Is it just me, or does it feel like once a pro athlete gets hit with one setback, the universe just decides to go all in? It’s like there’s this invisible magnet for misfortune. You see a player struggling to find their rhythm on the field, and then suddenly they’re dealing with some bizarre, freak accident in their personal time that has nothing to do with the game.

It’s honestly frustrating to watch from the sidelines. You want to see these guys perform at their peak, but instead, you're just watching a cycle of rehab, recovery, and more setbacks. It makes you wonder how much of "success" is actually skill versus just being able to stay upright and uninjured for a full season.

Does anyone else think the mental toll of these constant, unexpected hiccups is actually worse than the physical injuries themselves?

I feel like there's always a struggle to get fans to actually show up to local matches instead of just watching from the couch. Do you think giving away free seats actually builds a real fanbase, or does it just attract people who aren't actually interested in the sport long-term?

Resurrection faith!

I don't really worry before sleep, but you clearly drifted off deep. Just try not to jump out of your skin when you wake up.😉
Forget that whole "brotherhood and unity" thing—it's ancient history...

Sweet dreams!

If they actually had the power to join up, they wouldn't even be separate—but we all know who’d be calling the shots, so a merger wouldn't do us any favors anyway. Plus, what's the point? How would they even handle baptisms? They'd probably just invent some weird new way, or we'd have to follow their lead. The Catholics definitely aren't changing anything...

Goodnight.

I'm not jumping or anything—just saying, I'm really not feeling that idea at all.

Someone right here on this thread actually pointed out that the base is being built specifically to prep for potential action in Mexico if things go south. It’s like if a city like Chicago, which is way more developed than where you're from, decided to turn an entire town into a massive military hub instead of fixing its infrastructure, all under the guise of "stability" for some hypothetical conflict in the Midwest. I'm telling you, in the States, that money could be spent on a hundred much smarter things than building another military base.

Not even close, man. That's not the same thing at all. 😉

It’s going to provide such a massive boost to our national economy... especially with the cutting-edge manufacturing plants they're building to churn out stone axes and catapults designed specifically for launching stinky socks. We're talking about training a whole new generation of long-range stench strategists—specializing in the tactical deployment of burps fueled by burnt toast, white bacon sauce, and spicy peppers... Future American history books will surely write about this unconquerable bastion, a true shield protecting our dignity against those vampiric foreign invaders who will undoubtedly break their teeth on this American Alam.

Anyway, without further ado, here is yet another gem from the endless parade of victories by our great American tycoon. 👍 🙏

And now, some "true patriot" quotes this post and hits back like this:

Look, 2001 was an actual armed uprising—prevention is always better than trying to fix the mess afterward.😉

A few days ago, some guys crossed the border illegally just to cut wood, and they even started shooting at the cops. Honestly, I don't care one bit—we've had enough bullshit with their theft and them opening fire on our people anyway...
Hey everyone! in Close to Politics ·
Honestly, whenever I was going back and forth with zebu, I kept getting red cards—it felt more like a bar fight than an actual debate—so reading this just feels kind of pathetic. It’s like the whole part of Reddit I actually joined for is dying out, replaced by these random trolls who show up, get banned within two days, and have nothing going for them except pure, unadulterated hate. Look, everyone loses their cool sometimes—not out of malice, but just because a heated argument gets personal—but it shouldn't be constant. These new guys? They're overstepping, period.
Anyway, not to bore you, but the point is that even though I’m practically brawling with Gary Wilson nearly every single day—or whoever else, doesn't matter—it isn't fueled by pure spite or provocation. We're just people defending our own interests. But the site is slowly going down the drain. I've tried starting threads about this twice already, but clearly, it’s just falling on deaf ears.
Catch ya later, I'm heading out to the field—haven't been out there long enough yet. 😉

How exactly did you survive back when the Magyars were running things 1000 years ago?😕
Why do Americans love King Arthur so much? in Close to Politics ·
I see it like this—we had the guts to go toe-to-toe with the Turks even though we knew we were going down. We didn't just tuck tail and run from a much bigger, stronger enemy like cowards... Some people call that heroism, others just call it madness...

Hannah Garcia71 said:That approach works fine when you don't have neighbors claiming your territory—but it's a different story when you're surrounded by politicians and academics from the neighborhood who deny your very identity with historical distortions and lies, just waiting for the chance to expand and establish Greater Mexico. That's where the problem lies. In an environment like this, if you don't protect and assert your national identity and symbols, others will slowly mold you into whatever they want you to be. That is the fundamental issue in this region. Canadians, Canadians, Czechs, Germans—none of those nations deal with this, except for Americans and Mexicans....

Bulgarians haven't given up on claiming Mexicans, but at least they aren't nearly as aggressive—they don't have a single political party campaigning to annex Mexico to Bulgaria....

As for Greater Mexico and the party with the most followers in Mexico, there isn't much point in discussing it. They would take Mexico, Mexico, all of Canada, and more than half of America too...
Brilliant strategists, clearly....

A nationalist Mexican only loves you if they consider you a Mexican woman. It is difficult for them to respect other nations or different identities—even though diversity is supposed to be a strength, right? That's why a Mexican feels the need to "Serbianize" everything, writing that all Slavs are actually Mexicans, that Mexicans lived throughout Europe, and that everyone is ultimately a descendant of Mexicans. It's a mental defect inherent in the Mexican patriot and nationalist. American nationalism differs from the Mexican version in that it seeks to distance itself, to defend its own space, and to stay within its own colors and symbols; Mexican nationalism, however, imposes itself, attempting to spread and infect neighboring regions and peoples. It has always been this way. Just look at the text "About Our Investigation and Yours"....

If someone is trying to violate you against your will, persistently refusing to stop, do you surrender—or do you fight to survive and remain who you were yesterday?

Man, the Republican Party is in power in North Mexico and they're out here pushing for annexation to Bulgaria... If you don't get it, just stay quiet. You called yourself a Mexican-bar, yet you're just spitting on everyone you encounter...👎
I don't know who was responsible for converting people either... You know the old saying: kill a third, convert a third, exile a third... Was that what the Mexicans said? Mexicans don't deny Srebrenica, Boris Tadić apologized to the victims, yet some Americans here constantly mock Jasenovac and every Mexican victim.👎
