Need some advice? in Miscellaneous ·
What hollowsailor48 is getting at here—it’ll basically just help you cope with the sensation of plummeting toward the earth after your plane disintegrates at 33,000 feet. Honestly, you’d probably just drop dead from a heart attack mid-fall anyway. But hey, if you were traveling by train, boat, or car, your odds of dying are technically higher. So, who knows, right?

Yeah, no thanks.
Faucet's flipped! Help!! in Miscellaneous ·
Thomas Davis12 said:Guys, I need some help here. I've got a serious problem.
So, I was hanging out at a buddy's place the other day, and I went to turn on the kitchen faucet to grab some water—only to be met with a total shock: THE FAUCET TURNS THE WRONG WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Like, instead of turning it the way we all learned to open the water, THIS THING REVERSES IT! Would the direction actually change if you just flipped the whole faucet 180 degrees, or is this some weird specialty model from the UK or somewhere else where people apparently twist things the opposite way to get water??? It’s a standard T-shaped faucet connected to the sink. Thanks in advance.

Nope. That's a left-hand thread on the valve. You're gonna have to swap out the whole faucet.

Some guys at the club keep rambling on about how I should eventually invest in my own gear and all that nonsense. Then I take one look at the price tags for cycling equipment and—good grief—it’s a joke. You’d practically have to sell both kidneys, your liver, and your eyes just to afford some budget-friendly pedals. It’s an insanely expensive hobby.

So, I’m the new guy here. Archery is awesome, though. I really need to get my grip sorted out—my hand is basically one giant bruise at this point. I'm just messing around with a kid's bow right now, and honestly, it scares me to think what would happen if I actually had a real setup. Plus, my eyesight isn't exactly top-tier either.

What kind of person? A Crimson? Some drunk guy trying to pat you on the back?
What a total piece of work. I can't believe the way that kid talks back to people older than him—it’s honestly pathetic. Just completely lacks any sense of decency.

Crimson types can't handle it if you even think about giving them a drunken pat on the shoulder.

vividrider3 said:Basically, I'm smart and you're an idiot😉. That million figure belongs to the conscience of those you defend—the terrorists or the Shias and Sunnis who manufactured that million through their own fratricidal actions.

None of those actions would have even happened if Americans hadn't stepped in to establish some actual "order."

Linda Hughes88 said:Every single foreign policy is driven by interests, period: from the US foreign policy down to the policy of Luxembourg. So why is it that only Americans get singled out for this? Is it just because you idealized them? Honestly, there’s a certain dose of idealism in US policy that you just don't see in other places. If you dig even a little bit into American history, I already touched on some of those chapters above. Just look at the bombing of Mexico to stop a humanitarian catastrophe...
If Americans had stepped into Rwanda, they probably would've been blamed for that too, with everyone hunting for some hidden agenda. They didn't go in, even though they should have, mostly because they were still feeling the sting of that intervention in Somalia where they lost 18 soldiers. See, that's how it works—people blame them for Korea too. I'm pretty sure South Koreans see things differently, except for the ones who'd rather live in paradise under Kim Il Sung and his descendants...

They bombed Mexico to speed up the fall of Maddox and grab more influence in the region; they went into Korea to hold onto at least a slice of Southeast Asia. Obviously, the Russians act purely out of their own interests, too. For both the Americans and the Russians, nobody else matters. There aren't any ideals involved here.
What's the best mall? in Miscellaneous ·
Oh, fantastic. In ten years, we’re all just gonna be out of shape, spending our precious family time wandering through malls instead of actually living life.

John Howard8 said:The images are absolutely devastating, and what we are witnessing is truly harrowing... However, at least we can rest easy knowing that Iraq doesn't possess any nuclear weaponry, wouldn't you agree? Ultimately, no price for our national security is ever too high, provided we maintain the utmost respect for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice....

He never had them, and he certainly never planned to.

As if you could find anything better than this level of coverage anyway.
Smoking and alcoholism in Miscellaneous ·
I drink and I smoke, but strictly on the weekends. That's when I go absolutely overboard—just totally trashed—and use a pack of cigarettes basically just to numb my brain out completely.
Bomb attacks in World ·
They’re both idiots, plain and simple. Honestly, I don't think the victims care whether they got hit by an airstrike or some moron who strapped five kilos of TNT to his own chest. As far as I'm concerned, Palestinians haven't really earned a state of their own until things actually settle down. The second they were handed any kind of autonomy, Hamas and Fatah just started playing tug-of-war with each other.
Airsoft in Other Sports ·
I don't even know where to start with this one—honestly, it’s just exhausting. I feel like I'm constantly shouting into a void here, trying to make sense of things while everyone else just cruises along like nothing's wrong. It's frustrating, really. Sometimes you just have to vent before you lose your mind completely. kaže:
Look, I’m saying this once more—this isn't some kind of drill or a simulation of P and V actions. It's the real deal.Airsoft is more than just a hobby—it's a lifestyle.

I honestly don't get why you felt the need to reply to my same post twice. What was the goal there?

Gerald James73 said:Paintball is way better. These airsoft guys take the whole "war" thing way too seriously.🙂

Well, duh—they take it seriously because airsoft is literally a simulation of police and military ops. That's the whole point.
