NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
I was just playing on SS, and everything seems to be hitting perfectly. I’m actually a little nervous to even admit what my picks were.
Whatever, here are my picks for you guys:
Philadelphia over (I guess I'm just being stubborn)
LA Lakers under
Dallas under 🤦
Chicago over (It would have been nice if I'd caught that intel sooner)🤦
Utah betting line over 100—this one caught my eye because it feels like they're skating on thin ice here, yet Utah consistently clears 100 when facing teams like this.
The trick is to play more parlays with smaller stakes; then you don't have to stress about it. It's not worth the headache.

It’s just the usual system for the little guy—nothing ever really changes. The bank filled up last night, so things should be moving along steadily now.
I’ll probably run my analyses around midnight. Talk soon.

You’ve already picked out the two biggest locks on the board.
Just a word of caution: the San Antonio Spurs might end up being a public bet, because I’m not exactly feeling confident about Memphis. They did their job last night against the Pacers, but today they’re going up against a team that’s basically just cleaning up leftovers. Personally, I wouldn't touch that one.

Foye, man. Last time he called a foul, now he’s rushing the call. And he's sitting on 4-for-10 from deep.
Blake is playing like an absolute beast.
Who’s even going to step up in crunch time? Butler?

piaf: Foye, man, double whammy. Looks like the over 192 might quietly slip through too, even though it didn't look likely at any point.
double piaf: Foye, triple whammy. Chandler left us hanging on the under. Plus, I don't really get that last pass during the set play.
I rushed my thought because I know how the LA Clippers operate. Just my luck.

Luckily, I pulled Charlotte from my parlay because I remembered that Orlando fans frequent this board, and it was probably too late to give you guys a heads-up anyway. 😁
Philly under, Dana Baker2 🙂
Chicago Bulls under, tsigi 🙂
I still have that "emotional rollercoaster" game left—over 204. And once again, 🤣 to Dana Baker2 for calling that one, since we were all collectively complaining about the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.
Clippers take 5th in the West; congrats to the Grizzlies on moving on to the Conference semifinals.

Arthur Hill2 said:It looks like Chris Paul might play through the injury.😕

Man, honestly, I’m starting to lose all respect for the LA Clippers (kind of like a gambler who can never figure out how to bet on them). Luckily, they'll probably crash and burn in the playoffs soon enough.😁

Someone mentioned taking the Phils under 95; I guess that might be a smart play given how the app is set up lately.
Charlotte is a lock for me, even if they end up dropping 120. We aren't going to be seeing much of them for a while—just today and tomorrow—so it would be nice if they didn't let us down.

James Taylor3 said:Are you thinking about the Chicago area and Indiana? 🤣

No, not on the OKC-Denver route. 😁 This could potentially turn into a total nightmare.
Arthur Hill2 said:Paul is looking like a very strong bet for the Clippers tonight. Honestly, at 1.65, those odds seem pretty generous for a squad that has only managed a single loss at Madison Square Garden since their new coach took over. I guess we'll see. 🤔

So, they’re actually giving up their home-court advantage right in the first round? That’s a bold move, I suppose. I’ll need that data for my analysis as soon as possible.😍
I suppose Griffin is about to take over now. 🤷 Last night, even with Chris Paul dropping 36 points, he only managed to dish out four assists. I guess that’s just how the math worked out, maybe.

Edith Piaf: You can't even manage to delete a post on this forum fast enough before someone already starts quoting it. 😁
If you ask me, it’s not even a matter of whether they can get him; it seems like they don't actually want him. They had a golden opportunity last night to make a move, yet they just sat on their hands. Even with those two combined for 70 points, apparently, that still wasn't enough to satisfy them. I guess we're just watching them pass on easy wins.
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
He knows how to sting, but only when he feels like it.
Congrats, man—you finally got it, on a day I’d honestly rather just forget ever happened.
Anyway, what's the deal today with one of these clubs? 😁 You probably know which one I mean 😂 Honestly, none of these teams are doing much better than the others lately; it’ll probably be just as much of a scoring disaster as that Lakers vs. Celtics game last night 🤣
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
The home-field advantage is determined EXCLUSIVELY by the win count. This means you could theoretically clinch a division with 40 wins, only to face someone in the first round who finished with 41—and because they have that extra win, the home-field advantage belongs to them. 😉

To build on what Dana Baker2 was saying:
Logic suggests that Utah will play a cautious game, aiming for the win, which usually means tightening up the defense. However, neither team really knows how to play a grind-it-out defensive style, so I suspect we’re looking at an over here.
With that big trio gone, taking Miami under 88 feels like a pretty interesting play.
The same could be said for Sacramento under 101; that looks like a solid value bet.
On the other hand, Golden State under 96 is cutting it a bit too close for my liking.
Atlanta under 98 also sounds like a decent option.
Oh, and I've got one more parlay running.😁
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Atlanta-LAC under 193. This is one of those matchups where you honestly never know which way either team is going to swing. Just a month ago, these two were stuck in a low-scoring grind with only 178 points between them. LAC plays a completely different game on the road compared to when they're at home, too. They’re sitting in 4th place right now, but if they slip up, they could lose that crucial home-court advantage against the Grizzlies—which would be a massive headache, especially with the Madison game tomorrow. A win today would probably solve all that stress. For those feeling a bit more adventurous, I’d say go with the over, since Atlanta seems pretty locked into that 5th seed in the East.

It doesn't really matter; those picks aren't anything I'd recommend anyway.
I actually have a 1x position on NVIDIA. This time, things are looking different. By the way, are you truly that certain NVIDIA won't break past $89? 😉 edit: okay, maybe it won't 😢
I really shouldn't start complaining about the trades I passed on when I could have taken them—or worse, end up going live just to make my track record look even more pathetic. 😁 The stake was small enough that I'm not genuinely stressed about it, I'll repeat that.

It’s always interesting how everyone suddenly finds their voice and develops such strong opinions the second the game kicks off.☕

Dana Baker2 said:Do you think the Charlotte Bobcats need to pull off a massive upset at some point?🤣

I suppose there isn't much to say here. 😁
Read this quickly before they delete us. 😁
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
I’ve already 😂 since you said "it's a blowout" 👍
And then they end up in Washington with a score of 100-101. 🤣
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Dana Baker2 said:I ended up taking those 4 at the end, though I'm not quite sure what else to cut.😁
I was betting on the over for the last 6 head-to-head matchups, not this current version of Memphis!

Haha, you were the one asking what to take out. If you'd asked about Portland, man, you wouldn't be in this spot.
🤦 You didn't really explain the over part clearly either. 😁
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Eh, I suppose it doesn't matter much; the stakes aren't particularly high, and given how good the offer was, it probably wouldn't have been a mistake to take it.
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Dana Baker2 said:Which looks better to you for the Warriors—the over or the spread?

The over, I suppose, since that's what I ended up taking myself.
Though, to be fair, I did play the spread indirectly by also having the Charlotte Bobcats under. 😁
But it’s been bugging me lately; I remember hitting an under on the Memphis-GSW 98 game. Now I look at how Dallas put up 182 right after that, and then Portland went over 180 last night. It seems almost impossible.
NBA Betting: Vol. 2 in Betting Forum ·
Dana Baker2 said:I know I wrote that myself, but I'm a bit confused—what exactly are you referring to when you say 101-100?😕 What exactly are you getting at here?

You’re out here making all these predictions, but once Indiana and Milwaukee end up as heavy underdogs, I’ll just step in and bet that the game in D.C. finishes with a score like 100-101.
I have to admit, I was feeling a little bit of anxiety around the mid-way point of the first quarter when we were sitting at 15 or 16, but I suppose I’m not too worried anymore.
And my other main pick just slipped through my fingers. It was all over.
If I could just play purely for my own high-stakes picks without anyone else getting in the way, that would be ideal.

Well, things have finally settled down in Indiana, I suppose. 😁
