I mean, I get it... I’m dealing with the exact same headache on my own tablet. It’s got an 8GB SD card tucked in there, but the device just refuses to acknowledge its existence when it comes to storage—it won't transfer anything to it. Honestly, I can't even snap a photo without getting an error, and trying to update a few basic apps is a total lost cause because the internal memory is basically non-existent. I’ve already purged everything I possibly could, but it doesn't matter—I still can't update a single thing or move a song or a picture over because the device itself is just full. I can't even risk a factory reset, either—I'd lose all those custom SIM card settings they programmed in for this 3G tablet-phone combo.
So, it’s a safe bet you’re hitting the same wall—just a complete lack of internal space on the device.
I’ve been doing this for years—just helping out where I can. Mostly, I just send care packages to people who are actually struggling. I'm not one for bragging about it; I just want to show others that it isn't some monumental task. It bugs me when people claim they have absolutely nothing to give while they're sitting there working—if I'm not working, I always make sure to have a little extra sugar, flour, or some small thing to pass along. Sometimes it's just buying a slider or a sandwich for someone hungry who's out there begging on the street.
A lot of people ask, "What if they're just scamming you?" Honestly, let them. That's on their soul, not yours. Every lie and every theft weighs on the person committing it, not the person giving. I don't lose sleep over it—that warm feeling you get from doing something good is what matters to me.
I've been played before. I've been conned and handed empty promises, so I know exactly how that feels. Nothing cuts deeper than being robbed or deceived by someone who actually meant something to you—someone who then has the nerve to mock you or lie to your face afterward. It hurts. But those kinds of people don't realize they're doing the most damage to themselves. They think they're winning because they have money, but they're ignoring something much more powerful and permanent... and by then, it'll be too late.
It honestly baffles me why people—and there are plenty of them here in the States—will offer to help, make a big promise, and then just never follow through. Why bother with the fake gestures? Why has our society become so full of pretenders? Don't these individuals realize they're mostly just lying to themselves? They're doing something wrong. They cause pain and disappointment to someone who actually valued them as a decent human being, only to turn out to be nothing more than a traitorous coward.
Does it really feel good to them? Do they actually find joy in flattering someone just to let them down?
Look, if you're going to tell someone you're going to help, just do it. Period. If you have the means to help someone, then help them. You never know when the tables might turn and you'll be the one in need. You might have everything today, but tomorrow could be a completely different story.
Karma catches up to everyone eventually. Everything comes back around.

I see I'm late, but what's the point? I'm late every single day anyway, so I might as well just keep sleeping... hehehe...😂
Look, girl, if you set that phone for maybe half an hour or an hour earlier—guaranteeing it—you won't be late... You don't have to ditch your morning routine, you just have to get your butt out of bed sooner...
Right now you're at college, but one day that'll turn into actual working hours—depending on where you land a job, obviously. And god forbid you end up at some factory where they make you swipe a badge at the entrance and exit, or where they watch your every move. They might give you a pass once or twice, but eventually, you'll just get a notification that you're fired... (we don't really do paper employment records anymore, so you can just walk away from the company without all that hassle—they're making life easier for us these days... hehe).
I’ve been laying low for a while—mostly because I wanted to be 100% certain I was actually in the clear before posting anything. I figured I'd wait a few months just to be sure.
The recovery really started once I leaned into prayer; honestly, the dermatitis started backing off within two or three weeks of that.
I headed down to the coast in mid-June, and by then, the only thing left was this single little patch of skin on my leg, which eventually cleared up thanks to the ocean air and salt water.
After everything I've been through over these past few months, my status is—HEALTHY. There is absolutely NOTHING left on my leg.
There’s a tiny bit of pigmentation left that’ll fade away in its own time, but it’s almost impossible to even notice now.
What’s even the point of using a blinker when you're entering a roundabout? You’ve got exactly one direction to go... you just merge in while the lane is clear, and everyone behind you already knows what you're doing. It’s a different story once you're actually exiting.
It drives me absolutely nuts when people either don't use them at all or they wait until they're already mid-turn to flick them on...
Personally, I get mine on pretty early and I'm consistent about it. I even find myself laying on the horn for the folks who don't bother—apparently, they think the driver behind them has psychic powers and can just sense exactly when and where they plan to turn.

In my immediate family circle—relatives, mostly—there are four left-handed guys. They span quite a range in age, from a 16-year-old kid up to a 64-year-old.
As far as I can tell, there isn't much to say about them. Nothing special. The oldest one? He’s pretty mediocre. Honestly, whether you're left-handed or right-handed doesn't seem to matter much in his case; he hasn't exactly conquered the world—just built a house, had three kids, and spent the rest of his time dealing with booze and health issues...
Back in middle school, there was this one left-handed girl in my class—the daughter of a local professor. Same old story, nothing out of the ordinary. She leaned a bit more toward sports, sure, but she also had a bit of a knack for stealing and lying...
Right now, the youngest of the bunch is the only one showing any real inclination toward soccer or actually focusing on his education... though even then, he isn't anything particularly special compared to the other kids...
If you ask me, intelligence and how much progress a person makes in life is just baked into who they are—it's their destiny, regardless of which hand they use.
I’ve got a question... I’m not sure if this has come up here before, but I figured I’d ask rather than go hunting for old threads...
Is there any actual chance of getting my money back through the bank—the one where the transfer went to some stranger's account—if it was all part of a scam?
I have a feeling it's a lost cause, but I'm asking anyway.
Because honestly, it’s starting to feel like I’ve been played for a fool for the first time in my life... (up until now, it’s always been small change—like someone not paying for shipping)... I’ve been buying and selling on Craigslist for about three years now... picking things up here and there, sometimes from classifieds, sometimes from forums.
And since I consider myself a very precise, honest person, I just assumed everyone else operated the same way...🙂
So, here’s the deal: this guy had an ad for weight loss tablets. I reached out, he replied, we worked out the details, and he gave me his checking account info, full name, and cell number. (Don't judge me for not insisting on cash on delivery, but I felt bad because he said he'd cover the shipping, so I thought, hey, $6.75 it isn't like $11.)
I let him know once the transfer went through, and he told me the package was on its way. Well, two days later, nothing. He says it's coming. Four days later, still nothing. (And I know perfectly well how long a standard shipment takes)... so I try messaging him privately, I try calling his cell, I send a text—but the phone has been turned off for two days straight. (I can see the message was delivered, so it's just sitting there ignored.)
We're talking about $67, which isn't exactly pocket change.
What should I do? I highly doubt that package is ever showing up. 😢
Saw those pics of your allergic reaction (might be irritation or an intolerance too, honestly), just wanted to let you know there’s plenty more of us 🙂 dealing with these sudden flare-ups... For me, I've figured out that whenever it hits my skin all at once over a huge area, it's almost always some food trigger mixed with stress, rather than something touching me from the outside. Sometimes it's even weirder—just this total, chaotic immune system meltdown where one allergen sets things off and then everything else follows suit, until even plain water or basic moisturizer triggers it.
But, yeah, the catch is it's super individual, so you're gonna have to play detective and find your own triggers. Try cutting out one food group at a time for a week—like dairy, processed meats, or anything loaded with MSG (think Doritos or beef bouillon!), walnuts, eggs, etc., etc.—then switch to a different group the next week until you actually see a shift. Oh, and while you're at it, check out the section on "Protopic cream" in this PDF

Sorry for the late reply; I'm rarely on here. I’ve gone through all the testing, and the results are perfectly normal—nobody can find a physical cause. The redness on most of my body has completely vanished, leaving only my legs; they're slightly better than before, but it's still way too much.
I've come to the conclusion that the culprit behind the rash and the redness is purely psychological—nerves, emotional distress, crying. I've been dealing with terrible tremors over the last few months, and then there are those days where I just break down into uncontrollable sobbing—I'm suffering because of a love I can't be with, and my skin reacts to it. Nothing helps... not even the anti-anxiety meds... and so the days just pass by, hoping for a better tomorrow.
As for food, I've cut out a ton of stuff; I'm on a diet now. I finally managed to start losing weight, so I'm eating practically nothing, so to speak. It's actually the perfect timing for that since I have zero appetite from the sadness, so I'm not even hungry. Regarding potential food reactions, I've tried cutting out all sorts of things, but I haven't seen any improvement.
So, my final verdict on dermatitis: stress, sadness, suffering, mental anguish... basically, anything that brings you down. I know you're supposed to push past all that and try to think positively—sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. But there's still hope that one day it will all change and this suffering will be worth it. That healing will finally arrive.
To treat the redness on my body, I used prayers from a book:
"Divine light shines upon my entire body" and "God's life flows through me, and I am grateful for the miraculous healing occurring right now."
And I often told myself: I want to be healthy, I *am* healthy!
casualridge40 said:My IgE levels are through the roof—I’m talking 711. Seriously, anyone have a clue what on earth I could be allergic to at this point?😁
You really ought to go get tested... you have to schedule an appointment ahead of time, but honestly, it’s not even painful. I’ve been through this three times now—three completely different rounds of testing—and it’s always the same drill. They take a reagent from a vial, put a single drop on the inside of your arm, and then use a tiny needle to just barely prick the skin so the stuff gets underneath. It doesn't even hurt, honestly, but you’re stuck sitting there for about 40 minutes waiting for the results. Then comes the part where they check for a reaction—if your skin starts swelling or puffing up anywhere, that’s the sign you've got an allergy to that specific thing. The nurse keeps track of the whole schedule, knowing exactly which drop corresponds to which allergen.
All they found in my case was a bunch of preservatives—honestly, it barely even touched the surface. My skin didn't even swell much. It was pretty much a total letdown.
Look, let's be real here—you’re sitting there with a reading of 711, while my results came back at a 6.06. Honestly? I'm practically a model of health compared to that. They found some tiny, insignificant thing with me, which is nothing. But with your numbers? They’re definitely going to dig up a whole list of issues. Still, you should probably go get checked out while you actually have the chance to fix things—if you let stuff like this slide, you could end up dealing with asthma down the road. It's just common sense.
Checking in after two months. Still fighting the same damn battle...🙂
Things aren't getting better—actually, they're getting worse. I’ve developed this rash all over my body now. I started taking Aerius allergy pills today, but honestly, at this point, I don't even know what's helping or what's making it worse.
I've gone through a mountain of testing and everything comes back "fine." According to the labs, I'm perfectly healthy. Yet, here I am, feeling terrible. Both my doctors and I are starting to reach the same conclusion—that this is all just stress and nerves.
Along with everything else I had checked, there was: - a kidney ultrasound - two different urine tests - blood work for Lyme disease (got the results back from the clinic today—negative) - thyroid hormone levels—all within the normal range
I also went to see a specialist in Chicago, Dr. Kaliterna, over near the downtown medical district. He gave me some compresses and recommended phototherapy, though I'm still waiting to coordinate that with him—I emailed him some new photos today...
Basically, I'm totally lost.
In these last few months, I've burned through a ton of creams, and only one actually did anything. At least back then, everything cleared up, so I'm hoping that's the right one (I got it from a lady on this forum—thanks again to her)... I managed to get the contact info and ordered two more. I just spoke with her, and she's shipping them tomorrow. They're creams from that Swiss company Just, specifically the Attiva line, and one of them is $41. I think it comes in a 100 ml tube.
If they actually work again... it would be a miracle.
I took more photos today—not just of my legs, but because the rash has spread everywhere, so you can see for yourselves...🙈
Personally, I think what I really need isn't more medicine, but psychological help combined with some bioenergy supplements... I've completely drained my reserves.
Man, I have so many photos like this with all those weird little circles...😍☕
Especially when you’re just shooting on a phone...😁
Don't sweat it—it's really nothing more than a mediocre camera. I mean, we aren't talking about high-end professional gear here, so don't expect the image quality to be anything special.
I honestly don't know what to tell you—my go-to pairs cost me at least $20 back in the day and I've been wearing them for seven years straight. They haven't even fallen apart; they've just faded a little around the edges.
Price isn't everything...☕
If there’s a local tailor nearby, maybe just drop them off and let a professional take a look to see if those jeans of yours can actually be saved.🤷
- Had my lung imaging done (seems fine, though the report mentions I didn't take a deep enough breath... haven't followed up for a checkup yet)
- Went to get my IgE levels checked—total shocker... a normal range is 0 to 122, and mine came back at 6.06. 😲 Basically, I'm practically a model of health.
- Did a nasal swab over at the local community hospital—just waiting on the results now, assuming they didn't forget to mail them out....🙂
Current status: over the last few weeks, everything on my left leg has finally receded. There are still some tiny spots left (mostly from scratching), but my right leg? Good grief, you wouldn't believe it. That redness is gone, just scars left behind now. It’ll take time for the skin to recover—it's gotten pretty thin so it hurts when touched—but the itching has stopped.... there's a bit of an itch here and there, but I'm guessing that's just from the heavy winter clothes I'm wearing now.
The weird thing is, it all started pulling back right when I began muttering under my breath: "get this sickness out of me".....
Maybe someone will find this stupid or laughable, but frankly, I don't care.... what matters to me is that the illness is actually retreating. I'm hoping it stays this way and eventually vanishes completely.
But of course, bad news travels in packs. As one problem fades, another one moves in. It has nothing to do with the dermatitis, but whenever I get excited (passionately 😍), I get this sudden, sharp pain in my pelvic area—so intense it feels like someone hit me with a hot poker. It's enough to make me nauseous, a pain that radiates through my entire head.... I feel like my skull might actually split open.... and only painkillers can touch it. Life is a joke..... I honestly don't know which misery is worse. This itching was driving me insane, but at least I could, well, khm, khm.... now, I'm terrified to even relax or let myself get excited....🙂
Anything you try to patch up is going to show—basically, it’s just going to look cheap and messy.
It’s honestly weird that yours blew out after only a month. Usually, less is more when it comes to reinforcement, and plenty of us deal with heavy friction in that exact spot where the fabric thins out and eventually splits... but not after just a few weeks.🤷
Either you got stuck with some bottom-of-the-barrel material, or you're headed for the thrift stores to hunt for deals on jeans.
You could always sew an extra layer on the inside, but if you're telling me this pair didn't even last a month, those holes are just going to start showing through the outside anyway.
I've sewn just about everything under the sun, so I know how this goes.
