Republican Party - General Discussion
in Political Scene ·
Exclusive Scoop: A high-ranking Republican Party official just landed a seat on the Amtrak board right before retirement, and he’s already cooked up a brilliant little scheme to pull his son into a paycheck alongside him.
To make sure his kid gets the job without anyone being able to point a finger, he followed every single rule in the book, even checking in with the Conflict of Interest Commission to ensure everything looked perfectly legitimate.
It honestly feels like there's no limit to what they can get away with, because at this point, they really just do whatever they want.

The big ceremony is set to go down on January 6th, 2020.
I think it's pretty wonderful that Dylan and Paris Brosnan, the sons of actor Pierce Brosnan, are serving as this year's Golden Globes ambassadors.

Ricky Gervais will be stepping in as the host for the night, which should be quite entertaining.
