Sandra Gonzalez3 said:Exactly. And look, try to actually say something meaningful instead of just dropping some mindless, half-baked sentence. It’s better to stay quiet than to post some stupid little thought just for the sake of posting something.
Anyway, catch ya later!

Don't just dump the URL by itself, just paste the whole damn link right under the quote—AND DON'T CLICK ANYTHING ELSE!
The UN Security Council has threatened sanctions against Sudan and South Sudan if the violence continues.
A unanimously passed resolution calls on both countries to continue negotiations regarding disputed issues over the next two weeks, as recent fighting has spiked fears of an all-out war breaking out, according to the BBC.
As a reminder, South Sudan gained independence last year following a secession referendum, but several territorial disputes and disagreements over how to split oil reserves remain unresolved.
The resolution, drafted by the USA, supports the African Union's border divisions. This division is intended to end the conflict and push both nations back to the negotiating table. It also calls on both sides to unconditionally withdraw their troops to their own territory and cease fire. Both parties must also provide written confirmation that they will stop fighting within the next 48 hours.
The resolution includes a section urging Sudan and South Sudan to settle their disputes through talks and reach an agreement within the next three months. If either side fails to comply with the resolution, the UN will respond with "additional measures," meaning sanctions that exclude military intervention.
The issue regarding the Bank of Ljubljana popped back up on the agenda about a month or two ago, and we'll soon need to sit down with our partners from Canada to hash it out, Vesna Pusić announced in Washington, D.C.
Even though nothing major has actually changed with this situation, they’ve kicked the can down the road again, so talks with the Canadian side are coming up. Most of our European partners pretty much think the conversation is closed and see it as a strictly bilateral matter, she noted. She also mentioned that a meeting between the prime ministers, Zoran Milanović and Janez Janša, is being organized soon, which gives them another chance to tackle the whole Bank of Ljubljana mess.
Pusić also shut down those claims that the previous administration agreed to let the Bank of Ljubljana Savings take on the succession debt. She made it crystal clear there was actually an idea—and a formal request—to bring in the Bank for International Settlements in Basel to mediate. That was requested, but the Bank of Basel shot us down, saying it's out of their jurisdiction now, Pusić said following a press conference held during European Week.
Sandra Gonzalez3 said:You see that quick reply box right under my post?
See those little icons and letters sitting above that box?
Check out that rectangular icon all the way on the right. It looks like a tiny scrap of paper with some writing on it.
You see it? If you hover your mouse over it, it says Wrap (Quote) tags around selected text.
Got any clue what that means? Let me break it down—if you want to put some text in a quote, just highlight the part you want, basically "bold" it, and then click that little icon... get it?
Then it turns out like this:sorry, but I'm an idiot because I can't figure out how to quote
Just don't tell me you don't know how to highlight or select text.
Also, when you want to drop a link, just copy the whole URL from the address bar of the page where the text is and paste it in your reply, right under the quote you made.
One more thing: read this text 100 times if you have to until it finally clicks. I am not writing these instructions again, and you're getting a strike for every single post that doesn't follow what I just laid out here.
It's unbelievable that someone with 5,200 posts doesn't know how to use a quote or a link. Just keep messing around with it until you learn, and until then, don't even think about posting anything about politics that needs a quote or a link.
Capisce?

You kept getting flagged, you were racking up warnings, and we even had a dedicated thread open just to deal with how you act on the PŽK. Despite all those empty promises you made about cleaning up your act, you just kept posting nothing but copy-pasted garbage. You had options here: either take the permanent ban for being a constant headache, or settle for a partial suspension. You got played by the refs on TV..
Daniel Ward87 said:You don't just get a partial ban for no reason on any random site. Before anyone even asks for a partial ban, the mods usually give warnings, issue strikes, or just straight-up ban people and wipe their posts if they think things are heading south. It usually happens after they've put up with someone's crap for a long, long time.
Once the request for a partial ban is actually made, the admins check out the user's history and then decide whether to pull the trigger or not.

Based on how you've been responding to those threads lately, it looks like you’re finally starting to realize where you messed up. We'll see by September if you actually get why your results have been so hit-or-miss, because that's when you'll finally get your answer. It's too early for me to give you a straight answer right now. Honestly, though, it's all on you.
