know the politics mods had some issues with other mods before, but they didn't air that dirty laundry in public. It would be much better if the mods handled things with the admins privately instead of dragging it into this subforum.

Also, look, I’m not claiming the mods did this—I never said that. It’s always the users' fault anyway, right? What I’m saying is that some mods clearly knew what was coming but didn't step up in their own section. They even let some nasty personal insults fly at the admin for three whole hours while the mod was busy typing in that thread and waiting for the report.

Bottom line? The "prevention" was pretty weak.

Would it be fair if fans weren't allowed to post on threads about themselves? Like the 1.5 thread?
🙏

It's not made public, but you just "know," right? Has anyone actually mentioned pulling something out of their rear end?

Keith Cook2 said:Can I ask one thing? What does being a "fan" actually mean to you? Let me introduce myself first, then please give me an answer... By trade, I’m a professor with over 30 years under my belt, happily married, a tour guide, a soon-to-be father, working as a marketing manager, a licensed Red Cross lifeguard, an honorary member of the Society for our child, and I create educational content for elementary school students. I regularly attend football games, I consider myself a fan, and I absolutely despise the senseless destruction of city property—property that I pay for with my own taxes. If anyone tries to compare today's chaos in Warsaw or the incidents at the Maksimir stands to this, I won't even bother clapping or booing... Just stop it already; everyone is a "fan" of something—some follow football teams, some follow political parties, others follow pop stars! Please, stop creating these myths and legends; all you're doing is contributing to total media confusion and burying actual values under a mountain of fake sensationalism!

🙏😉

What do I have to do with the hooligans?... And what kind of question is "what was I doing there"?
It was the only sporting event in town that I actually decided to check out...
Purely for the tourism aspect...

Talking about exact numbers is pointless... right?...
From my perspective, it felt how it felt... overall it was fine, except for the drumming....
I wasn't expecting a packed house anyway🤷....

you guys seemed alright to me...but that drum in the arena was pretty annoying...just constant banging without any actual rhythm or anything.🤷
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Can someone please recommend a decent and professional gynecologist or
OBGYN in Savannah!

And a huge heads-up—dr. Taylor Swift is hands down the worst gynecologist in
the entire city. If you actually care about your health, stay far
away from her!
She’s unprofessional, rude, and totally vulgar. Her office is a mess, too;
there’s even a bin overflowing with used exam swabs right in the middle of the room, making it feel more like
a vet clinic than a doctor's office. She snaps at patients, doesn't listen
to anyone, fails to actually review your medical history, and performs the most
painful Pap tests imaginable.
It's awful!! The only good thing about the place is the lovely nurse.
Save yourselves while you still can!
