Though, if one considers the sheer capability of this particular car, wouldn't you agree that reaching P6 in the sprint seems like a perfectly attainable goal?
p.s. Our dear Nikita was practically moved to tears yesterday following the qualifying session for the sprint:
Come on, Nikita—show some heart and actually go wheel-to-wheel with Lewis Hamilton at the start of the sprint tonight.
Live up to those claims about being ready and wanting more; show us you can actually deliver on track, Carlos Pace, especially while wrestling that scrap metal from Haas.

Essentially, this whole mess with the oversized DRS opening suggests that Mercedes has completely run out of legitimate technical solutions for the rest of the season.
They tried to spin a narrative about power unit adjustments and settle for a one-off five-place grid penalty, but... well, nobody bought it.
Honestly, if they’re allowed to get away with using this "modified" rear wing today and tomorrow, there’s really no point in even watching this Grand Prix weekend.

A four-car pileup at Turn 1: Perez, Bottas, Verstappen, and Hamilton.
Let's look at more... scenarios.
Working backward here:
Mazepin triggers the mess; his potential victims could be Latifi, Giovinazzi, Tsunoda, or Russell.
As for the front of the pack?
Perez is my first thought. His drive to win on home soil might push him toward a reckless move.
And then there's...
Sainz has enough potential to pull something ambitious.
All in all, I'd say there's a 49% chance of a collision and a 51% chance things stay clean during the opening lap.
It's possible the Mercedes drivers get a great launch and pull away immediately. That said, if Lewis goes beast mode off the line, Bottas will likely instinctively play wingman to cover his back.
ADDITION: No matter how much Verstappen has matured mentally, those split seconds of pure madness are dangerous; especially if Lewis has a poor start, Max will find that extra surge of motivation to overtake him before Turn 1—no matter the cost.

Lewis Hamilton is completely running the show out there.

It’s like a high-stakes game of musical chairs out there; Fernando Alonso is closing in on Kimi Raikkonen, and Raikkonen is right on Sebastian Vettel's heels.

Perez is going to absolutely tear that Honda engine apart, or maybe just push that Red Bull car to its absolute limit. He’s driving with the intensity of a wounded Valtteri Bottas.

If Sergio could just catch up to Lewis and pull ahead, it would feel like a massive victory for everyone involved.

Sergio Perez needs to push hard and find a way past Hamilton... I'm not expecting anything too crazy here.

It was Mazepin ahead of Alonso right at the start, and they're already sitting in the top four.
Now it’s all up to Sergio Perez to step it up and hunt down Lewis Hamilton during the restart.

You really need some serious grit for a move like that.
