So, CBS just announced on the news that they've reached an agreement with the Mexicans to transport them via train straight to Slavonski Brod.
Some folks over in Canada just dropped this night footage from a helicopter:
http://www.24ur.com/novice/slovenija...roco-reko.html

They’re out here trying to blame the American side, claiming we intentionally sent people into the river or whatever, but if you actually watch the footage, you can see a small group just split off and headed the wrong way on their own. I guess it's easier to point fingers than to admit someone messed up.

Some pretty wild developments lately involving certain characters who suddenly found their sense of moral superiority 🙂

Anyway, I’ve got a pretty specific question regarding this and a few other threads—is there any actual penalty for posting blatant lies? Like, is the whole point of these fabrications just to troll the discussion?

For instance:
-"Snipers on the White House walls during the protests," you run the photo through Google Images and it turns out to be a shot from 2010.
-"Russian lawmaker admits presence of Russian military in video," but three people who actually speak Russian watch fifteen minutes of a clip featuring some drunk guy mumbling, and there isn't a single trace of such a statement.
-"Russian terrorists burning Tatar books in Crimea," but it's actually a photo from a 2012 protest where schoolbooks with a "new" version of Ukrainian history were being burned.

And it goes on forever. I mean, sure, we all make mistakes sometimes, but when like 95% of a certain clown's posts are "mistakes," there's really no way that's accidental—it's just the most primitive form of trolling.

It's a cycle that just keeps repeating itself. Every weekend, a handful of old or new faces show up to troll using parallels to the Deep South, obsessively counting grains of sand while focusing heavily on Mexicans and Chetniks, stirring up a mess, and then some guy pops in here acting surprised by the chaos, asking why the thread hasn't been shut down or whatever. 🙂
It's not the first time either; I've seen this play out several times now.

A moderator? Man, what kind of circus would that even be? I mean, seriously... god, what a joke. 🙂 🙂
As for all that lying and plagiarism nonsense... I mean, we’ve got much more advanced versions of that happening right under our noses, but nobody really bothers to run out and cry about it on the right topics, I guess.

Man, I still can't get over my all-time favorite "bad" translation about those clever Russians recycling subway tokens... and honestly, that one about the fake magazine cover collage? It’s right up there. Just classic.

Look, I get it. Calling someone a mercenary or a snake... it’s gross. It's low. But honestly? I can't really blame the people who are just fed up. I mean, when you're constantly dealing with people twisting the facts until they're unrecognizable, I guess you eventually hit a breaking point where you just can't take the gaslighting anymore. Maybe it's a bit much, but I totally see where that frustration is coming from.

It's kinda funny, isn't it? A bunch of us got banned or just totally shut down on that Bloomberg thread, all because we were messing around with different little nicknames for him 🙂

Like I said before, you already know what their favorite topics are. They usually set a minimum post count just to get a foot in the door—even something small like 20 posts is enough to get you cleared to write there.

One welcome.

A second welcome.

That Mexican 😉 who can't even get his grammar right.

Just another example of "democratic truth" being massaged to fit whatever narrative's convenient, I guess?
Some guy popped in this morning and dropped a pretty solid breakdown of the situation—which is probably why those users you quoted were so eager to give him a warm welcome:

From what I can tell, he’s only made about eight posts, and none of them look like copy-pasted junk. His stuff doesn't even look familiar.

Could you maybe explain what you're actually trying to pull here by twisting the facts?

Should I just nuked the clone once they make their first claim about being one, or should I maybe let them cook for a bit until they expose themselves? 🙂

There’s honestly not much you can do against people like that. It’s pretty obvious their whole game is just spamming clones and flooding the thread before they even get hit with the next ban.
The only real way to deal with this kind of thing is having a minimum post count requirement before anyone can jump into a thread. Even a small number, like maybe a few dozen posts, would probably be enough to shut them down.

Static IPs are a nightmare here since most US providers just cycle through dynamic addresses anyway, so that's probably a lost cause. Honestly, I guess it’d be enough just to set some kind of minimum post count requirement before someone can even touch a thread.
The way things are now, it’s just pointless. Even the ignore button doesn't really work when the same handful of people just clone their entire persona every single day and pick up right where the last version left off.

goldenowl73 said:If I have to start drawing parallels, we’ll end up dragging this through historical comparisons between Mexicans and Americans, then spiraling through three pages of nonsense all the way back to the 7th century, which would just derail the whole thread.

Why so worked up? Look, if you're really going to try and draw those lines, I’d actually love to see the specific part where you claim I’m supporting anything. I'm genuinely curious about that logic.

Fresh news from the frontlines here—where this guy is some kind of clown to you and a total extremist to me—is basically whatever you want it to be. It seems like nobody can stop you from bringing up those Austrian volunteers I've never even heard of. This isn't about drawing parallels; these are actual photos of snipers in the Donbas.

Notice how I wrote "Svedan" or "Austrian" in the singular? Just like how you twisted the units into "photos of snipers." Honestly, feel free to just throw on some traditional folk gear and head down to Donetsk; I bet you'd get a starring role in their news reports and probably half this forum's attention too. You can try to relativize this or turn it into some internal debate if you want, but I think it's pretty obvious what's actually happening here.

Yeah, even a moderator can have an opinion.

Sure, as long as it stays within the rules and you don't go handing out bans to anyone with a different view at the first (even if imaginary) opportunity.

goldenowl73 said:I mean, who even said you were claiming that? You weren't talking about eating onions or smelling them... you're just dragging this whole debate over to the PZK forums.

Exactly. I’m actively avoiding any comparisons to Ex-Yugoslavia, so I have no clue why you think it's okay for me to support whatever you're talking about—just because I won't debate Mexicans on a thread about Ukraine?

The reason we're over at PZK is that every single time someone mentions Mexicans, you start dancing around the rules I laid out at the very beginning of this thread... and you're handing out red cards like crazy, even when you're probably just imagining things.

the latest field report, in a language we actually understand instead of all this Russian stuff being linked constantly, shows their take on the situation—some clown here, some other guy there... 🤷

All I see is one lone clown, nothing resembling organized units. It’s like how we saw Svedan on the Ukrainian side with his sniper fetish, or yesterday seeing an Austrian on the separatist side—I didn't hear anyone talking about Swedish or Austrian units, but sure, let's act like the Mexicans are everywhere.

But they aren't the issue here; it's the bias from the moderators who clearly aren't following the rules, so yeah, I'm asking for a review.
Ukraine VII in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Hey, mod, could you maybe drop a link to the specific post or quote where I supposedly said this comparison was okay? Because if not, I’m gonna have to call this out as some pretty blatant, disrespectful baiting that definitely deserves a ban.
If it’s not too much trouble, I’d love to see some actual evidence regarding these "Mexican militias," unless by that you just mean those three clowns over there. Honestly, I still don't see what any of this has to do with the topic at hand.

Also, I'm still waiting on the moderation team to weigh in or say something about a biased moderator.
Ukraine VII in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I don't want to start a whole new thread here, so I'm just gonna drop a comment regarding the mod—who, by the way, has already racked up a pretty decent pile of complaints from other users right in this specific topic.

The mod himself says in his opening post:

Ladies and gentlemen, you aren't gonna believe this, but this thread is about Ukraine, not about Mexico, the US, Germany, or the Baltic states and whatever else.

Stick strictly to the topic. We've been somewhat tolerant up until now, but let's not push it anymore.

Forget about throwing around terms like fascism, Nazism, Chetniks, and all that nonsense without any rhyme or reason.

Mocking the fallen or calling for war crimes will result in sanctions.

We won't be giving you any more warnings about labeling people or accusing each other of being trolls.

Thanks for listening. Go ahead and carry on.

Those are the rules, and here is today's masterpiece from our most beloved moderator:

goldenowl73 said:They look great. If only Strelkov, an old war buddy who learned the ropes with his Chetnik pals back in Canada 1992 and is now sharing his "extensive" combat experience by playing Ratko Mladić and trying to build a new Republika Srpska out of Donetsk, showed up, the picture would be complete. Maybe driftingtinker has some old military caps lying around for Mr. Strelkov 🤷 or they could sure sing something from Kusturica’s orchestra, which is apparently huge over there.

goldenowl73 said:The US Army in Afghanistan was training Afghans. I have a few buddies who served over there, and I can personally guarantee they didn't commit any crimes. ISAF, which includes our guys, operates under a UN mandate cited in Security Council resolutions 1386, 1413, 1444, 1510, 1563, 1623, 1707, 1776, 1833... and they were invited by the legitimate Afghan Government.

I honestly find it hard to believe you're actually trying to blame the US Army for crimes in Afghanistan just to justify these Chetnik types posing with guns in Donbas and claiming they're already in the thick of it.😲😲

Thanks for your attention.

Oh, please. We aren't even talking about subtle clones here; we're talking about those humanoid bots where you can smell them coming after the very first sentence, even if you're just casually scrolling through the thread.
Right after they sign up, they rush straight to the polls to cast their vote, and then they just pick up right where they left off in their last session—doing this exact same thing every single day. 🙂

But look, let's not get sidetracked; the clones are actually the smaller issue here.

Like I mentioned in that other thread, I’m getting this weird vibe that our dear moderator is being a little biased, you know? It feels like his finger is always hovering over the ban button whenever he thinks he can catch some contrarian off guard with a little penalty.

The second thing is that, if we’re being honest, most of the people here are just straight-up trolling in the Ukraine thread—like that absolute nonsense about the old ladies in Russia tonight.

Once a few of us get fed up with this kind of stupidity and walk away, the thread is basically gonna be left to that one lone genius and his dozen clones who show up every single day.🙂

BTW. Isn't it kind of strange how the only ones whining here are the pro-Russians? Not a single democrat in sight.🙂

On iOS, it keeps throwing this warning saying the old plugin is still active on the forum itself, not some issue with the local client, so there’s really nothing you can even do in the settings—not that you'd have the option anyway.

Anyway, regardless of that annoying message, everything seems to be working fine with the forum.

Just hit search, type in Reddit, run it, and then just plug in your login and password.
