So, Denny's blacklisted me because I missed a couple of payments back in the day. I finally settled the whole debt and gave them a call, but you know what they said? Nothing. They basically told me their hands are tied. Apparently, I’m stuck on this blacklist, which means my credit score is going to be trashed for the next three or four years. Just great, right?
Quick question: Is there any way to work things out with the credit bureaus to get my name cleared from the list?

That’s exactly it. It’s got 64GB. Anything beyond that? Just pure corruption. I already opened a dispute, so hopefully, I'll get my money back soon.

Close out all your programs first, then hop into Task Manager and sort everything by resource usage so you can see what's actually eating up your system. For me, my hard drive was absolutely going haywire even when I wasn't doing anything at all. Turns out? It was just an antivirus program acting up.

So, I grabbed this 8TB external SSD off AliExpress for like $35. My laptop sees the full capacity—well, 7.6TB if you count the overhead—but when I plug it into my TV, absolutely nothing happens. It’s just dead air.

I did some digging online and realized the issue might be the partition style. Apparently, the drive needs to be MBR instead of GPT. So, I switched it over, but now I’m stuck with a 2TB drive because I had to set the other 6TB to "unallocated" using a Partition tool. Turns out MBR can't handle anything over 2TB, right? Talk about a headache.

To make things worse, whenever I try formatting the drive to NTFS, my laptop won't even mount it. It just sits there loading forever until it eventually crashes with an error. Super frustrating!

Windows 7 is the absolute king of desktop operating systems if you ask me, but hey, that's just my two cents.

It’s totally possible that Windows 10 is just acting up on you. If nothing else works, maybe try picking up a USB Wi-Fi adapter? Also, definitely try reinstalling those network card drivers. Might just do the trick!

First off, go ahead and check the exact name of the wireless adapter in your laptop. Find the specific driver online, download it, and save it somewhere safe. You should also grab the driver for the network card too—it’s probably a Realtek, right? That’s what most people use.

Try heading over to the Control panel -> Hardware -> Device manager -> Network adapter. From there, try uninstalling the drivers for the wireless card, and honestly, just uninstall the Realtek one as well while you're at it.

Once that's done, just reinstall both of them.

This should do the trick. Just type cmd into the search bar, open up the Command Prompt, and then run ipconfig /all. Simple enough, right?
If your IPv4 address is showing up as 192.168.1.xxx (which is what you want), then you’ve definitely set a static IP. You'll just need to head into your router settings and open that port using the method I laid out above. Just a heads-up, though—make sure you aren't trying to open the wrong type? You have to be careful because there's a difference between UDP and TCP. Which one are you actually aiming for?

Once you've got that IP set up, here is how you do it:
Go to the Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> then look under the Network and Sharing Center. On the right side, click "View network computers and devices" -> right-click your router icon -> hit Properties -> go to Settings and then click Add...

Service Description: just type in whatever name you want
Name or IP address of the commp...: this is where you put that static IP (mine is 192.168.1.150, but yours will be whatever you assigned using the software)
External port and Internal port: make sure they match—just use the specific number that Tungle is asking for

Why doesn't Windows 10 have some kind of refresh option? I'm running 7 and usually just a quick system restore fixes everything for me. Isn't it basically a 99% guarantee that this is just some glitch in Windows 10 preventing you from rolling things back

I tried this exact trick about a year ago and it worked like a charm. Actually, I don't think I even needed to switch ports—I just used the same one and hit next, and it finally accepted it. You’re gonna have to pop that battery cover off and try to seat the hard drive a bit more snugly. Either the thing popped out of its slot, or it’s 100% fried. If you can feel the drive rattling around in there, maybe wedge a little piece of metal under it to act as a shim? They have a nasty habit of sliding right out of their housing like that.

Try heading over to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates. See if there's an official system update waiting for you.
