Why on earth would anyone even ask that? I mean, I suppose I could attempt to untangle the massive, convoluted web of reasons behind this, though honestly, it feels like trying to map out the entire interstate highway system during a blizzard—completely overwhelming and probably a waste of good coffee. I guess there might be some logic buried deep under all the chaos, maybe, if one were inclined to spend hours overanalyzing every single variable, but I find myself wondering if we aren't just chasing ghosts at this point. It’s all a bit much, isn't it?
I’ve spent way too much time unsuccessfully trying to actually sit down and watch this movie—I mean, I’ve had the Air soundtrack on constant rotation for years now—and then, out of nowhere, ABC just decides to surprise me by airing it. It was such a pleasant shock. Honestly, it's a beautiful film. For once, the music and the visuals actually felt like they were breathing together; everything just clicked perfectly. The setting, that hazy, sun-drenched atmosphere where all these tragedies unfold... it was handled so well. It never once felt cheap or overly sentimental, which I think is hard to pull off. Just a wonderful piece of cinema. I am genuinely counting down the days until it hits the US market on DVD!
So, basically... I went in for some imaging, and my doctor actually told me I’m cleared to fly commercial again, which is a relief 😬 But there's this catch where my bilirubin levels are sitting at 27.3, and she's honestly still scratching her head about the cause; it's just this weird discoloration right on the surface of my skin, yet there isn't any sign of an allergy, hives, or purpura or anything like that She did mention that, I suppose, it's not exactly a great sign regardless, so she suggested I check in with my OB-GYN—just to see if there might be some connection to birth control, even though this whole thing started well before I ever picked up a pill—and she warned me that if this keeps up, I might end up with broken capillaries all over my body. :zbunjeni:
So, I'm heading in for some bloodwork tomorrow, since I haven't actually made it to a dermatologist yet. I have this nagging suspicion that whatever is going on might be showing up in my labs, but honestly, the way it looks on my skin right now is just... well, it's pretty catastrophic. It’s looking less like a minor skin issue and more like those gruesome post-mortem discolorations you see in crime dramas.
So, I was reading this story about how one doctor ordered a routine complete blood count, and apparently, another colleague nearly had a full-blown meltdown when she saw the results. 😬
For about a year now, I've been dealing with these purple bruises popping up on my feet multiple times a day, and occasionally they show up elsewhere on my body, regardless of how cold it is or how healthy I’ve been feeling lately. It all started with my feet, but then it spread to my ankles (which honestly looks pretty terrible), my hips, and my arms. I tried to snap some photos so you guys could get a clearer idea of what I'm talking about, but the camera just isn't cooperating at all 😬 .
Another thing—and this might be a separate issue entirely—is that I woke up with four or five red welts on my right leg that seemingly appeared overnight.
Does anyone have any clues as to what might be going on?

Man, you really are something else, aren't you? 😂 😂 😂
