you've really started making some noise in the media lately—honestly, hats off to all the hard work you're putting in. I'm looking forward to when we finally get our membership cards in hand

We actually picked up a laminator yesterday, so we should be able to get everything mailed out to your addresses within the next week.

Bloodwork, urine tests, abdominal scans, head scans... everything looks perfect. Honestly, it’s almost too good to be true. But the biopsy showed they pulled a 5x3x2 cm tumor from the neck. They mentioned popcorn cells, CD 20 positive, CD 3 positive, some kind of Ki-1 lymphoma...
And that first lump wasn't lonely; now there's more at the neck (again), the groin...
All this happening within a single month.
They did a puncture on the new lump—results are due Friday. I read somewhere that a biopsy is the only way to get a definitive diagnosis, yet we still don't have one. What on earth are they waiting for?

Look, the only way you're getting an answer to that is if you storm through the entire hospital and grab a doctor by the collar the second you see them, demanding clear answers.

Come on, people, you need to be more decisive and aggressive when dealing with doctors. They aren't going to walk up to you and start explaining exactly what you need to know, and nobody else is going to step in and lobby on your behalf. Forget about that; it's a total utopia. When we talk about "fighting cancer" or "taking the bull by the horns," we're talking about every single obstacle that comes bundled with the disease itself. You have a chance to tap into your assertive side—not being rude, just being bold and persistent until you get what you came for. Use it.😉

On a lighter note, Hodgins is highly treatable! I have a friend who beat it when she was 16, and now at 28, she's happily looking forward to her future.😍
For those of you dealing with brain tumor diagnoses, this link points to some incredibly compelling info regarding experimental treatments being tested at a clinic over in France. Just make sure you scroll down toward the end of the thread.

nimblebison17 said:Andol 🤷(I know it’s nothing special, but it’s all I’ve got right now)
How much does that syrup cost, and does it taste like absolute garbage? 😛

I actually think it tastes alright—it has this slight honey and herbal vibe to it. Honestly, you should just grab some Lekadol instead; it won't wreck your stomach the way Andol does. Just take it every two hours until your fever breaks.
For the cough, though, nothing beats sage tea poured over some caramelized sugar. It hits me hard, but man, it clears my lungs out completely.👍

I'm finally homeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! After 17 long days, I've finally made it back. I wanted to let you all know that I'm doing pretty well—the SURGERY was a success, and the pathology report is looking encouraging. I am so incredibly happy...
I'll be posting more details over the next few days...
Kisses, Dina :-)

Oh my God, what an absolutely beautiful day😍! Seriously, just yesterday I was talking to slyseal28 about how worried we were since we hadn't heard a peep from you. We were sending nothing but good vibes your way on the day of the surgery😉
Dina, I am beyond thrilled that you're back with us and feeling okay. Get some rest, then catch us up when you can🙂

for the record, everyone, I am seriously not that moody and my ego isn't actually that massive🙈

Listen, thank you all so much—honestly, none of this would be happening without you🙏. We have a long road ahead of us, but we’ll clear the path together. Thanks for standing by us and helping us help you😉

Icelandic moss isn't a magic cure, and you don't need a recipe👍 What are you taking to bring that fever down?

You’ll even get to hear some commentary from Dr. Mirando Mrsić, the doctor who joined up with us. Make sure to tune in!

I'm just crossing my fingers that everything looks professional and we don't end up looking like total fools.🙈
Just so we're clear: if anyone said they were going to join after this and then backs out, I'm coming for them with a gun to their head!!!🙂 The camera and I have a mutual distaste for one another, so I had to swallow a massive amount of pride standing in front of it—all for your sake, my dear friends.😍

At the same time, I’ve been dealing with this weird pain in my throat—not like tonsil issues, but deeper down. I can't tell if it's just the flu drying everything out or something else entirely. It's actually getting to the point where it feels like food can't even make its way down properly once I take a bite.

Just grab some Septolete with an anesthetic. When my throat was killing me, my wife picked some up for me at the drugstore and they actually worked wonders.
Linda Peterson37 said:I’ve seen people sharing all sorts of experiences with Mannitol, and they’re giving him that too... can someone please tell me something specific about this drug? I haven't even had the chance to dig through all the pages yet...

I'm just devastated. I break down several times a day, and my stomach is in knots because it's so hard to see him like this... I just want to see him get out of bed again..
We’re also giving him some alternative things that top experts here in America recommended, but I can't shake the feeling that there’s still something more that needs to be done—that we *must* do something...
I’m angry at everyone and no one at the same time because he’s the one going through this...

Mannitol is a sugar-based solution most commonly used to treat brain edema caused by physical trauma. When dealing with brain swelling that's a side effect of a tumor, it works, but it has a yo-yo effect—the swelling recedes suddenly and then surges back—so it’s usually paired with dexamethasone, essentially steroid therapy.
If that swelling takes the form of hydrocephalus—basically a massive buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain's ventricles—it can be drained via a procedure called stereotactic surgery. They make a tiny hole in the skull (just 1-2 mm wide) and use a needle to drain the fluid. This is a standard procedure out here, but our doctors won't touch it unless it's an absolute emergency or if you practically beg them. Once that’s done, the improvement is instant. My mother was practically in a coma when they did it for her. The procedure takes maybe twenty minutes, and by the time she was back in her room, she was completely lucid. It made follow-up therapy so much easier; they were able to drop her dose from 24 mg down to just 8 mg of dexamethasone, which was enough for her to function.

I know you’re angry and heartbroken that this is happening to him, but unfortunately, this is just what happens—it happened before, it's happening now, and it will happen to many others. There are no rules. Cancer strikes the good and the bad equally. It just happens. Try to process that within yourself, because dwelling on the "why" will drain you dry and leave you unable to function. I’m telling you this from my own thick, bitter experience. The sooner you accept the reality of the situation, the easier it will be to handle everything and do the best you can to help him. And believe me, when it comes to brain tumors—because that disease is such a curse—the family helps more than the doctors ever will. Put your faith in Divine providence. Even when you think things can't get any worse, they can, but both the suffering and the pain can be eased. So, believe that things will get better.

Carl Alvarez572 said:I finally kicked this flu, but ever since it hit me about three weeks ago, I haven’t been able to eat a thing. Everything seems fine while I’m busy prepping breakfast or lunch—my eyes are watering just thinking about it—but the second I actually take that first bite, it feels like my throat just clamps shut and nothing will go down. I’ve already dropped about 9 pounds. Honestly, I’m not even worried about the weight because I’m actually heading toward my goal weight anyway, but the sheer length of time this is dragging on is starting to freak me out. I’m making sure to stay hydrated and drink plenty of fluids, and I don't feel particularly sick, though I do get a little dizzy here and there. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? I could really use some insight.🤷

Stick to tea with honey. Try making some banana smoothies, take a B-complex vitamin, and maybe give Steel Dynamics a shot. You're just run down, and once you replenish, your appetite will come back. Get out of the house and get some fresh air.😉

Now I’m curious about the logistics—where should I actually go for this, what kind of damage am I looking at financially, and all that good stuff. Who is the right professional to contact regarding a chiropractor?

There are plenty of them out there. Here you go. I can't see any link here. You forgot to include it. The forum debate is heating up, and everyone’s getting their names thrown into the ring.
Regarding acupuncture, take a look at this. I can't see any link here. You forgot to include it. sa foruma.
Send out some PMove requests. I’ve been noticing the same handful of people popping up all over the boards lately.👍

Look, if we were talking about something life-threatening like a tumor, those previous tests you had would have flagged it by now. Plus, if that were the case, your condition would have spiraled significantly since last July.
Have you looked into seeing a chiropractor? I remember stumbling upon someone's story online—I can't quite recall where—about how they dealt with constant, nagging headaches, and a chiropractor ended up being the fix for them.
You should also give acupuncture or acupressure massage a shot.

Dante is pretty heavy-duty. Beyond that, I’d suggest leaning into fermented foods, since Candida thrives in an alkaline environment. Load up on things like Greek yogurt and anything packed with probiotic cultures. It’s also entirely possible you’re dealing with a yeast infection. If you’re feeling itchy or seeing a cottage cheese-like discharge, grabbing some Monistat vaginal suppositories and an external cream should do the trick.

Seven months ago, my best friend's mother was diagnosed with a malignant astrocytoma—a star-shaped brain tumor. It was about 4.9cm, so they performed surgery to remove it, but it doesn't look like they got all of it. She had a rough recovery; she couldn't move and needed physical therapy, but thankfully, she pulled through. However, just a week ago—seven months after the initial surgery—an MRI showed the tumor has returned and spread. It’s grown to 5cm now!!!
I’ve been looking into Dr. Arsenic and Paladin in Washington, D.C., as well as that alternative practitioner from Mexico you guys mentioned... How can I get in touch with them? If anyone has any experience or advice on what to do, or what alternative treatments you’re using, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

To the guy whose mom passed away—please accept my deepest condolences. Just remember, death is only the beginning. Hang in there...

slypanther332, check your PMs. I sent you a private message.🙂

fadedmason said:Where can I get these markers tested? Can I go through insurance with a referral, or should I just pay out of pocket?

You can do it either way. If you use a referral from your doctor, you'll likely end up at a hospital where you might be stuck waiting because they don't always have the reagents in stock. If you go private, expect to shell out around $50. Just so we're clear, CA-125 is a tumor marker used to look for ovarian issues, though it can also react to other growths within the abdomen. It’s not a foolproof diagnostic tool—it can throw false positives, sometimes triggered by things like endometriosis (though based on the symptoms you listed, that doesn't seem to be the case here). Think of it less as a final answer and more as a compass; if it flags something, it tells you it's time to stop guessing and start digging deeper with more intensive testing.

Melissa Brown said:Hey girls!!
I'm dealing with the exact same thing—I notice this tiny bit of spotting almost every time I'm right in the middle of my cycle (which usually runs about 30 days).

Does this mean I'm actually ovulating and hitting my fertile window??
My boyfriend and I mostly rely on tracking our fertile and non-fertile days when we're intimate, so this is pretty important to figure out...
Please let me know if you guys have dealt with this too. 😉

Spotting during ovulation can definitely happen.
But honestly? Don't trust the "calendar method" or tracking fertile days; plenty of people have ended up with an unplanned pregnancy because they thought they were safe. Just take the pill or use a condom.

All this random bleeding isn't exactly "normal"—it’s often just a red flag for a hormonal imbalance that needs addressing. You should run to your doctor ASAP, get a full hormone panel, and find out what's actually going on. Sometimes, things settle down pretty easily once you start being on oral contraceptives.
Oleander poisoning: What to do? in Health ·

Wrong. Take a look at the Wikipedia entry on this. It clearly states the toxin is present throughout the entire plant, and there are even poisonous compounds they haven't even fully mapped out yet.
