It’s such an earworm, really. The guys managed to pack so much into a tiny two-and-a-half-minute window, creating this creative, original soundscape with simple, almost Dadaist lyrics, all while delivering a clear message... plus, they just brighten everyone's mood with that energy and those little jokes! And honestly, isn't this better than the total sob stories we've been sending to the Eurovision Song Contest for the last few decades? This thing has become infectious for everyone, kids and adults alike... you see foreigners humming along to a language they don't even understand, and you have to admit, it’s just exceptionally well-made.

Just the other day at a bookstore in New York, people were greeting us with "EU!" and even my mom—who’s over sixty and doesn't exactly have a knack for this kind of music—told me she can't stop humming 😁 and that she's actually having a blast with it, even if the performance and the lyrics gave her a bit of a shock at first... It’s nice to look back on some of those great old-school jokes that were perfect for the moment:

Now, regarding the actual quality of the trolling... it's okay, I guess. Reminds me of a childhood friend of mine. He rarely had good jokes, so when he finally landed one that worked, he’d repeat it until it wasn't funny anymore...

Fifteen years ago, watching them in third-rate bars when they were doing that whole firecracker bit, they were hilarious. Today? They're just exhausting, trying so hard to be original with this unoriginal vibe...

From a musical or stage perspective, there’s absolutely nothing spectacular here for those of us who have followed them for years. Of course, for the audience of this silly competition, it feels "wow" and edgy. And yeah, screw Putin, they're so cool. But they aren't. They're just riding the same wave as everyone else who was cheering from balconies three years ago. And coming from someone who wouldn't dream of justifying or downplaying blatant aggression... well, you know. But you have to separate certain things.

All in all, I wish them the best of luck. If a win makes them happy, it'll make me happy too... just for their sake.

There isn’t some alternate dimension out there where even a tiny fraction of civilian loss can be justified in this—or any—war, regardless of whether you think it started a few days ago or eight years back... But honestly, the actual quality of the posts and the discussions really comes down to everyone participating right now (like yesterday)...

That’s true, and I realize I shouldn't be the first one nagging about a thread going quiet, but man, time is just an issue... To actually sit down and write a coherent post that makes sense, you have to listen to the whole album, and then craft a review that isn't just a bunch of self-indulgent filler sentences—so in my opinion, it's better to just lurk and read rather than post something subpar and ruin the vibe of the thread.

Suburbia was one of those forum members who was just such a joy to read... so eloquent yet somehow managed to stay concise. He never really rambled on, yet he had this way of packing so much meaning into such tiny snippets of text. With him gone, this PDF has definitely lost its spark...
