stormyrider28 said:I honestly don't see what the big deal is with that one post of mine? Like, if my writing style wasn't totally identical, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind, but it felt just like reading Brenda Gonzalez12's posts and I was being totally upfront about that. It’s super obvious all the time, but I didn't feel like bringing it up before... but now I am. And hey, look, even this other user thought that the post you wrote was actually from Brenda Gonzalez12 too
Can't you see that others are noticing it too? And you're still trying to kick people off the thread just like we already saw Brenda Gonzalez12 doing. So why are you acting surprised when people get suspicious when the writing style and the attitude are exactly the same?
And if my one post is such a massive problem, then fine, I'll start dropping your posts right now where you attack people by calling them clones... there are way more of yours than my one little post.. but I'll "accidentally" only post two links for now. I've got plenty more though, so I'll drop them later regardless of whether you think you have enough dirt on me.
So basically, while you're attacking me for this, you're doing the exact same thing—and I've given you two examples, which is twice as much as you've done.
Now I'm asking you, and I'm asking the moderators—is it really a bigger issue when people express doubt like me and that user did in a single post, or is it the massive problem of these nasty, vile posts that pop up at least ten times a day all over this subforum, usually coming from the same handful of people?.so here are just a few recent examples
I have plenty more of these, but I'm not gonna dump them all at once.
Basically, it's always the same old story and you can see for yourselves that they're still the biggest problem on this sub...Insults, trolling, going totally off-topic and people like that who don't have a single post that actually relates to the topics at hand - NOT A SINGLE ONE - just constantly attacking others. It’s so obvious your whole profile was built just to troll on Alternative; anyone can see that if they just take a peek at your history over there - every single one of them is just aimed at picking fights and being toxic, you haven't written anything on Alternative that wasn't completely off-topic. It's the exact same deal with Linda Moore51 and Al dente, nothing but trolling and insults... if the mods just checked their posts on Alternative, everything would be crystal clear immediately.
Brenda Gonzalez12 only shows up to pick fights, and in the middle of all that bickering, they might throw in something that vaguely touches the topic, if nothing else, just to stir the pot and insult the people actually discussing the subject but you don't have a single off-topic post on the entire Alternative subforum.
And we all realized a long time ago that this constant insulting from the same group of people is the biggest issue on Alternative, and it happens because there just isn't any moderation. I'm really hoping this gets sorted out soon so things like this finally stop... I mean, I could honestly open three new threads a day here just to report insults and rule-breaking, but I just don't feel like it since I've seen that nobody ever takes action anyway; instead, the thread just gets closed, and it feels pointless to bother the mods and admins when I believe they're already trying to find a solution and we shouldn't just nag them... so I'm asking the admins to please consider finally appointing a moderator for Alternative who will strictly enforce the rules fairly for everyone, and then all of this will be fixed.
That "forum girl" is basically spinning fairy tales for toddlers at this point.
Honestly, what that woman thinks carries absolutely zero weight with me. And if you're wondering why, let me lay it out for you.One day she drifted into the thread, playing this part where she was totally uninterested in any kind of drama, acting like she just wanted some friendly advice for a family member. But then, just to...
She played the part of the neutral bystander perfectly. To everyone's shock, she started firing shots from both sides of the fence. She had been tearing apart Elizabeth Jackson’s methods, acting like they were completely beneath her, only to have this sudden, miraculous epiphany where she realizes his approach is actually pretty brilliant—so much so that her brother is planning to start following them himself.
So then it was...
It looks like the hunt is officially on. Some of the users here—Brenda Gonzalez12, for instance—were basically treating people like punching bags, just relentlessly jumping down their throats.
Oh, please. Now suddenly this same "forum regular"—who supposedly couldn't care less about any kind of drama or conflict—has transformed herself into some kind of internet martyr and local hero overnight. Honestly, the rest of the story is as predictable as a rerun on basic cable.
And since I already know you’re going to jump down my throat with some predictable line like, "Oh, so you only came to Reddit to pick fights," I figured I'd just get ahead of the curve. Let me save us both the breath: I actually joined this community to read and learn about different dietary lifestyles—for instance, getting a handle on the whole raw food thing. And do you have any idea, my dear friends, what actually awaited me in that thread—and honestly, on this entire sub—once I finally decided to dive in?
What a complete waste of time. From the very first day I stepped foot in this place, it’s been nothing but insults, blatant lies, and straight-up slander.
The only kind of "wisdom" you can actually pick up in a place like that is stuff like this:

People just don't seem to grasp it, but honestly... If you really think about it, plants probably sit at the absolute peak of the consciousness hierarchy. Think about it: animals just exist in this state of constant, unconditional love while literally sustaining our entire existence. They live entirely in the moment, overflowing with affection and finding genuine joy in the smallest possible things. They seem to have this permanent, direct line to some higher spiritual plane, just completely surrendered to the flow of life, moving exactly how the universe guides them. It’s only after you look at that kind of existence that you can even begin to make sense of humans.
You’d have to be incredibly self-centered and completely devoid of empathy to actually believe the opposite.
These kinds of beliefs really stem from this deep-seated conviction we have that intelligence—specifically that narrow, academic kind used to ace IQ tests and solve those little logic puzzles—is the absolute peak of consciousness. But honestly, if you look at it closely, being constantly stuck in that loop of analytical overthinking actually pulls a person away from true awareness. It creates this dependency on pure logic that distances us from actually experiencing life and grasping truth in its most direct, visceral sense. Instead of expanding our perspective, all that constant mental processing just ends up shrinking our sense of consciousness.
It’s honestly hilarious to watch how people spend years obsessing over meditation, all in some desperate attempt to reach an "animalistic" state of being, when they could probably just go take a hike in the Rocky Mountains or sit in a park for twenty minutes and get the same result. If someone actually managed to ascend to the level of plant consciousness, we’d probably just call that enlightenment.
