Please, just don't go back to those old Coldplay days 😠

I honestly just can't bring myself to stomach this whole Belle & Sebastian obsession. 🙄

Well, since everyone was saying The Day After Tomorrow would be Sunday, I guess I just went ahead and assumed... 😁

Maybe they should just air THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW! next Sunday, September 11th.
Actually, I just borrowed a copy from the local video rental shop and I'm kind of really enjoying it right now.
😬

So, why on earth did they move Fahrenheit?
Fahrenheit 9/11 in Movies ·
Well, credit where credit is due, I suppose; they really do have a knack for throwing us those little curveballs every once in a while.
those idols—especially that one part where he starts listing everything 😁 ))

Alright... let me try to actually stay on-topic for once, if such a miracle is even possible... does anyone happen to know where I can download the new Coldplay album before I head out to Dallas later this summer?
Dealing with an emotional manipulator in Psychology ·
Jegulja said:Yeah, those kinds of guys can be incredibly, almost frighteningly rational, using this bulletproof logic to justify absolutely everything they do.
They can also be extremely attentive, gentle, and—at least at first glance—seem like these perfectly wonderful, ideal men...

But then, at the exact same time, they can be utterly ruthless, because I guess they simply aren't afraid of doing whatever it takes to get what they want...
They’re often master manipulators, brimming with good manners and romantic gestures and this relentless persistence... yet, simultaneously, they can be the biggest creeps because they don't give a single damn about collateral damage.
Just to give you an idea: this acquaintance of mine was actually courting two different women at once... while his divorce proceedings were still dragging on... he even ended up reconciling with his wife in the end... but eventually, things just blew up anyway.

Man, why does this sound so familiar? Tell me, does this guy have any kids?
Side effects of birth control pills? in Health ·
I have to say, I’m actually quite fond of this whole thing with the eyelashes, it’s very 😁 , and honestly, I suspect I’ll be heading up to the top tier of society myself quite soon—though if I’m being perfectly honest, I suppose I might already be there...😳
Side effects of birth control pills? in Health ·
So, I actually went ahead and asked my OB-GYN about it, and she mentioned that maybe—and I mean just *maybe*—I might experience some headaches, and if they get bad, I should probably give her office a call right away, though honestly, after reading through all those intense horror stories online...😢
Side effects of birth control pills? in Health ·
hey

So, my gynecologist gave me a prescription for birth control pills after our first checkup last week, mostly just to get my cycle under control since that’s apparently a big deal at my age (I'm 16), and I finally picked them up. I'm supposed to start taking them soon, but now I can't help but wonder... how many of those scary side effects listed in the pamphlet are actually realistic? I guess I'm just feeling a little bit spooked by the whole thing..
Is it just me, or is Yaya actually good? in Music ·
So... I’ve been hearing some whispers that Ripper and Yaya actually ended up together. Honestly, if it’s true, they are both just incredibly selfish, self-absorbed, and frankly, a bit full of themselves. At least, that’s what my most reliable sources are telling me. But then again, listening to Jinxi and Yay’s voices... 🙏 🙏 🙏

So, I found myself revisiting The Green Mile yesterday, and honestly, it just hit me all over again. It’s one of those films that stays with you. I think it originally came out back in 1999, and I remember catching it on video almost immediately—probably around 2000—when I was maybe eleven years old. Even back then, it completely floored me. Reading through some of the older posts here about whether parents should let their kids watch it, I suppose I should mention that I wasn't actually that traumatized by all the intense, gritty stuff. I mean, I guess I could have been, but what really stuck with me—what truly left a mark—was Mr. Jingles. I vividly remember crying late last year when that awful Percy did what he did to him with the floorboards... it was just devastating. But, looking back, I feel like all that heavy violence didn't even bother me as much as it should have, mostly because the movie is crafted in such a way that it sort of pulls your attention away from the brutality and forces you to focus on the deeper moral dilemmas and the sheer absurdity of the situation instead. It’s just... well, there it is. 🙂

So, Coldplay is dropping a new album this June, which means a massive world tour is right around the corner... and I can't help but wonder, what are the actual odds of them bringing the show out here to the States?

Terminal in Movies ·
So, I just finished watching it... and honestly, I really enjoyed it. There’s just something about seeing Tom Hanks paired up with Spielberg that works so perfectly for me; it’s such a delicious combination. The movie itself is quite a treat, though I have to say, it starts off feeling a bit heavy and melancholy. It definitely picks up steam as it goes, getting better and better, even if I found myself feeling a little let down by how things wrapped up at the very end. Specifically, during those final 20 minutes...😳

Sarah Long said:I don't have it, unfortunately, but I'd really suggest you try to find a physical copy at a rental place rather than relying on DivX, because honestly, those files are almost always terrible quality—most of the ones I've stumbled upon were just such a shame to watch since they looked so grainy. :/

PS: about those kid assassins—Alex and Eric, if my memory serves me right—they aren't actually brothers, right? And that scene where they’re having breakfast and the old guys tell Eric something along the lines of, "Hey, you could grab breakfast somewhere else," those are Alex's people... or am I totally off base here? 🤔

But yeah, I don't have the file either... and I actually doubt even this one place—it's basically the only video store left in town—even carries it. 😢
Dimples above the butt? in Health ·
northerntrucker2 said:Well, I actually have one—just this tiny, microscopic little dimple right in the middle, almost like someone poked me with a needle once and left a mark. I’ve had it for as long as I can remember, so I guess I’m wondering, what even is that thing?

Honestly, when I'm with my girlfriend, I am absolutely obsessed with those little dimples on her backside; it’s easily one of my favorite things ever.

I mean, I really don't know... though, if I'm being honest, it feels like one of them might have actually disappeared or something just a couple of days ago...😢

Please... if anyone happens to be feeling generous, could you possibly send me that DivX file? I’ve been searching everywhere, but I just can't seem to track it down anywhere.🙄

I don't actually have any of those little marks myself, though I did happen to notice just one single spot, right up there, roughly in the center...🙄
