Oh, it’s true—she has such a wild imagination :-) I've actually seen her work, and man, it's pure art!

Yeah, from what I’ve heard lately, that surgery is a success about 90% of the time—we're talking hearing improvements of over 10 dB post-op. Only about 1% of cases actually see things get worse. It really just comes down to who’s performing the procedure—honestly, there aren't many top-tier ear surgeons in the US who you can truly trust. If you're looking, I can definitely give you some recommendations for a world-class 🙂

I wasn't there for the actual surgery myself—but a colleague of mine actually wrote her thesis on this exact topic, so she spent a ton of time working with patients dealing with otosclerosis. Looking through some old files, it looks like the procedure is incredibly effective. How much hearing loss are we talking about here? And what did your tympanogram show?
Why not just hit up that Hedgehog print shop right by the main post office? They can whip those up for you 🙂
My husband is honestly such an amazing guy—really one of the best—but I still can't help feeling pretty embarrassed about it. The very first time it happened, I felt like I had just landed on Mars 😂

Any idea how long the waitlist is? And... any recommendations?

I have no clue about the wait times—honestly, I'm in the dark there—but I’d highly recommend Dr. Bačić. He’s an absolute pro.

Maybe 🙂
Casey Brooks39 said:I’m only eighteen, and while I realize I might technically be too young to be making lifelong declarations, I know one thing for certain: having children is just not in my future. It honestly gets under my skin when my friends try to lecture me, insisting that I can't possibly know what I want yet or that I’ll inevitably change my mind down the road. It’s exhausting. For me, this isn't some passing phase; I feel this way today, and I have no doubt I'll feel exactly the same way ten or fifteen years from now.

If you understand your own reasons and you're at peace with them, then that's all that matters—nobody else gets a say in your life. 😉 Sure, people change, but if that's just who you are, it’s unlikely. Maybe a kid happens along the way—maybe not. At the end of the day, you're the one who knows yourself best.
Looking at your photos, you look maybe around 15 or 16 to me. How tall are you? Honestly—why not just hold off on the surgery for another two or three years until you're fully grown? I know plenty of girls whose chests didn't really finish developing until much later on. 🙂

You nailed it—everything you said is spot on 🙂 As long as you stick to that plan, you’ll be fine. Otherwise, you might as well just chew gum during the flight since that also helps even out the pressure.

Look, the doctor's got a point—if things take a turn, they might have to close up the perforation, but honestly, they usually only go that route if it's a larger issue.

It won't break, but I have to ask—why hasn't Bubnjic been fixed yet?
What size are we talking about here?

Check out Pimpinell. The food is incredible—I actually used them for catering for 40 people $800 plus 2 servers $167.

Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to rent some chair covers here in San Diego, and does anyone have an idea of what the typical rental costs look like?

I don't have a single doubt about them🙂

Have you guys seen Dr. Ivancevic? He’s also over at Firulama.
I don't think I could ever do that. Honestly, I'd be way too terrified. Mental illness is hands down one of the hardest things anyone can go through 😢

The food was incredible—super fresh and everything was just five bucks! 🙂 By the way, we ended up grabbing a beer in the hall since it was pouring rain outside.

St. Croix is such an incredible venue—I just walked back from the banquet about half an hour ago. It would be so nice if 🙂
