stormyrider28 said:So, why don't you tell us how you magically know who's sending what in private messages? A little slip-up there, wasn't it?

If I’m following this correctly, apparently sending DMs is some kind of cardinal sin in a civilized society now? 😁 I’m just wondering—how on earth does he know what we're saying to each other in private? 🤔>

Exotericon isn't one of us—Exotericon is just you, Monty. You finally realized we aren't falling for the same trap twice, so since you won't represent the opposition for us, you decided to play both sides. Now you’re basically spending the last few pages of this thread arguing with yourself.

My advice? Stop embarrassing yourself. We all see right through you.

stormyrider28 said:Only Brenda Gonzalez12, Linda Moore51, and biljka112 talk like this. They’re the only ones constantly picking on Elizabeth Jackson, Robert, and Bonecrusher, plus a few others from the alternative crowd. Most people on this forum give up on an argument pretty fast, but not those three. It's always the same story: they’ll fight tooth and nail just to get the last word, they all target the exact same people, and they twist everything anyone says to make it look different. I guess it's my turn to get targeted now, but whatever—this is the truth, and I've seen it playing out every single day since I joined.
And regarding Monty asking if we should check for clones? Who cares. People like that probably post from multiple devices anyway, and even I know enough to realize you can swap IP addresses. But there’s no hiding the stuff I just listed; it's as obvious as day.

Congrats, Mr. Stormyrider! You just won a million bucks!!! 🎉 🎉 🎉

Nicole Johnson20 said:Man, you read so much garbage online. It’s hilarious—it’s not even about the guy being a total pushover, it's about the fact that she actually bothered to respond to his nonsense. Like, what was she even supposed to say? Honestly, if someone hit me with that level of weakness, I’d just be standing there speechless and completely stunned.
Look, I’m not exactly a fan of how those fringe types went out of their way to start trouble—and honestly, the fact that they're actually bragging about successfully baiting people just makes it even worse.

Lena, honey, I’m honestly speechless. Not even shocked—just done. Here’s the thing: it’s not the insults that get under my skin; it’s the lies. Pure, unadulterated LIES. You twist people's words, play the hero acting like you’re here to "heal" everyone, and pretend you’re just offering some well-meaning advice when really you're just looking for a fight and trying to talk down to us. That’s exactly why I brought up slander. Slander isn't just about an insult or a difference of opinion; it’s about making flat-out false claims. And no, I wasn't threatening a lawsuit (another lie), I was simply pointing out that what happened is actually a crime. I poked him a little bit to see if his pants were shaking—you know, giving him a taste of his own medicine since he loves nothing more than pointing fingers at everyone else's legal troubles. Mentioning slander was a total bullseye, and I knew it would hit home. The best proof that he was actually terrified? He started hallucinating things that weren't there—like claiming I was "sexually aroused" at the time. But hey, they say fear makes your eyes grow big, right? 😉

Look, I wasn't even the one who brought up that post in the first place. stormyrider28 was the one who mentioned it, and I only jumped in to stick up for him because the whole thing got nuked. Since the post was deleted, you can't even quote the full thing to prove anything. I was defending him, not myself. Period.

Look, since it’s pretty obvious you haven't been paying close attention to the story, let me catch you up on the highlights.

Alright, here’s a little something for all you "expert advisors" out there. foruma.hrJust got back from the funeral of that 53-year-old lady who used to post on this thread. Honestly, it’s heavy. Cheers to following advice... or not. Honestly, I’ve learned the hard way that half the "expert" tips floating around online are absolute garbage. I once tried this "life hack" I saw on a forum about organizing my home office—total waste of an afternoon. Ended up with more clutter than when I started. Save yourself the headache: take what works, toss the rest. So, you actually tried going raw?

Tu je i čitav post:

So, this controversial forum user is basically making it crystal clear that the late lady actually lived her life by the very advice she was handing out. Just some alternative types from an online forum—basically, I’m in my element here.Get what I'm saying? He wasn't even talking about this forum, even though those guys are totally part of the alternative scene too. http://www.alternativa-forum.com/.

Then he was asked this:
So, what does someone actually mean when they say they’ve "gone raw"? It’s not just about skipping the microwave; it’s a whole lifestyle thing. Basically, you’re eating foods in their most natural state—no processing, no heavy cooking, nothing that messes with the enzymes. We're talking fresh produce, nuts, seeds, and maybe some soaked grains. It sounds intense, right? I tried it for a week back in Austin once, and let's just say my digestive system had a few... interesting conversations with me. But hey, people swear by the energy boost.
My sister claims she’s "raw foodist," but let’s be real—she eats maybe one banana a week and tosses some salad on the side of her actual cooked meals. That’s about it. That's her entire "raw" diet.
And then there's her—on that raw food diet too.
And that’s been going on for nearly 30 years now.
So, what are we talking here? What kind of percentage was this person actually eating raw compared to everything else?
If you had that info all along, why the hell didn't you just say so?

He basically put it like this:
If you're looking for an analysis, he's talking about raw fish, grains, milk, plus fruits and veggies.

There you go. According to him, those are just "tips from the local health nuts."

So let me ask you something: if someone scrolls through this forum and completely misinterprets our advice, whose fault is that? Is it on the person giving the tips, or the person who barely even glanced at them before jumping in? If a doctor prescribes a regimen and the patient gets lazy and takes Pill A in the morning instead of Pill B at night, who messed up? The doctor, or the patient who isn't following instructions?

Maybe we could let the users pick the mods through a public vote—sort of like a democratic election.
Basically, people who actually want to moderate a specific sub-forum or section step forward voluntarily, and then everyone else votes on the candidates.
That way, you get free labor chosen by the community itself.

Solid idea. Honestly, it would be way fairer, more logical, and—not to mention—way EASIER than the current setup where the existing mods just hand-pick their successors. It cuts out the bias and speeds up the whole process.

Anyway, if this proposal actually gains traction, you've got my support.

I’m sure Nica and Christian Howard2 will give this some thought too. It’d make their lives a hell of a lot easier if we finally stopped burying them under this mountain of complaints and grievances—which, let's be real, isn't going to stop until the moderation situation gets sorted out. 🤷

So, I just got flagged for a post where I called out a specific thread about cancer treatment. In that one, Brenda Gonzalez12 was being super gross, basically implying I was getting turned on—then telling me he wasn't going to help me with that and that I should just head over to the Mayo Clinic instead. Now that post is gone, and Brenda Gonzalez12 is acting all smug, claiming it never even happened and laughing at us because we can't link to it since it’s been deleted.

Can someone please explain exactly which rule I broke here? You mods can still see everything in the backend, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out who's lying and who's telling the truth. Just to make your lives easier, the post went up late in the evening on September 23, 2018, maybe early on the 24th. Anyway, hope that helps you track it down. I know you guys are swamped trying to keep this place from turning into a total dumpster fire, so I get that mistakes happen. It happens to the best of us. 👍

Cheers and take care

bluemason3 said:Well, he's her father-in-law, old news. How did you not know? 🤔

Even Siamese twins would be too much.

Check out the cancer treatment thread over in the Alternative Medicine section—it was locked recently. You'll see he was actually the one who started pointing fingers at us, claiming we were responsible for his neighbor's death just because she read this forum and was naive enough to trust us instead of getting life-saving chemo. His post was the FIRST one, so yeah, he's the one who kicked this off. Of course, he’ll try to play dumb and say he didn't explicitly name anyone, but if that were true, why didn't he reach out to those of us replying to him to clarify he wasn't talking about us?

When I called out a few specific forum members by name, I was just responding to his claim that there aren't really any "alternative" people, but that it's some sort of broad, vague concept. Sure it is, which is exactly why I pointed out he wasn't addressing "all possible alternative enthusiasts," but specifically us right here on this forum, so I just listed the first few names that popped into my head. But typical—he latches onto some tiny, irrelevant detail and keeps harping on it, even though the context makes it crystal clear. He's just playing the victim.

He's accusing us of suggesting she eat certain ways, which is a total lie. He actually admitted later that she was eating milk, fish, and grains. He looked genuinely shocked when I told him that isn't even part of what we recommend. It's straight-up slander; the guy clearly didn't do any homework before he started typing.

The funniest part? That user milivanily—or is it milyvanili? Whatever—the one pretending to have metastatic breast cancer, ended up recommending that exact same diet later on! The very thing he was blaming us for in the beginning! Can you believe that?

Now he's shamelessly lying about not insulting me, but whatever, let him live with his conscience. 😉

Honestly, you’re the one breaking every rule in the book—we all saw how you were verbally trashing people in the cancer treatment thread, especially Elizabeth Jackson. Calling people morons, idiots, wimps, losers... it was gross. And you actually sent Naja Naja some incredibly inappropriate, disgusting messages. Don't you feel even a little bit embarrassed? You only show up to these threads to pick fights and troll. You're the definition of off-topic, and I've never seen anyone be as toxic as you on this forum. That's literally why they had to shut down the cancer treatment thread—because of your mouth. No wonder everyone just ignores you.

The thing is, whatever he said to me got wiped, so now he’s going to play dumb and act like I’m making stuff up. But I am one hundred percent certain he remembers. If he can remember some random post from two years ago about water sounds in a radiator from some obscure thread, he definitely remembers this. I'm just pissed I didn't grab a screenshot.
Basically, Nice deleted it, along with a massive chunk of other posts—probably like seven pages worth—but she didn't give him a single warning, let alone a permanent ban which he absolutely earned. It’s painfully obvious she’s protecting him. I don't know what their private deal is, but he clearly has her in his corner.

I'm dying to know: if someone talked to her like that, would she actually let them get away with it?

I’m with the OP on this one. That Alternative Medicine subforum has been flying without a moderator for ages, and every single polite request we’ve sent up the ladder gets met with total silence. Seriously, what gives? Give us an answer.
The last time someone brought this up on PŽK, they shut the thread down in like two or three days—and then they did the exact same thing to the main Cancer Treatment thread right after. Look, if we "alternative" types and our take on health are just unwelcome in the Alternative Medicine section, then stop playing games. Just say it loud and clear and rename the whole damn thing "Criticism of Alternative Medicine." At this point, the bias is getting ridiculous and way too obvious.
Glad this thread finally opened up, but honestly? So far, instead of actually fixing anything, we’ve just moved the mess from one corner to another. Now we’re stuck with two identical, headache-inducing threads instead of one. Don't get me wrong—I'm not pointing fingers at you, Justin Gray81.

I’m only going to chime in on this because I see some of you have turned alternative medicine into a straight-up fetish.

Look, if we’re talking about legal issues here, the blame lands squarely on whoever actually set this whole platform up in the first place. It’s not rocket science—right under the PDF titles, it explicitly states that everything listed falls under alternative medicine. Short and sweet. So, if anyone thinks there's actual criminal activity going on here, save your breath and take it up with the forum owner.

Look, here’s the deal: the law doesn't actually specify the exact method being used. So, if you've got a doctor prescribing some kind of alternative medicine, and then some random "Person A" steps in to tell the patient to ditch that and go straight for chemo instead? Yeah, that’s technically practicing medicine without a license too. It's pretty simple once you get it. All those guys on here preaching about conventional treatments—if they don't actually have the medical degrees to back it up, they're basically just playing doctor.

Thirdly—and this part is huge. For those who aren't legal buffs, just committing an act isn't enough to make it a crime. You don't just need the action and the illegality; you actually need "guilt" or criminal intent. So, let's look at whether guilt even exists here. Think of it like this: if someone tries to take you out and you defend yourself, you aren't going to jail for murder. That’s self-defense, plain and simple. No guilt, no crime.

First off, take a look at the subheader under that "Health" PDF file. It claims health is "the most important thing in the world." Honestly? Hard to argue with that. We can all agree on one thing: it’s the absolute priority. At the end of the day, regardless of whether you have a PhD or zero medical training, you’re a biological being. You want the best possible health for yourself and your family, and you’re going to do whatever it takes to get there. Period.

Now, let’s talk about cancer—you know, that disease everyone's fighting over in this heated debate. Look, you gotta consider the fact that people label this a "heavy" disease. Seriously, ask yourself why it even gets that reputation. Is it because it’s an easy fix? Or is it because the success rate for actual recovery is basically a tiny fraction of people? I think I'm making myself pretty clear here. If people were actually bouncing back after chemo, nobody would even bother calling cancer such a heavy diagnosis. It’s simple logic. Look at a crooked tooth—nobody calls that a major physical deformity, right? That’s because modern dentistry actually fixes the problem. We just don't see that kind of success rate with malignant diseases. If anyone has an issue with me calling it like I see it, honestly, that’s their problem, not mine.

Alright, let's get to the meat of the matter. Looking at everything that’s been said here, I honestly don't see anything wrong with people trying to find an alternative medicine approach. If you can find something that actually works better than the standard stuff—not just treating the illness, but actually preventing it in the first place—why wouldn't you? Especially when you realize the doctors themselves aren't exactly hitting home runs every single time. They’re out here acting like they’ve got a crystal ball, making all these life expectancy predictions like they’re some kind of fortune tellers. People finally realize they’ve got nothing left to lose. Look, some people just refuse to get it. Nobody decides to mess around with alternative medicine out of pure boredom or because they skimmed some random article on CNN. They aren't going to risk their own lives—or anyone else's—just because they felt like being difficult one day. It’s not that simple. If only people realized how much standard medicine actually pulls through sometimes!

I don't see any evidence of wrongdoing here, let alone an actual crime.

briskstag26 said:Look, I didn't say they become less important; I said you have to learn how to balance a relationship with your friends.

We’re coming at this from two different angles here. You're looking at it from the perspective where your friend "ditched" you for her boyfriend. I'm looking at it from the side where the guy was still acting like he was single even when he was with his buddies. Get it? We're coming from two total extremes. And thank God there's actually a middle ground out there somewhere.🙂

Can you walk me through that a bit more?
Why do people get so weird once they're in a relationship? in Psychology & Therapy ·
briskstag26 said:No, what I'm saying is that a friend can't be equally vital before and during a relationship. Any actual friend should get that. Look, a day is still just 24 hours, and you've got this new person in your life—someone you might eventually build an entire family with. Honestly, comparing the importance of a friend to a partner is apples and oranges; they both matter, just in different ways. You just have to learn how to "handle" it when, say, both your partner and your buddy want to hang out on a Friday night.
If you actually give a shit about a friend, obviously you're going to try to keep them part of your life.

I wouldn't call it a contradiction, based on what I said earlier. Just because you aren't as available to a buddy as you used to be because you're busy with a girlfriend or boyfriend doesn't mean that friend should act like a spoiled brat about it.

From where I’m sitting, you’re just repeating yourself, insisting it's totally fine for a friend to take a backseat. Fine, speak for yourself. I don't think it's normal. And let’s be clear, I’m talking about actual friends here, not just some random acquaintances. I mean, when you pick a bridesmaid for your wedding, you call a best friend, right? You don't call your sister-in-law or your mother-in-law. 🙄

And it isn't even about how much time you spend together. I don't give a damn if she wants to spend Saturday night with him instead of me; that's not being "blown off." For me, being blown off is something much more subtle. You just feel it—you either matter to someone or you don't. There's no middle ground, no sliding scale. It's binary.

But women tend to be like this. They’ll say, "Of course the guy I might have kids with is more important than grabbing coffee with a buddy," while guys are like, "I'm not ditching my best friend for some girl." Men actually stay close and stick together.
So much for feminism, honestly—when it's the women themselves who don't value their own gender, acting like they aren't complete until they have a man by their side, at which point their female friends suddenly don't matter anymore.

Then there's the other possibility: your friend ditches *you* for a new crowd. That happened to me too. It was back when we were kids, done by the exact same "bestie" who ended up blowing me off for a boyfriend once we hit adulthood.😁 She doesn't talk to anyone from our old group and nobody invites her to high school reunions; she just completely ghosted everyone. Looking back, I realized it wasn't the first time she'd bailed on me, and honestly, it hit way harder when we were little.

briskstag26 said:Look, once you get into a serious relationship, your priorities shift—that’s just how life works. It should be totally normal to find that sweet spot between being a couple and still making sure you don't lose yourself in the process. But if a buddy suddenly ghosts you the second they get a girlfriend, let's be real: you were never actually on their radar to begin with.

So, you're saying it's totally fine for a partner to suddenly become more important than your friends? Is that what you mean by "priorities shifting"? Because if that's the case, then the people who ditch you the moment they start dating are actually being more honest than the ones who keep hanging out with you while clearly not giving a damn anymore.
Plus, your last sentence completely contradicts your first one. If priorities change, it implies you *were* important to them before, but now you aren't, so they ditched you. But then you say they never cared in the first place... make up your mind.

Meat has nothing to do with it; I wasn't eating any back then, and I still don't.

Maybe that was the issue. I guess you replaced it with something else now, but maybe if you had been eating properly from the start, you wouldn't have had those struggles.

That stuff about his profession is just rumors, but, looking at how he moderates, it's pretty easy to see they might be true.

I just really hope you all realize that tightening up the moderation on the Alternative side is going to make it impossible to voice so many of the claims you're all making so easily right now, usually while tossing a snarky comment toward conventional medicine and natural science.

Exactly. Cutting out meat was the culprit, and since I swapped it for tons of fresh fruit and veggies, all my problems vanished! 👍 🙏:

bluemason3 said:But how do you actually know it was specifically raw food that did the trick?

Take my own example—a gallstone (1cm) that just vanished. If I were more inclined toward modern medicine, I might subjectively claim the cause was long-term use of Ursofalk*. If I leaned toward Alternative options, I’d look for the cause in Ayurvedic medicine I picked up while traveling through India, or maybe some lifestyle changes—in both cases, dietary shifts...

In reality, it might have just been luck and I'll never know (maybe it would have disappeared regardless, or maybe there's some fifth factor I'm totally missing...). I’d just be looking for a way to confirm my own biases. That’s why scientific studies exist; anecdotal "evidence" can't compete because it lacks controlled conditions and large enough statistical samples processed with proper methodology. There are simply too many variables and subjective interpretations to make such bold claims with certainty.

Given how hard they try to stay stuck in their ways, despite having zero knowledge or interest in Alternative medicine—and being an outright opponent of it, no less—it wouldn't surprise me if certain shady entities are playing a role in all of this. ☕

That's about it 🤣

* A true believer in Alternative paths would probably give Ursofalk a better shot if it were in its older, unisolated/non-synthetic form, like the bear bile used in TCM 😬 Or if at least a legitimate TCM supplement company had formulated the isolate and put something like LaoTzea on the bottle 😳
Because Big Pharma isn't quite sophisticated enough to poison us to death using bear bile trapped in micro-cages that even a six-year-old couldn't get out of 😳

.... bat, let me digress....

Maybe because it’s the only lasting (and I mean *lasting*) change I made to my lifestyle back then? I mean, what else could have caused such an improvement besides what I was eating?
