Richard Walker38 said:not to listen to that annoying singing or all the "Grazie Ragazzi" and "Beautiful machine" stuff

Vroom vroom!! What a car! HUGE FERRARI!

🙄🙄
Such a bizarre reason for Lando's DNF. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it in Formula 1 before.
Looks like Gasly is on the hards now. Lando Norris DNF.

Look at Vettel—he’s practically cutting off the other cars' lines 😲 I don't think we'll see anything more from him; he seems to have become the most emotionally volatile driver out there—if you can even call it that 🤕
How late can you actually push the braking in a Red Bull? 😳
Let's go Gasly—go get him, Richard!!

It looks like everyone else is on softs, while he's stuck on hards, I guess. 🤷

Richard Walker38 said:It seems that when Max makes a move, the penalty is perfectly justified—but if Sebastian Vettel does the exact same thing and gets a legitimate penalty, suddenly everyone thinks it shouldn't happen. I guess they just want to tweak the rules to keep Mercedes from winning too much, maybe just to make things more interesting for us.

It seems Vettel fans love seeing everyone else get penalized—except him. At least that much is clear. 🤷

Attends one single Grand Prix and suddenly he thinks he’s some kind of expert—ego's inflated to a ridiculous degree, I guess. 🎉
Charles probably needs a whole lot more Chocolate before he can even dream of naively trying to chase down Lewis Hamilton.

mellowtiger83 said:Who exactly are you trying to impress with these predictions? I guess it doesn't really matter.

You.

mellowtiger83 said:It seems important to note that he was unfairly penalized today—which, I guess, means the win was essentially stripped from the rightful winner.

The penalty seems fair—deserved, even. Honestly, anything short of another Mercedes-Benz win today would feel like a real injustice; Lewis Hamilton didn't make a single mistake, which is quite the contrast to Sebastian Vettel. It feels a bit off—I guess you have to wonder where the fairness lies in punishing someone who drove a flawless race while rewarding the one who stumbled.

mellowtiger83 said:Even Lewis Hamilton was pushing him toward that top step on the podium—I guess.

What else can one really do when things go that way—I guess? Sebastian Vettel played it a bit too safe with that paper-thin strategy—I guess.? 😁

mellowtiger83 said:I mentioned that Senna keeps to his line—hugging the inside edge almost to the very limit—if you’re thinking back to Senna into Prost at Suzuka into the first corner.

So, you're lying now, too—I guess.

Not quite—you wrote that Senna turned right (which somehow led to him colliding with Prost, who was on his left). I'll send you a link later; I don't really feel like digging for it right now.
Listen to David Croft over here—he's already hyping up Richard's massive start and how he might give Lewis Hamilton a run for his money 🤣 🤣
Brian Campbell36 said:The start should be interesting—Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc, and Lujo! 🎉

Where is all this optimism coming from? 🐔

mellowtiger83 said:It wasn't even close, let alone identical—feel free to drop a link if you actually have one.🤦

Max went vertical, essentially just steering to block the line.

The corner configuration isn't even the same, the angle was different, and the loss of control wasn't even comparable.

But to you, it’s identical.🙏

mellowtiger83, you're always so "objective and realistic"—you really just see whatever fits your narrative, like when you claimed Ayrton Senna turned right and slammed into Alain Prost on his left. Arguing with you feels pretty pointless.😁

By your logic, the appropriate penalty for Max at the US Grand Prix 2018 would be a bullet to the head, yet today, Sebastian Vettel should probably get an extra five points instead of a penalty for the exact same thing.

fadedpanther51 said:That was pure grit from Max, all in the heat of battle. And what did he end up getting penalized with?

Five seconds, just like Sebastian today. There's no difference, really.🤷

I’m predicting a mental breakdown before the season ends—much like last year when he fell apart after losing a certain win (Sponsored by FedEx) 🐔

Don't embarrass yourself.

Your arguments are—well, they're something else. 👍

fadedpanther51 said:What’s all this debate above—was Ayrton Senna intentionally ramming Alain Prost?

Not quite. I was just following up on how Mario—who is a guy I actually quite like, mind you, despite our little "clash" here 😁—tends to see only what he wants to see. For instance, his take was that Prost was turning left and slamming into Senna from the right side; then Mario called me out for lying, so I ended up quoting his own words back to him just so he could stay stuck in his own logic 😍

Lewis is dominating once again! 🙏 He’s really showing everyone why he's arguably the best driver on the grid right now 🙏 Just smooth and flawless—from start to finish.

Max is proving yet again why he's the second-best driver out there 🙏

Lance Stroll managed to grab some points 🙏

Sebastian Vettel takes third 🤣

Pierre Gasly is having another bit of a disaster 🤦

mellowtiger83 said:That thing at Suzuki wasn't even close—unless you're just imagining things.

Nobody's claiming it was similar because it wasn't; it was identical.

Honestly, cosmiccyclist8, I didn't even remember he existed—he’s on my ignore list—until I saw him quoted over by stormyviper2 🤦

Kyle Edwards5 said:To me, this isn't at all the same situation as today. Max was already defending himself against the chicane, and he arguably did this intentionally because there was no other way to defend—he wouldn't have made the corner normally otherwise.
Entering the chicane, Kimi was roughly...

Sebastian Vettel lost the rear entering the corner where he wasn't directly defending from Lewis Hamilton. Entering the turn, he was at least two car lengths
away from Vettel's rear wheels. Chuck didn't even completely shut him out the way Max did to Kimi...

He couldn't fully shut him out because Lewis could only go into the wall (unlike Kimi, who actually had some "space" off-track). The initial setup isn't identical, obviously, but the outcome is. Penalties are based on the final result, not how things started 🤷

mellowtiger83 said:I've watched them all a hundred times.

Then you probably need to look closer—or maybe just turn up the volume and actually listen instead of just watching.
I guess the anthem in the USA might be one of the most underwhelming ones out there—not counting anything in Africa, anyway.
