The second I saw the cast list, I knew I was skipping this one. Honestly, I can't decide who’s more grating—though my money is on that amateur from Bridgerton they seem hell-bent on shoving down everyone's throats lately. The trailer didn't do much for me either; it just looks dull and relies way too hard on forced "bits." As for the visual effects, they aren't exactly breathtaking, but they aren't a total disaster either—just okay.

What does that even have to do with anything? That’s exactly why we’re stuck in this mess—every time there's a heist or some shady deal, the Democrats just pivot to saying the Republicans did it more or did it too. This isn't about that specific topic, though; it's just about whether he's telling the truth or not.

Just finished watching this, and honestly? I'm pretty disappointed. The movie drags—it’s actually quite boring, especially during that first half hour. I was almost ready to turn it off. The one saving grace is Ethan Hawke; he really held his own here. Everything else felt tedious, predictable, and just plain silly. For instance—SPOILER—how did Hawke not realize the kid had ripped those window bars out? Or how he managed to smash through a thick wall right next to the fridge? And don't even get me started on the logic: in a city gripped by mass kidnappings, nobody even steps outside when the kid is screaming for help during the escape? Just flip a light switch, people! Between that, the scene with the brother getting axed, the sister leading the police to the wrong location, and the ending with Hawke’s character—where the kid somehow holds his own against a massive, buff grown man—it was all so predictable. Overall, it was a tough watch. 4/10

Wonder if those "feminists" are going to start making noise about it?...

Fun fact: This is his first real "appearance" in the Assembly in 13 months.😬

Shocking behavior: One guy shouts an insult at a Možemovac DNC-ovac from the stands, while another calls the Democratic Party "bottom of the barrel"

Is the coalition falling apart? It’s funny how this is just labeled "shocking behavior," whereas when Prkačin acted up, it was a total disgrace and stayed in the headlines for days—rightfully so. I guess Prkačin is just a bigger name than some random guy from Nemožemovac

Just finished watching—it wasn't really my genre, though. Not sure how to feel about it. On one hand, the 2.5-hour runtime didn't feel exhausting or boring at all; there were parts I actually really liked, so it was definitely watchable. On the other hand—if you asked me what it’s actually about or if I’d recommend it—I wouldn't even know where to start. Just way too many "wtf" moments. It's a pretty weird movie, but it'll probably sweep the Oscars (and honestly, it's about time—I haven't been genuinely blown away by a film in ages). 8/10

Just asking—there are plenty of idiots out there. For all I know, someone might only want it for weekends or if they're only working two days a week (I actually know a guy who used to commute from San Francisco, though it was only for a couple of days at a time).

And does he come in from Indianapolis every single day? Honestly—wasn't there plenty of capable talent out there who shouldn't have had to travel nearly as much?

Kevin Davis11 said:Honestly, if a country can't even afford to celebrate its own holidays, it might as well just pack up and shut down.

Corpus Christi used to be celebrated in every single church, and I mean every one of them, and they're all being funded by taxpayer money.

True, but remember when Thompson had that concert in a Small town in USA for Storm a few years back—which the local government also helped fund—and everyone was complaining (not necessarily you, maybe, I don't know) about wasting a struggling city's budget on stuff like that. And then recently there was all the whining (again, maybe not from you) about how there’s no money for new tires or trucks because Bandić basically drained everything dry—so how is there suddenly cash for that Mexican singer at the Food festival or for TBF? Look, I'm not against any of it, but if we're doing this, I expect a decent concert for Independence Day (haven't seen anything yet, maybe I missed it) and for Storm.

Has TT actually appointed any department heads yet, or is it just that total disaster running Culture? A bunch of job openings were posted ages ago—including that massive agency again—but I haven't seen a single person picked. At this rate, elections will roll around before he even names anyone 🤣
Binge-watched the whole series in two days—here are my thoughts:

Part 1 is the standout—a total horror classic. It leans more toward a thriller, lacking all that excessive gore found in the sequels, which is why I dig it. The acting isn't anything special (especially Gordon Ramsay and his wife), but hey, it works. 10/10

Part 2—the one where the group is trapped in a house with poison inside the walls. Really solid film; along with the first one, it's probably the best in the series. Tense and engaging, though it drags a bit toward the end. 9/10

Part 3—where they kidnap the doctor to perform surgery on Jigsaw, and meanwhile, some guy gets caught and tested to see if he’ll take revenge on those responsible for his son's death. It's an okay movie, but they stretched it way too thin—it's nearly two hours long. The doctor subplot felt exhausting; they should've cut it down. Plus, there was way too much gore that didn't even serve a purpose. Still, the ending was decent, so 7/10

Part 4—Jigsaw is basically fading out here, but he sets up traps for the Black woman from the previous film. Honestly, who thought it was a bright idea to cast two cops who look almost identical? 🤦
For the first half film, I couldn't even tell who was who. That segment was awful, and the acting was rough. The part with the Black woman was alright—somewhat interesting, and the traps were creative. 5/10

Part 5—those two cops are back at it with the banter, and man, it was unwatchable, boring, and just annoying. The only thing that saved it was Jigsaw's successor trapping a new crew in the sewers, which made it somewhat watchable. 5/10

Part 6—aside from the cop banter from last time (just with a different officer this time), we get an insurance executive going through a gauntlet of tests because he was screwing people over with their health insurance or whatever the deal is for Americans. Since I find the cop stuff grating, his part was unwatchable. Luckily, there was more focus on the insurance guy, so 6/10

Part 7—the so-called Saw 3D. We finally move past the cop jokes, but we get this guy claiming on TV that he survived Jigsaw's games ( 🤦 ), and well, he gets exactly what he deserves. The segment was terrible and hard to sit through, though there were a few good traps—like the woman trapped in the boutique window being sawed through in front of a shocked crowd who can't even grab burgers now, or the racist stuck to a car windshield. 3/10

Part 8—titled Jigsaw from 2017. This one features cops hunting for Jigsaw and a group trapped on a farm. It's actually an okay movie after a long drought; I found it interesting, even if the ending was a bit over the top. The acting is terrible and irritating, though, so 7/10

Part 9—the one with Rock. Honestly, it felt more like a Chris Rock stand-up special than a movie, and that was the only redeeming quality. The plot is terrible—boring, predictable, and just dumb. The voice and look of Jigsaw are even worse. The acting is fine, except for Rock's, which is a disaster, but at least he gave me a laugh. 3/10

I'll keep this thread going since the 10th one is coming soon 🙄

Kind of like what Ivica Račan pulled off back in 2001. 😉

Honestly, we don't need to do anything—just ignore the Canadians. If they won't let us in, who cares? We managed fine without the Schengen Area before, and we can manage now. Like Zoki says, they need this more than we do.

Yeah, I remember reading it about 10 years ago. You can find it in most public libraries in cities like New York (maybe even elsewhere too) 😉

In Murder on the Orient Express, they mention St. Louis and a riverboat.

For me, Branagh doesn't really feel like Poirot either—and don't even get me started on the mustache. 🤦

Looks like I just made myself look silly by mixing up two different movies and books. I was thinking of Orient Express, but that was the first part (not this one). 🙄🤦

Is there any mention of America? In Suchet's version, they brought up Indianapolis.

I'm skipping this movie—not that I'm the first one to say so. For me, David Suchet is the one and only Hercule Poirot. Honestly, based on the trailer, I think Branagh is going to be pretty terrible.

He wasn't the absolute best actor out there, but he was a great guy—definitely one of my favorite action heroes. My top pick isn't even Die Like a Man or Hellish Shit; it’s Sixth Sense. Also, that comedy Death Suits Her works pretty well, though the focus shifts from him over to Goldie Streep rather than him.
