URGENT: Need help ASAP! in Hardware ·
It’s pretty unlikely that anything actually burned out just from some air blowing around. You should probably double-check all your cables—just like our friend over there suggested. Honestly, I once had a moment where I completely forgot to plug the CPU power cable into the motherboard, so I get it. I'm assuming those fans you're talking about are part of the case itself...

Edit: By the way, did you plug in the dedicated power connector for your graphics card? It's an easy thing to overlook.

It's a solid buy—definitely grab one if you need it!
Honestly, I haven't even opened mine in months...

Cracking website login passwords in Software ·
If you’re running Mozilla and you’ve actually saved your login info before, try heading over to Tools - Options - (tab) Security - saved password - show password
Most other browsers probably have something pretty similar tucked away in their settings somewhere.
Birds are DESTROYING my siding—HELP PLEASE!!! in Forum Help! ·
Jack Ward82 said:Seriously though, who’s actually moderating this forum? Someone needs to step up with a metaphorical broom and just sweep all this nonsense away once and for all. 😁

Who? The birds?
Air fryer acting weird in IT Support ·
Have you thought about switching up the media you're burning to? I’ve got a Samsung burner myself—honestly, it’s been a total workhorse—and I’ve rarely run into issues; it handled basically 99% of the stuff I threw at it without breaking a sweat.
Forum's lagging again... in Forum Help! ·
Raymond Walker5 said:This forum is actually perfect for building some serious mental toughness. Back in the good old days—you know, when the husband would step out of the cave to hunt wild game and the wife would wait for days, or sometimes forever, praying he didn't get eaten by a saber-toothed tiger—life was different. Nowadays, you just stroll into a Walmart and everything is handed to you on a silver platter.
We’ve become incredibly impatient; we’re rushing everywhere, our nerves are shot, and everyone’s fuse is way too short. Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with every single page on this forum taking about five minutes to load. It gives a person a chance to sit back and reflect on their life, their purpose, and the ultimate fate of humanity. It provides that window to disconnect from the world, so that during those precious moments spent waiting for ten pages to load, you can start contemplating the deeper spiritual aspects of existence.
So, I’m actually grateful to this forum. I hope they stay true to themselves and keep toughening up the nerves of the average user—someone who feels like they constantly need to be "getting somewhere," even though we all know there's really only one final destination for us all.

is... what? 🤷

macOS was unable to format USB drive in Hardware ·
So, I’ve got these two 8GB Transcend flash drives that are driving me absolutely nuts. Here’s the deal: when I plug them into my computer, they show up in File Explorer and I can actually open them, but—get this—it’s like looking into a void. It’s as if they’re completely empty. I can’t even get them to format. The weirdest part? They work perfectly fine on a different PC—I can open them and do whatever I want. I even tested them on my own machine by booting up a live version of macOS or Linux, and they work flawlessly there; I can use them and format them without any drama. But the second I boot back into my regular macOS, we're right back to square one. I’m starting to wrap my head around the fact that it’s definitely macOS causing all this grief...
Best headphones under $40? in Computer Peripherals ·
I’ve got my hands on these and honestly, I couldn't be happier with them. I've been using them primarily for my PC setup.
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I know a great one, but they’re based over in Newark. Honestly, it’s totally worth the trek out from Chicago. I think they used to practice in NYC, too. If you want their number, just shoot me a PM.
Need help picking a monitor! Urgent in Computer Peripherals ·
So, I’ve been poking around these monitors too, and from what everyone else seems to be saying, they look pretty solid. Honestly, though—just hang tight until someone who actually owns one reaches out so you can get the real deal directly from a user. By the way, that first link just lands you on the Best Buy homepage. As for the second one, you might want to check out some other retailers to see if you can snag a better price—maybe try something like: http://www.nabava.net/trazilica.php?...=Pretra%C5%BEi
