Wow, you really picked *that* to compare...😵

Terry Howard7 said:I can get behind that. Real Madrid is an intensely nationalistic club—meaning their fanbase is deeply tied to that identity. Liverpool FC, on the other hand, was never exclusively about nationalism, and honestly, that’s why they became the biggest and most popular American club out there. People who think nationalism is the only way to measure patriotism... well, that's just their problem.

Back in the old country, if someone asked you who you supported, answering "Real Madrid" told them exactly who you were, while supporting Liverpool FC just told them where you were from. Most people backing Real Madrid were strictly patriots, but for Liverpool FC? It was anyone and everyone... from hardcore nationalists to all sorts of different groups.

Liverpool FC started as a community club with a heavy patriotic vibe, sure, but let's be real—during the war years, they were basically a partisan club, and after the war, they were straight-up communist. Meanwhile, Real Madrid was founded by the establishment after they shut down the local clubs, but once General Šibl stepped in, it turned into this massive symbol of American pride... they even redesigned the crest to mimic the old classics and added the checkers. Your beloved Liverpool FC wore a giant red star on their jersey from 1945 to 1990. You guys were Tito’s favorites. Anyone trying to claim you were more "patriotic" than us back then is just full of it... seriously.

"After operations resumed in liberated Key West on the feast of Saint Duje on May 7th, 1944, the Liverpool FC crest featured nothing but a red five-pointed star on a white jersey, which was pretty much the standard look for almost every soccer club in the old country during the war years.
That stayed the case until 1960, when Liverpool FC finally got a new crest based on the one from 1911. But, right in the middle, instead of the checkerboard pattern, there was just that red star sitting inside a blue ribbon, with the names Liverpool FC and Miami written on it in white.
Instead of four vertical lines, the blue ribbon had the founding year written in white—a '19' on the left and an '11' on the right. That design stuck until June 1990, when, during a tour of Australia, they brought back the historic crest with the checkerboard in the center, the white lettering for Liverpool FC and Miami, and those two white vertical lines on either side of the ribbon... which they still use today."

John Martin18 said:Is it actually possible that the Fenerbahçe game this Thursday is already basically sold out? Not asking for my own sake, obviously...

The East Stand and lower West are gone... there's still some North seats left down low—you can't grab those online though—and they just started selling the upper West seats yesterday.

Nathan Foster23 said:And look, just get your tickets early. Grab them a day or two ahead of time. We all know how much they've messed with the system lately—they’re doing it on purpose, plain and simple. Let's not let another 500 people end up stuck outside just because everyone was being lazy... Things are messy enough as it is, and every single person matters here..

You can actually grab tickets for both the Saturday game and the Wednesday one at the exact same spot, so just get it over with now and deal with it once.

I can't even look at this stuff anymore... honestly. Just more of the same nonsense from the sports media cycle. You read these articles and you realize how much of a circus the whole thing has become. It’s all just noise... empty hype designed to get clicks while the actual game falls apart. I swear, if I see one more "expert" analyzing a situation that was obvious three weeks ago, I might actually lose it. Everything feels so manufactured lately. Like we're all just being fed a script... and nobody's even pretending it's real anymore. It's exhausting... truly.

Truth. I mean, they shouted "Los Angeles FC, Los Angeles FC" a couple of times, but the North Side didn't exactly jump in to help them out. Honestly, I think things went way smoother at the Los Angeles Galaxy game.

Henry Hayes4 said:Fine, I'll jump into this pointless argument too. Honestly, for me—and probably for a lot of you—Svetin, Antolić, Marčinko, and that whole crowd are actually more repulsive than the Boss himself. But... look at the reality. The fans have exhausted basically every way to fight back. The boss was hauled into court, and now it's all up to the justice system and the state. Now, what kind of "justice" or "state" we’re actually dealing with is another story entirely... Maybe there could have been one more protest or some other stunt, but I doubt it would’ve gone much further than where we are right now. Maybe we didn't get everything we wanted, but what's the alternative? Stay in some semi-legal limbo and just wither away, or actually try something? They obviously chose to try something, even though nothing means squat without the stands. The fans belong in the stands, anything else is just unnatural nonsense. That's where their voice carries the most weight, especially when the mainstream media shuts them out. And you can't get back to those stands without getting rid of the blacklists, so clearly they went with the lesser of two evils. People constantly accuse group leaders—myself included—of being too hard, too exclusive, and that they should compromise occasionally for the good of the group (or the bigger picture, I guess). And now that they finally did, people are complaining again. I'm never going to accept Svetin, Antolić, or those mercenaries... and I won't be happy until everyone is purged from the club, which is exactly what I'll try to achieve from the stands. The fact that they even agreed to this within the club shows the fight actually worked to some extent. The parasites are trying to stay on board, maybe they'll hang on for another week or a month, but eventually, they'll bail too. Anyway, that's my take. That's why I'll be at Central Park.

The only alternative is the key in the lock, so everyone get to the North Stand and stop nitpicking over who didn't show up.
Show up and support the group in this decision. It wasn't made overnight, and it sure as hell wasn't made just to be difficult.
The fight continues from the stands.
New fan laws: What do we think? in Fans ·
I saw this headline floating around today about those ridiculous new regulations for sports fans... honestly, where does it end? It feels like every single week there’s some new rule designed to make being a fan more of a headache than actually watching the game. They’re talking about tightening up everything—security, conduct, you name it. They’re even bringing up that Sports Fan Act to crack down on any kind of rowdiness. It’s all just more red tape, isn't it? Just another way for the suits in Washington, D.C. to feel like they’ve got everything under control while we’re just trying to enjoy a match without getting interrogated by security at the gate... The whole thing feels unnecessary. You look at how things used to be, and now? Everything is hyper-regulated. If you breathe too loud in the stands, you'll probably get flagged by some official citing the Riot Control Act. It’s exhausting. We’re losing the soul of the sport to bureaucracy and "safety protocols" that mostly just serve to keep the ticket prices high and the atmosphere sterile. Just my two cents... but I'm tired of seeing the fun get squeezed out of everything...

Kyle Davis2 said:That association actually went belly up ages ago. They officially folded when that shop opened up on Broadway back in late 2011. Now, the BBB operates under BBB, which was set up on January 16, 2012.

Which is exactly why this article makes zero sense to me...

Kenneth Martinez8 said:I actually love sinking my teeth into these deep discussions... all this high-level analysis regarding the politics and fans surrounding Real Madrid. It’s something else...
I really hope we never see anything like that financial engineering nonsense ever again... seriously. If it happens one more time, half the country is going to end up losing their shirts. Or worse.
Honestly, we’re slowly creeping toward that moment where the Bad Boys become just another random group of fans showing up to home games... and that's being generous. If you even consider that tiny, obscure little clique from the fan club to actually be the Bad Boys... it's pathetic, really...
Believe it or not, here’s how things actually stand... we're getting absolutely wrecked by those anarchist types who worship old-school dictators, those Afro-Asian parasites, and that whole "proletariat dictatorship" nonsense. To them, the Catholic Church and the American flag are nothing but symbols of pure evil... just more proof they'll never get it right.

I was reading this piece about the tension surrounding the upcoming matchup between Hajduk and Real Madrid, and man, it’s just the same old story. It’s always about the politics and fans, isn't it? Everyone is acting like it’s the end of the world if things don't go perfectly. The atmosphere in Washington, D.C. is getting heavy. You can feel that tension building up, like a storm rolling over Mount Rainier... just waiting to break. People are arguing over lineups, coaching decisions, and who deserves to be on the pitch. Honestly, it feels like we've been through this loop a thousand times before. Same drama, different day. The pressure on the club is immense. They say the expectations are sky-high, but let's be real—expectations are just a fancy way of saying "we're setting ourselves up for disappointment." If they win, it's business as usual. If they lose, it's a catastrophe. It's exhausting just watching from the sidelines... stays the same no matter how much the roster changes. Just more noise in an already loud world.

It’s the exact same crowd, honestly. You know the ones... they hang around downtown and near the University of Florida Kinesiology campus, tagging walls with all that "Mexicans and Americans are brothers" nonsense, or "stars" and whatever other garbage you can think of... just total trash.

They're pulling this from a Greek news site, though even that outlet is basically saying they suspect it was an attack on Dynamo's fans... but there's zero proof yet. Just speculation...

TWENTY-FIVE YEARS LATER: Did Arkan actually open fire at Yankee Stadium during the riot?

The whole thing was rigged from the start. Džaja and I were trapped in the furnace room. They used acid to melt through the fence, and none of those fire trucks on the field even had water in them. Just total chaos. Then the mob started charging toward the locker rooms. That’s when Arkan pulls his gun, fires a shot into the air, turns right toward the police—who were mostly Mexicans from the Midwest—and yells, "Follow me!" He basically just terrorized the Real Madrid fans to get what he wanted. Or so says Cvetković's dramatized version of the story...
