Ronald Allen said:If you did an online transfer through your banking app, it should clear in maybe two or three hours. But, if you used a standard check or a money order, it probably won't show up until Monday, since banks don't process those kinds of things over the weekend.

No problem.

Is it possible that an online transfer wouldn't have cleared by now? I sent it yesterday around 10:30 PM. Also, if it did go through, is there any chance it just isn't showing up on my dashboard yet?

don't mess with ☕ 😁

I fixed it using water... looks like magic now. 😛

I'll post a photo later.

I'm using acrylics.

The theme is military camo—three colors: brown, green, and gray ☕ and it actually turned out pretty decent.

Hey there.

If I made a deposit around 10:30 this morning, how long does it usually take for the funds to actually hit my account? Will it show up tomorrow, or is it more of a matter of hours?

Thanks..☕

As far as I'm concerned, the first and third ones are equally good. 👍

This horror franchise is top-tier....🙂

For me, the first installment was the peak, especially that iconic ending.

Honestly, that’s easily one of the best plot twists I’ve ever seen in a movie. 👍
Ruins & Valentin (Nia Vardalos, 2009) in Movies ·

My Life in Ruins isn't just another tired, cliché romantic comedy. To be fair, it’s not reinventing the wheel either—there are definitely better entries in the rom-com genre out there, like My Big Fat Greek Wedding or Wedding Crashers. But beyond the laughs, the movie is packed with beautiful scenery and iconic landmarks... it really pulls you in and makes you want to book a flight to Greece immediately 😂 🤣. Bottom line: it's a solid pick for a Friday night 🙂

This movie is incredibly engaging and easy to watch; I actually found myself really liking it. In my opinion, casting Sandra Bullock was a total win. It’s got plenty of strengths and very few flaws. Honestly, it's a perfect pick for a Friday night in with your partner.😛

Psycho vs The Shining in Movies ·
cosmicraven2 said:Both are top-tier films. While The Exorcist might be more overtly terrifying, Rosemary's Baby left a much deeper impression on me—that creeping sense of dread that just builds until the very end.

Exactly. I've always been more drawn to psychological horror than the loud stuff—you know, the typical slashers or zombie flicks like Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, or Dawn of the Dead.

And I totally agree that Rosemary's Baby falls squarely into that psychological category.

Also, regarding that final shot in Rosemary's Baby where you catch a glimpse of the baby's eyes—it's subtle, barely showing the face. Honestly, it’s better that way; it forces you to use your imagination to fill in the blanks.

Both are pretty weak as horror movies, though I’d say Psycho edges out The Shining.
And I’m with you on Omen.

I actually disagree that those two are "weak" horror films. They’re pretty heavy hitters for me, specifically because of the psychological aspect. The plots make you wonder if that kind of thing could actually happen to anyone. It’s happened in real life—I remember reading an article online about parents killing their child because they thought the kid was possessed by a demon. Plus, everyone knows there are plenty of cases involving people who genuinely believe they're possessed...

That's exactly why it's scary; you know this stuff exists or has actually happened in the real world.

Yeah, I agree they're both great... and Omen is fantastic too (though only the original version for me)

If anyone actually remembers the specifics of what went down in Rosemary's Baby—because I've honestly blanked on that one part—I'd appreciate the help. 👍

Which of these two films actually hits harder as horror? I mean, which one feels more intense or leaves a deeper psychological mark that sticks with you long after the credits roll?

p.s. ...I've seen both, but it's been ages since I caught Rosemary's Baby on TV. Can someone refresh my memory on how that ending actually played out? Specifically, what did they do to the baby's eyes... and why did they never show the kid's full face?
Rosemary's Baby left a much stronger impression on me. I don't know why, but I couldn't sleep for nights after watching it.🤣
