Best online payment cards? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to go to set up one of those prepaid cards? Also, does anyone happen to know what the monthly service fee usually looks like for them?
How to get decent internet with a weak signal? in IT Support ·
I’m running into this exact same issue myself. I get such a terrible cell signal inside my house that I can barely get anything better than Edge. I was wondering if there’s anything that can actually be done about it, or maybe some kind of device I could pick up to help boost the signal and improve the data speeds.
If this Homebox B260 turns out to be a real solution, I’d probably pull the trigger on it right away, but I just don't want to spend money on $167 something that might end up being a total waste.
Scorpions in Music ·
I've been scrolling through this entire thread, and I honestly find it a bit surprising that nobody has brought up their massive hit alongside Still Loving You yet.

Here is the link:

Scorpions - Always Somewhere

I think I read somewhere a long time ago that the song by Laufer - buditi moj voda might have actually been inspired by this one from the Scorpions, since there seem to be some similarities between them.🤷
I wanted to ask this one more time, if anyone happens to know, because I'm feeling a bit anxious about it right now.

Every single shipment headed to the USA comes with its own tracking number (though I’m not entirely certain about how it works for other countries), but I suppose the frequency of updates just depends on how much you paid for the service. If you're using FedEx, you'll see constant movement, whereas with a standard shipment, you might only see a few milestones, like when it's received, when it leaves the US, when it arrives in the States, and finally when it hits the local post office. Usually, that's only about three or four status updates in total. With FedEx, though, they tend to log every single time the package is loaded onto a vehicle or plane.
I guess someone might have to correct me if I've got any of this wrong.
Ice Age: Continental Drift in Movies ·
I think there might be a little mix-up here; an AV connector isn't Scrat, since Scrat is actually that squirrel from the movie😁

1 - bad
2 - good
3 - excellent
4 - very close to part 3

I’d say this is a fantastic sequel and honestly one of the better animated films out there. I found Scrat to be incredibly tedious, though thankfully they added that sloth grandma, so there was plenty to laugh at. If you happened to catch those two trailers, you probably already saw about 80% of Scrat's gags. Those little creatures—I think they're called saber-toothed things? Anyway, their little flying machines are just brilliant. 😂
Why are my hands always freezing? in Health ·
Jacob Bennett6 said:Does anyone else deal with this weird sensation where one hand feels freezing while the other stays perfectly warm?
My right hand is ice cold to the touch, yet my left hand seems to be at a completely normal temperature.
Does anyone have any insight into what might be causing this kind of imbalance?

That sounds like it might be Raynaud's phenomenon, which usually involves circulation issues. If it's bothering you a lot, maybe it would be a good idea to check in with a doctor.
Iron Man 2 (2010) in Movies ·
I watched it yesterday, and I feel like they leaned a little too hard into that whole Americanized vibe. The first half was definitely stronger, in my opinion. The ending lacked a bit of imagination for me; I guess I expected something more impactful regarding Vanka's death, but it felt like he was taken out way too quickly, almost in an instant.

Steven Wilson83 said:First, I should mention that I have been a massive Iron Man enthusiast since I was quite young. Generally speaking, I am a fan of the entire Marvel cinematic lineup. I have watched everything except for the Blade trilogy and Man-Thing. My collection at home is quite extensive on DVD; my absolute favorites remain Iron Man and X-Men.

I have revisited the first Iron Man film numerous times, and in my estimation, it stands as one of the superior entries in the franchise. While I haven't sat down to watch Iron Man 2 just yet, I have spent a considerable amount of time studying the trailers, looking at stills—I currently have Whiplash set as my desktop wallpaper 😁—and reading every bit of news available. From what I can gather, the film looks exceptional, primarily due to the caliber of the cast (though I suspect you all know the lineup by heart already, haha). To put it simply, even without having seen it, I am convinced the film is excellent.

AVENGERS

I thought it might be useful to consolidate everything we have learned thus far. Specifically:
- Iron Man 1 - We see Captain America's shield resting on a table in Tony's workshop. You can view the clip here to verify: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIVeuYqjMlk

- Iron Man 1 - At the very end, following the credits, Nick Fury visits Tony at his residence and invites him to join the "Avengers."

- The Incredible Hulk - In a deleted opening scene where Bruce heads to the Arctic to hunt, we see Captain America's body and his shield encased within the shattering ice. Here is the footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBKlH...eature=related

- The Incredible Hulk - During the film, General Ross mentions to Emil Blonsky that there was a super-soldier program during World War II. That is presumably how Captain America came to be.

- The Incredible Hulk - At the conclusion of the film, Tony informs General Ross that the "team" is coming together.

- Iron Man 2 - Tony uses Captain America's shield as a makeshift support for something he is working on.

- Iron Man 2 - At the end of the movie, Agent Coulson reports to Nick Fury that they have located Thor's hammer, Mjolnir.

1. How do you imagine they will bridge the gap between high-tech worlds like Iron Man's, the raw power of the Hulk, the mythology of Thor, and the rest?
2. Is it possible we might see appearances from Spider-Man or perhaps characters from the X-Men?
3. Furthermore, how is it that Captain America's shield ended up with Tony? Shouldn't the Captain still have it in his possession?

If I have misremembered any details or if anyone has additional insights to offer, please feel free to share them. 🙂

I haven't seen this part yet; was that shown during the post-credits scene?
I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me what would be considered a normal range for Beta HCG levels in a blood test?
My period is about 20 days late, so I decided to take two different home pregnancy tests about five days apart. The first one didn't show anything at all, but then I tried that high-end Clearblue test, and it actually showed a very faint positive line.

Since then, I went in to get my beta hCG levels checked, and here is what the results came back as:

Total HCG... 0.1 IU/L

I was wondering if anyone might be able to weigh in on this—is that considered a high level, a low level, or is it just within the normal range?
The staff at the clinic where I had the blood drawn told me they aren't allowed to interpret the results for me.🤷
How to combine 2 PDF pages into 1? in Software ·
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a quick question about merging two PDF pages into one single page?
I'm thinking maybe I could do this using Adobe Acrobat Pro or perhaps ABBYY FineReader?

Basically, what I'm trying to do is take two A4 pages from a PDF and combine them into one large A3 sheet.
The issue is that the actual drawing is meant to be on an A3 layout, but since my PDF currently has them as two separate A4 pages, it’s just really difficult to view everything clearly when they're stacked one on top of the other.
Logan's Run (1976) in Movies ·
It’s been quite a while since I last sat down to watch that movie, but I find myself thinking back to one specific scene pretty often; it's that moment where Logan uses the remote control at the teleporter to pick out which women he might want to spend time with. It honestly seems like such a brilliant idea, I guess.😁
