Aston looks beautiful. 🙂

Sebastian Vettel really left his mark on the team. 🙏
I honestly think a fresh start in a new car might be just what he needs to help Aston outperform their current standing—they definitely deserve a higher spot on the grid.

Red Bull is gearing up to unveil their new car soon, but according to the folks over at Red Bull, this isn't actually about the machine itself. It sounds more like a big production for the sponsors—lots of branding on the car, maybe some motivational speeches to get everyone pumped up. https://www.gpblog.com/nl/nieuws/103...moment-af.html I'll need someone to translate this article into English if you guys happen to know Dutch.
The actual car won't be fully ready until right before testing, so we likely won't see the real thing until they show up in Barcelona.
Eric Harris94 said:I was pulling for the Swedish person, but looking down from an airplane, it was obvious the refs handed the win to the Spanish people.
Everything in those last two minutes went against Spain—from that missed foul on Abel to the premature whistle in the attack, ignoring a blatant foul, and then finally awarding this ridiculous contact in the dying seconds to decide the UEFA European Championship final.
The officiating at the end was shameful.

Hats off to Ribéry. He pulled off miracles with the roster he had, but keeping Corales in until the 45th minute had nothing to do with anything; the guy only had five saves by then. It was such a questionable call, especially considering how well Vargas handled Dance just two days ago...

Oh, and that uncalled foul on Abell. What a joke. A Swedish person stands two feet in front of Abell, doesn't move an inch, and he runs right into him? Not even an offensive foul. 🤣
shadowcobra89 said:No, it was never a new possession. The possession just continues...

I'm watching the replay again. There's nothing to debate regarding the seven fouls; that’s a clear-cut call. No arguments there...

There were fouls on Canellas during both the first and second steps. Then they let him take the third shot completely uncontested. It’s an impossible call to justify—anyone who has ever stepped foot in a gym knows that.

Kaaaaj? A Swede grabs Canellas's jersey, then while Canellas is mid-air, the Swede is still pulling his shirt, and then a second Swede body-checks him mid-jump.
How is that not a foul?!
Jack Kelly5 said:That was a clean win. No dirty tactics or questionable calls this time.
Complaining about robbery just makes the victory taste even sweeter.
👋

Jesus, the Spaniards weren't playing dirty at all today. You should really rewatch the game. Honestly, both sides played a fair match.
By the way, we saw a similar situation in the first half today where a Swede reached out and grabbed a Spaniard's shooting arm. Porte got tossed with a red card for that nonsense, yet today, this guy just goes right into the hand.
For some bizarre reason, the Spaniard didn't even complain, which felt incredibly off—it was easily the most glaring oversight of the entire game. And honestly, this kind of thing carries the most weight when things come down to the wire.
shadowcobra89 said:That penalty was a gift—crystal clear. He dove straight into him on purpose. The only debatable part might have been the foul on Ali Canellas earlier, but they’ve been calling it that way all game.

Honestly, Ali Canellas barely even brushed against the Swede. If you watch the replay, it’s obvious. The Swede tried to loop around him, realized he’d lost his shooting angle, and just threw himself down.
And that call on Ali Canellas? That was a double whammy 🤣 one where he pulled the jersey, and another where he collided with the player.
shadowcobra89 said:It’s because they already had possession before that 20-second timeout...

In my view, everything was called correctly. The Spaniards didn't get away with any dirty tactics this time.

What kind of dirty tactics? Personally, I think they played a solid game today.
Is it "dirty tactics" when the ball hits Palicka in the shoulder, but he acts like it hit him in the head just to trick the refs into giving Spain a 2-minute penalty?
The refs basically handed the win to Sweden on a silver platter. That penalty was a total gift, and they completely missed that blatant foul on Canellas right before the play started.
Is Cesc Fabregas really such a disappointment? 😁
A little something to celebrate the finals, haha!
What happened in Porto wasn't meant for the red team, so please, spare me the lecture.

Thomas Davis18 said:What exactly are you looking for here? Why all this criticism toward the heavyweights?
Obviously, guys weighing 260 lbs aren't going to be dancing around the cage and trading flurries like flyweights. They physically can't, and honestly, it wouldn't be easy for them to do so. That’s precisely why the division is so captivating—one single shot can end the night. We don't watch them for high-level technical wizardry or constant movement; we watch for the impact.
You can't judge every division by the exact same yardstick.

That's a fair point. Heavyweight is just one single category, whereas the lighter weight classes have much more variety, more frequent fights, and more opportunities for matches to actually stick in your memory. HW fights happen far less often, and even the top fighters in the division today don't compete very frequently.
Does anyone have information on where I can find a list—or if I should just post it here—of who is currently out due to COVID? I assume there are a few people missing.

Raymond Anderson4 said:Hi there. I’m in my early 30s and looking for someone to grab a conversation with and get out of the house. A little about me: I love a good chat—whether I'm doing the talking or just listening to someone else's story. I'm big into sports, cycling, and long walks. I also enjoy a good movie, reading, and staying informed about what's happening in the world. Music-wise, I lean toward rock and indie. I'm always down to grab a bite or a drink, whether we're out and about or just sitting somewhere quiet. Personality-wise, I’m a pretty calm person. I value being honest and I’m not afraid to speak my mind, but I really dislike unnecessary drama, harsh language, or any kind of attitude. If this sounds like your speed, feel free to reach out. : ) Bye!

I have a lot of respect for the acting, the aesthetic, the locations, and the cinematography. I also love dialogue that actually demands your full attention. But for me, this movie just feels too slow-paced.
