I’ve always had a massive soft spot for punk'n'roll, but honestly, Nashville Pussy has always been pretty much bottom of the barrel for me... unless you count the assholes, I guess 🙂
Ha, I’m the one who sold you those three tracks 😁

Did you actually listen to them? 😢
In my estimation, bands like Mayday Parade, Paramore, and maybe even some early Panic! At The Disco fall somewhere in the 150-$67 range. Then you've got the classics—maybe Nirvana or Pearl Jam sitting at a solid 10-20... and I'd say Radiohead or Nine Inch Nails easily top a hundred or more. As for R.E.M., I haven't really sat down to count...
The Gun Club’s "Las Vegas Story," on CD, featuring the 2004 SFTRI remaster... $17.
I think I only ever caught glimpses of them outside the main Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival grounds...

Open the news page on Note and look at the first two headlines—or the first three if they post updates on their own feed—and every single one is just about event postponements... I’d love to pull a stunt like that while still collecting a paycheck 🙏 🙏 🙏
Look, they managed to list barely six foreign acts. I can't even make sense of more than four because the rest just bleed into each other 🙏 🙏 🙏

And on the first day, there is absolutely NOTHING worth seeing besides maybe Arcade Fire—I'll probably just drop by the festival for an hour or two 🤣

I've tried to stay neutral despite the endless whining and complaining about the lineup, but after this, I honestly hope the organizers have nothing but pure chaos when they try to put together future festivals 🙄
This isn't the full lineup, obviously—just the schedule for the "nighttime programming." Don't feed the trolls by clicking... ☕
Douglas Morris32 said:If you don't find out less than a month in advance, you won't have any idea when the festival is actually happening, let alone who you might be able to invite...

And that's also true.
It rubs me the wrong way when people accuse the city's municipal holding company of just trying to squeeze profit out of the festival. And then you have the organizers acting like they’re running the whole thing purely out of the goodness of their hearts... which is a bit much. That said, I really wish they'd bring back zero day.

That’s why I’m asking—is this just their standard merch for every tour stop, or did someone locally strike a deal with them just to push it here in Chicago?

They weren't even on tour; they just flew in for this one show. If they were playing thirty gigs in a row, I highly doubt they'd be lugging around thirty different shirt designs😁 as for whether they printed these themselves or if some local outfit worked out a deal with them, I honestly haven't a clue...
I didn't say they were the best, but I'll admit, they were good. They played everything in their repertoire—if my math is right, they tacked on two or three extra songs beyond the usual set list 🙂
...
They aren't quite big enough to justify a trip, but I'd love to see them perform here 🙂
Man, catching 😢Primus
live would be something else...

it would have been wonderful 🙂
I was just about to point out that while Mastodon might technically play metal, they draw more of an indie crowd than a true metal audience... but after reading this "rabbit in the moon" comment, I guess I have nothing left to say. 🙏

Isn't it still available? As far as I know, they haven't sold out yet... though that dusty little corner store closed up at 2:00, which probably means the only ones left are sitting right by the entrance...
What kind of connection were you even running? I don't believe you... 😁

The cheapest price slipped right past me too—the one that lasted maybe seven minutes after the cards hit the system at that sketchy old 😠 site
.
Sad 😢
