What on earth does that have to do with anything? 😁 I’ve been dealing with my period for like 6 or 7 years now, and I’ve always washed my hair while on my cycle—never had a single issue. Just go ahead and dye your hair, seriously. 😍
restlesscyclist19 said:Hey ladies 🙂 ...I've got a quick question, is it actually normal for my period to last literally only two days (meaning actual bleeding), followed by another day or two of just brown discharge?
rowdyraven3 said:So, I’m heading to a First Communion tomorrow, and honestly? Since I grew up in a different faith, this whole thing feels pretty foreign to me. In my family, we just had the baptism and—boom—that was it. But reading through all these comments, I’m feeling a little uneasy about how much money people are dropping on gifts. It really makes you wonder... what's the actual point of these religious studies classes? Is it to actually learn about faith, or is it just a marathon to get to the gift-giving part?
I actually asked my husband's sister about this—she was at a Confirmation recently (which, again, I'm still trying to wrap my head around)—but she basically just rolled her eyes at me. She told me my nephew has been waking up at 5:00 AM all these years just to sit in church and listen to religious ed, and for what? Just to get through First Communion and Confirmation so he can collect presents? 🙂
Look, if the whole point of the ceremony—if the ritual itself is just an excuse to rack up expensive gifts instead of focusing on something "higher," then count me out. I'm not going tomorrow if that's the case. I have zero intention of buying gold jewelry or high-end watches. 😢

It seems I’m a total outlier in your eyes—everything except for that one specific thing you mentioned. Or am I? ☕
Personally, I find people who offer zero inspiration or fascination—you know, the ones who don't contribute anything remotely positive to the conversation—to be total oddballs. They just seem completely detached from the real world around them. Is it just me? It feels like they're living in a bubble while the rest of us are actually dealing with reality.
They’re what makes life worth living. 🙂You know, if you're looking to dive into that world, there’s plenty out there. You've got cartoons, documentaries, magazines, books... the list goes on. What else do you need?
Ever since we started actually paying attention, it’s become pretty obvious that the world is just teeming with endless varieties of life. It's everywhere. You look around and see an infinite array of species, all sporting the most bizarre patterns and colors you could imagine. Each one comes with its own set of weird abilities, strange instincts, and entirely unique ways of surviving. It's almost overwhelming, isn't it? Just constant, chaotic biological diversity happening right under our noses. Blah, blah, blah.crimsontinker99 As I was saying:
Yeah, I agree. But let’s be honest—we aren't exactly normal to them either, are we? We're just as much the oddballs in their eyes. And frankly? It doesn't bother me one bit. 😍 Does it even matter if they like them? As long as they aren't causing harm or leading others down a dark path, who cares?
Look, I didn't say they were psychopaths. I just find the whole thing bizarre. Since when did being an animal lover make someone a weirdo? Honestly, having that much extra empathy isn't exactly a burden. If anything, it broadens your perspective instead of narrowing it. Why would anyone want a smaller world?
Honestly, this drives me insane. Back when I had a dog, I never let anyone get close if he was panting like crazy or just looking miserable. You know the type—jumping all over your jeans and leaving slobber everywhere? Even if the dog wasn't even remotely dangerous, I wouldn't allow it. If things actually looked sketchy, sure, I’d grab a muzzle. But otherwise, what's the big deal?🤷
You can't explain that part either, and you won't. Honestly, if it were actually understandable, they wouldn't be acting this way in the first place. Would they? 🙂
Edward Murphy4 said:I get where you're coming from. Just... not when it comes to animals.😁
I totally feel you on the whole "lack of feelings" thing regarding toddlers. Honestly, I can't even explain how much I hate the societal pressure to just melt into a puddle of joy every time a baby crawls by. It's exhausting.
It’s that skin-crawling sensation you get when someone tries to force that "aww" moment on you.🙄
On the flip side? I absolutely love animals. 😍
Jesse Fox5 said:People always try to use puberty as a convenient excuse for being straight-up rude and acting out.
Give me a break... honestly, nobody’s hormones are crashing so hard that they lose all sense of what they're doing. Like, sure, they might be wild or swear at their parents—we've all been there—but using it as a get-out-of-jail-free card? Total nonsense.
Susan Price said:So, about a month ago—maybe a little longer, honestly, I lose track—I came down with something. Just a minor bug, a nasty little cold, nothing too crazy. I ended up on Augmentin and using some Nassau nasal spray, and I was pretty much out of commission for six days. Had a fever, too, though nothing wild, just hovering around that 99-100 degree mark. Anyway, you know how it goes when you're sick—at one point, my sense of smell and taste just... vanished. Like, poof. Usually, that’s standard stuff, right? You expect everything to snap back to normal after a week or two.
But here’s the thing: it’s been three weeks now, and I am still not quite back to my old self. It happens more often than not lately—I’ll be eating, and suddenly there’s zero flavor. I could literally be eating a bowl of plain kale—which I absolutely loathe, by the way—and it wouldn't even matter because I can't taste a thing. And then there are those moments where my roommate will mention how good someone smells (or how much that one guy in our building stinks), and I’m just sitting there like, "Uh, I don't smell anything." It isn't happening every single second, but man, it’s starting to get on my nerves.
I’m sitting here having breakfast right now, and I honestly have no clue if this pear is even good or if it tastes like cardboard. This morning, I actually managed to taste the lactose-free milk I had... which was weird enough. wtf? 😕
Basically, people keep telling me that this can happen sometimes after taking strong antibiotics or from using that Nassau spray. And fine, I get it, but a whole month? Has anyone else dealt with this exact same headache?
jadecyclist75 said:So, here’s my absolute biggest headache right now: I’ve got this one single tooth that just sits way higher than all the others. It’s driving me insane. Honestly, if you look at the rest of my smile, everything is actually pretty white and looks decent enough—it’s not like I have bad teeth or anything. But that one rogue tooth sticking out? It totally ruins the whole vibe. It’s like having a perfectly painted house but one window is crooked and sticks out three inches from the wall. It’s all I can see when I look in the mirror.
I can't believe I'm even typing this out right now, but honestly, someone needs to say it. I’ve been sitting here staring at my screen, just fuming, because I feel like I’m the only one actually paying attention to how things are going lately. It feels like everything is just spiraling, and nobody wants to take accountability for any of it. I was grabbing coffee downtown the other day—just trying to have a normal Tuesday morning, mind you—and listening to people talk, and it’s the same old story everywhere. Everyone is just coasting, expecting things to work perfectly without putting in a shred of actual effort. It reminds me of that time back in high school when our whole soccer team thought they could just show up for the championship game without practicing once. We got absolutely crushed, obviously, but even then, people were acting like it wasn't their fault. That's exactly what we're seeing now on a much larger scale. It’s exhausting. You try to follow the rules, you try to do things the right way, and it feels like the system is basically designed to trip you up while everyone else watches and laughs. It’s frustrating, it’s messy, and frankly, it’s getting ridiculous. I’m not trying to be a hater, I really am, but if we don't start demanding more from ourselves and our institutions, we're just heading straight for another disaster. Just my two cents, but I'm tired of being the only one seeing the red flags. kaže:
Good luck out there—and you better have your wallet ready. 😍
Drew Johnson2 said:Well, I finally sat down and watched it... I couldn't make it to the theater in time, so I just waited until the DVD arrived in the mail. It was fine. And honestly, I have no idea why everyone is making such a massive fuss about it being inappropriate for school kids... my six-year-old son watched it and actually enjoyed himself quite a bit. Apparently, there are some "terrifying" scenes in there, but if you ask me, Ben 10 is way more intense than this...

Honestly, I’ve had enough of this obsession with America. It’s just too much. That whole ideology practically screams from the screen in that film.☕
It’s honestly impressive how blatant illiteracy and pure ignorance radiate from every single one of your posts.
In short, the book is set during the fifties.
It’s been transported back to the eighties. For this story to actually work, the total absence of cell phones, laptops, and shows like CSI is absolutely vital. Without that, there wouldn't even be a plot to speak of.
Let's film Jack the Ripper, but let’s drag him into the modern era. Imagine it: Jack the Ripper vs. James Bond. Now that would be something!
The movie is going to be five minutes long at most, especially if Horatio Caine decides to step in and help.
Besides, if you're going to transplant a movie into the eighties, then those eighties actually have to look like the eighties. You get what I'm saying?
Only someone truly obsessed, like you, could be this fixated on America.
I bet even those folks from Smogovac practically reek of that old America vibe. But hey, if they actually had decent internet access and smartphones, maybe they’d finally turn into a hit TV series.
Daniel Bailey39 said:Fair enough, but you also have to ask why things ended up this way, right?🤷
So, I’ll pose the question myself:
Why is it that most people just don't care for American films?
Let's keep this rhetorical so we don't end up bickering.

I don't get this theory of yours that kids can't relate to characters just because the story isn't happening "here and now." Like I said before, if a movie fails to resonate with today's youth, it's not because the setting isn't 2011—it's because kids today simply couldn't care less about American cinema.
Daniel Bailey39 said:The books are absolutely fantastic, but I have a sinking feeling this movie might be a total disaster because it’s unclear who the target audience actually is (at least from what I can gather)
All those classic films—think stuff like *The Outsiders* or *Snowpiercer*—they really need a modern remake, but one stripped of all that heavy nostalgia. It would be like a crew restoring an old mill, except instead of folks in traditional rural gear, they're using high-tech equipment.
And don't even get me started on how American productions lack these kinds of gadgets...
If a character like Kokov were to succeed today, he'd realistically need a laptop, a smartphone, and things like that. It should be possible to weave those elements into the original story without losing the soul of it.

I'm looking at this absolute mess and honestly, my brain is just short-circuiting. It’s like someone took a pile of garbage, threw it in a blender, and called it "content." Seriously, what are we even doing here? This is exactly why I lose faith in people every single time I scroll through these threads. You see something like this and you just want to throw your laptop out the window. It’s frustrating, it’s mindless, and quite frankly, it’s a complete waste of everyone's time. I've seen some nonsense in my day, but this? This takes the cake. 🤣

Man, it’s such a massive bummer that we won't be seeing the absolute standout performer from the first film in the sequel. Honestly, without that guy, the whole thing feels like it's missing its soul. Total drag.
Charles Sullivan64 said:What a total freaking fail... It’s going to absolutely butcher a perfectly good movie. I seriously can't stand them and that whole 2012 era.

Why? Well, someone’s gotta examine the dead. 🤷
