I feel the exact same way, honestly. Although, I have to admit, the new record just hasn't really stuck with me yet—it’s just not quite hitting that spot.😳

... because by then, almost the entire lineup will have been announced!
Well, I don't recall ever claiming there wouldn't be stuff on here that isn't quite my vibe. My whole point was really just about the artists who have been announced up to this point, you know? ☕ And, I mean, I suppose I am hoping that we'll find ourselves laughing about this in a little while.
Michael Harris10 said:To be honest, I don't think I ever really gave much thought to Simon & Garfunkel until I heard that collaboration they did with mana Cha, but as for Serj Tankian... well, if you somehow haven't crossed paths with his voice by now, I suppose you must have been living under a rock since 2001!
As far as I’m concerned, I have to hand it to the organizers on this one—they really knocked it out of the park. It is quite rare to see such an incredible lineup of musicians who have actually gone out and proven themselves on the big stages already, rather than just being hyped up by some label. Honestly, I think it’s going to be a massive privilege to actually be there in person for the show; I mean, I wouldn't miss it for anything, I guess.
Well, look, I suppose I should clarify that when I mentioned them earlier, I wasn't actually claiming to have heard their stuff—not that I’d been eavesdropping on their rehearsals or anything like that, per se. But honestly, now that I’ve finally had the chance to listen, I have to say, I am just completely floored by how much they blew me away. It was quite something, really. ☕ Well, I mean... please excuse my ignorance here, but I suppose we aren't exactly looking at a stellar lineup this year when you compare it to last year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. 🤷
I suppose if we’re talking about Rishav, we’re really talking about Charles—assuming, of course, that we’re all referring to the same Charles (right?). And honestly, it’s just... well, it's typical. He basically just gives up halfway through everything. 😁

80s artists: raincoat with a stick rock, cash, and a hard hat blood (or maybe some organs?) in glasses green on a traffic light a lamb, a bee, and some coins
90s artists: someone biting some DJs the US flag, asparagus, and a knee? two Black preachers, a picture of a sidewalk, and a little man pictogram that says IC a glass, the letter L, and a raven
00s artists: the letter M juice, an open can, and some pictures of a house and a lake? wine, a sniper, a house, and the letter E four kings and somewhere in France
80s album: a woman dreaming of colorful candy a sock and a dead-end sign that one woman in the black shirt, who even is she?
90s albums (these are just way too abstract for me): some skyscrapers and a photo with some numbers on a wooden background? soldiers killing each other and a pin stuck into a map of LA a scalpel and a road a razor blade
I only guessed two from the 80s, and maybe three each from the 90s and 00s 🤷 🙂
I updated my score, and now I'm at 36/81. I honestly cannot believe I didn't recognize the Spice Girls or Purple Rain. 😳
I mean, I’ve been sitting here thinking that maybe, just maybe, Portishead could actually pull off a performance. 🤔 With a brand new album on the horizon, a potential tour, and that legendary longevity they have... it would honestly be the perfect fit for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Ev' I’ve been spending a little too much time lately aimlessly scrolling through Last.fm, and I guess it looks like Portishead, Feist, Björk, Band of Horses, Beach House, TV on the Radio, and maybe even Menomena might be touring around Europe during June... 🤷♀️
oh, sorry 😢 so, I was actually watching this interview with the FBI last week, and they mentioned that once they wrap up their run in Japan, the tour is pretty much over—they even turned down a second leg in Canada. then, looking back at Interpol's schedule last night, it seems like their tour might also be winding down around March with a stint in South America, mostly because bands tend to have this habit of finishing things off either in Asia or South America. since both Interpol and the FBI kicked off their tours around the same time, I guess... 😢 Rhode Island has some open dates, or rather, their tour kicks off on June 6th in Ireland (or maybe England, I'm not entirely sure 🤔) so I can't say for certain... they don't start playing festivals until July... Hmm...
I mean, Arcade Fire is wrapping up their tour in Japan in about a month before they head into a hiatus, so that’s probably a definite no-go. Interpol really should have played last year, but they haven't quite made it happen yet, and as for Radiohead, well, unfortunately 😢 they are just way out of our league. 😢
Honestly, I’m not even sure about anything anymore. Someone even claimed they added The Beatles to the lineup 😬 The reality is that neither Arcade Fire, The Flaming Lips, nor Interpol have anything scheduled during those dates.
And this whole thing regarding the tickets? It feels like the same old story we hear every single year.
Come on, let's try to find at least one silver lining here, shall we? But honestly, if Arcade Fire or Interpol shows up—or if God forbid the US government decides to step in—we are absolutely toast... 😍 And the worst part is, this isn't even just some high school graduation drama...
