My apologies if I'm repeating myself here—given that this thread is already over 100 pages deep, I’m almost certain someone has already asked this.

To get straight to the point: I'm looking for a way to format an Excel cell so that when I type "1701" and hit enter, it automatically converts to a date like 01/17/12 (or 01/17/2012, honestly, I don't mind which). I just want to be able to breeze through data entry without the extra steps.

I thought I could just handle this via "Format Cells" by picking a standard date format. However, when I try typing something like 170112 while using a dd.mm.yy format, the result is absolute chaos—it spits out some completely nonsensical date like 05/18/2035.

I’ve spent some time digging around online, but I haven't stumbled upon a solution that actually makes sense yet. Rather than spiraling into a Google rabbit hole, I figured I'd check in here first.

I am running Microsoft Office 2007.

I’d argue that Wumpscut is essentially playing at being edgy. It feels less like a genuine movement and more like a calculated attempt to adopt an industrial aesthetic specifically designed to induce a bad trip. Now, my background is primarily in disco, so I look at things through that lens; the "trip" they’re selling isn't quite the visceral, mind-bending experience you get from bands like Gristle or SPK. It’s a somewhat sanitized, almost cliché version of chaos. But if Wumpscut decides that the path to a dark disco sound requires summoning demons, rehashing traumatic childhood tropes, or screaming about Soylent Green—fine, he’ll play that hand.

To be fair, mainstream pop isn't necessarily any stupider than EBM; if anything, I’d argue some indie artists actually lean into a bit of a crossover with those sonic monsters (think Nine Inch Nails, for example). 🤣 👍

Regarding the looks of the Hocico members, I’m not going to get into specific physical traits, but man, look at the guy on the left in that PVC coat and tell me that styling doesn't work for him.
