Hey, stop spreading misinformation. I can easily pull up statements from both my JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America cards if you want proof.
How to look natural? in Miscellaneous ·
Yeah, alright. Long story short, how do I actually pull this off? 😁

I’m talking about practical effects—making bruises, scrapes, and stuff like that look right. It doesn't need to be some high-budget Hollywood masterpiece, just something believable.

And please, skip the jokes like "just go get jumped in Times Square" or whatever. I'm looking for actual advice, not sarcasm. 🤣

(By the way, I honestly wasn't sure which subcategory this belonged in 🤣).

I’m talking about this specific situation right now—the first time this flared up, I didn't even bother seeing a doctor because I just chalked it up to a minor breakout or some stubborn acne. And honestly, the "urgency" factor isn't even my call to make; the receptionist at the clinic just looked right through me and told me they couldn't get me an appointment until mid-February, regardless of whether I'm standing there in agony or feeling fine.

Oh, sure, because that obviously never crossed my mind. But here’s the kicker: my doctor actually wrote it on my referral as acne conglobata—even though what I’m dealing with looks completely different and hurts about five times as much—and now I’m stuck waiting over a month and a half just to see a dermatologist. So, until then, I guess I just sit around and wait 😕

Alright, maybe I shouldn't have posted those photos if they gave you all such a massive heart attack 😁

Basically, about ten months ago, I started noticing that what I always dismissed as just a pimple or two on my leg (sometimes on my glutes, mostly on the lower leg) had spiraled out of control and taken over a huge chunk of the area. To be honest, I’m not even sure if we’re talking about pimples, acne, or something else entirely, because I don't deal with anything remotely like this on my face.

Alright, I'm posting a few photos here, but since they are honestly pretty gruesome to look at, I wouldn't recommend viewing them unless you have a strong stomach:

I should add that these photos actually look mild compared to how inflamed everything was just two months ago.

Now, while some of these spots, growths, or blemishes aren't really an issue, others are incredibly painful—they're deep under the skin, and there's absolutely nothing I can do about them.

About two months back, I was in total agony because so many of those areas were swollen, massive, and bright red; I couldn't even sit or walk without just suffering through it, because the pain was constantly throbbing. After about a week, it subsided, and I thought it was finally starting to clear up (though looking back, that might have just been a placebo effect), but now I can feel two subcutaneous "bombs" starting to develop in two different spots, where the pain is slowly but surely ramping up again.

Hygiene isn't the issue here; I don't touch that area at all, I shower every single day—sometimes twice a day—and for the last six months, I've been using a cleansing milk on the area, but nothing seems to have any impact on the situation.

I'm not sure if I've always had these minor breakouts, but I definitely noticed them about a year ago; back then, it was just two or three red spots that would fade away only to pop up again in different places.

If anyone has even the slightest idea of what this could be, I'm all ears, because this is becoming unbearably painful.

One more thing: that part of my body (my glutes and the tops of my legs) is absolutely wrecked. While the rest of my skin, like on my arms, is as smooth and even as a ten-year-old's, this area looks like 100-year-old skin that survived three World Wars and got wounded in every single one of them.
Holistic approaches to pain management in Health ·
The absolute dream would be finding some effective painkillers, but honestly, I’m totally lost when it comes to medication, so I was hoping some kind soul could point me toward the best over-the-counter option 😁

Basically, I’ve been getting these facial cleansing treatments for my acne, which involve using this device that uses electrical currents to contract the skin and "pull out" everything lodged in the pores, including blackheads. Now, don't get me wrong—the results are fantastic and it really works—but there's a massive catch: my skin is incredibly thin. Because of that, the whole process awfully hurts, and the device feels like it’s practically hitting bone because you have to apply a decent amount of pressure to actually get the job done. For people with thicker skin, it’s probably no big deal, but for me, these sessions are pure agony; I'm literally tearing up every single time. That’s why I’m looking for something in pill form that I can take about thirty minutes before my appointment just so I can endure the torture a bit more easily 🙏

Nicholas Turner said:That lady on the line is quite the "character." 😉 A receipt is a receipt—it’s just basic logic! It's like if you walked up to an AT&T service desk, paid your bill, and handed over the slip; any sane person would see that as absolute proof that the transaction went through.

done 😁
though I'm not nearly as bothered by that as I am by this 🤣

Whatever, I'll just give the guy a call and fax over the payment slip; hopefully, they'll actually accept it this time.

Nicholas Turner said:It usually takes about one business day—maybe three to five if things get backed up.

But listen, do you have that payment confirmation handy? Just snap a quick photo or scan it and send it over to him so he can see the funds actually cleared. There’s really no easier way than that.

I don't know, that's just what they told me when I called the Chase info line.

I have it, but the woman on the phone kept droning on about how, "under legal and banking regulations, a formal bank statement is the only authoritative proof of payment," or whatever she was trying to get at.

I'm going to try sending it anyway; I'll send it now and just see what happens.

Here’s how the whole mess is playing out:

Around 10:00 this morning, I wired some funds to a guy's Chase account. When I followed up with him immediately after, he claimed the money hadn't cleared yet and told me it usually takes about 24 hours to show up. Since I'm in a massive rush, I figured I could handle waiting until tomorrow morning if he was sure it would be visible by then.

Well, fast forward to now—I just called him again and he’s still insisting there's nothing in his account. I’m starting to spiral here. I tried calling my local Wells Fargo branch, but they had already closed for the day. So, I reached out to Chase instead, and the representative there tells me it can actually take anywhere from three to five business days for an interbank transfer to fully settle.😱
She even went as far as saying there's absolutely no way for the recipient to see those funds until the process is complete, mentioning something about the ACH network or whatever system handles these things.

I ended up calling the clearinghouse directly, but the woman on the line couldn't tell me much because, apparently, it's out of her hands and not really within their jurisdiction either.

Now I'm in a real bind. If that transfer doesn't show up in his balance by tomorrow morning, I might just jump off a bridge—okay, maybe that's a bit dramatic, but you get the point.

Is there seriously no other way for me to prove that the transfer was initiated? Is there no way to validate it without waiting for him to check a bank statement, an ATM receipt, or some other official record?

If anyone knows anything at all, please reach out, because this situation is incredibly urgent.😢
