Actually, what I meant to ask was about the stop button, you know, for when you need to kill a page loading mid-way.
Second thing—I can't find any option for print preview anywhere. Not sure if that even exists.
restlessdrifter12 said:The issue is that I don't see any space between the buttons. Back / Forward and the home page.
Check out my toolbar.
restlessdrifter12 said:Honestly, my only gripe is the lack of a visible refresh button. I've relied on it for years. I really hate having to manually hammer Ctrl+5 every single time.

I've been a Firefox user for a while, but I'm thinking about making the jump to Chrome. It feels noticeably faster.
The main issue is the Add-ons. How is the support for Add-ons in Chrome?
I could probably live without most of them, but I'm pretty used to Adblock Plus. Does Chrome support something similar? Or do you guys use some other separate app for blocking ads?
What's your experience been like?
Thanks!

boldwalker12 said:Heh, I uninstalled it. I tried installing that 7-zip thing, but even now—like when I'm downloading a movie—it won't save in that format. It just saves as this completely unknown type and keeps throwing "invalid file" errors at me. I tried manually picking the program to open it with, but it's the same mess. Before I had WinZip set up, my movies would just automatically save through BitTorrent; there was always that little green icon next to them. Now everything is just a total wreck🙄

Basically, it still opens most files, but whenever I download a movie, I get this error: this archive is either in unknown format or damaged. Honestly, it’s more of a headache than anything else. Should I just wipe it off my system entirely?

I installed Windows 7 and everything was smooth sailing for about ten days. Then today, everything just went sideways. When I boot up, it hangs on the welcome screen and won't budge for at least 10 minutes (I didn't stay longer than that). It boots fine if I use Safe Mode. I tried a system recovery, but no luck. After a few hard resets, it actually manages to load, but then it just reboots itself after five minutes and the whole cycle repeats. It isn't a virus, and the system isn't throwing any error messages or anything.
If anyone's dealt with this or knows a fix, please help!!!

Now, whenever I power on the PC, it just sits there staring at me with verification DMI POOL DATA... and nothing else happens. It worked fine before I tried the activation, but now it's dead. I had to reinstall the whole OS, and now I'm too afraid to even try activating it again.😠

I see another option here, and it’s called reinstalling Windows. So, please just answer the questions from my original post, instead of telling me to try installing drivers—because trust me, I've already tried "everything.".

James Morris4 said:I'm having trouble installing drivers for devices that prompt me to plug them into a USB port during the installation process. I'm guessing it's because the Windows USB drivers aren't all native.
James Morris4 said:Every once in a while, I know I need to reinstall the OS because, let's say, it "degrades" over time. I use TuneUp Utilities to regularly clean out the registry and the OS and whatnot, but nothing beats a clean install. 😁
