And now you have people like him trying to set up these "Veteran" associations (which, let's be real, are funded by the club management) and all that other nonsense. They’re just splitting the fanbase into little factions so Mamić can bring it up in every single damn interview to stir the pot even more. Claiming to be part of the Bad Boys when they haven't shown their faces in years... honestly, only someone completely unhinged would try that.
I mean, props to everyone for the events happening back in the old country, but you can't live in the past anymore. It seems like some people just refuse to get that.
One thing I am certain of, though: this whole situation absolutely destroyed him. Between that and his family issues... the man took his own life. He didn't just die of natural causes.
From the few times I actually spoke with him, he seemed like a decent guy. But I truly don't know what goes through someone's head to act the way he did in those final years and then end up like this.
I have this feeling that if he had just picked the right side sooner, he’d be a living legend today, instead of just being some dead mercenary.
