I even went to see my doctor because my stomach was killing me and I had these sharp pains in my gut and chest...and all they did was hand me some antacids for gas..which don't do jack. Nothing helps..my belly just keeps growing..especially when I sit down..it feels like I'm way further along than I actually am and it's such a pain when I'm sitting..I'm naturally super thin so it's incredibly obvious and it's really messing with me..I just have no clue what's going on
Melissa Young53 said:I need some help here. Is it actually possible for an OB-GYN to miss a pregnancy on an ultrasound if I've been pregnant for at least two months?
neonstag63 said:It probably won't affect you much. 🤣
Have you tried setting a daily alarm for the exact same time every day?
How many pills do you have left in the pack? Honestly, it usually works the same way even if it's been more than 12 hours since you were supposed to take it, but... maybe double-check with your doctor or someone at the pharmacy first just to be safe. 😉
Andrew Richardson14 said:I accidentally cut my wrist with a razor yesterday. It wasn't a deep cut, but man, it just wouldn't stop bleeding... After about five minutes, I stepped outside for a second, and my little dog—who's usually out in the yard anyway—swiped his tail right across the wound. I jumped back immediately and scrubbed the area with alcohol several times. I used some antibiotic ointment and a bandage, then a few hours later, I disinfected it again and slapped on a fresh patch.
Do you think there's any chance of an infection here???
The thing is, I'm scheduled for surgery under general anesthesia in a couple of weeks, and now I'm spiraling thinking something might have gotten into my bloodstream. To make matters worse, the last time I got a tetanus shot was probably back in high school...🤦🤦
Look, I’m just gonna say it because someone has to. Everything feels like a cheap knockoff lately. You walk down the street, look at the news, check your feed—it's all just recycled garbage wrapped in shiny plastic. Everyone's out here acting like they discovered fire when they're really just playing with matches in a rainstorm. It's exhausting. Honestly, if you aren't constantly looking over your shoulder for the next big disappointment, you aren't paying attention. Life isn't some cinematic masterpiece; it's mostly just waiting in line and dealing with people who think their opinion matters more than reality. Just my two cents. Take it or leave it. Whatever. kaže:
Look, I usually hit day four of my period and call it a day, but honestly? If you aren't seeing anything, just keep taking them. And seriously—if you’ve got a gut feeling something is up, go grab a pregnancy test. Don't play games with it. 😉
neonstag63 said:That’s perfect! Honestly, just double-check how many pills you have left in the pack—that way you’ll know if you need to take a break or just keep going—and you’re all set. 🙂
Look, let’s be real for a second—everything about this whole situation just feels incredibly off. I’ve been sitting here staring at this for way too long, and honestly? It’s exhausting. People act like there’s some grand logic behind it all, but there isn't. There’s zero. It’s just noise. Just constant, grating noise designed to make you feel like you’re missing something when, in reality, there’s nothing actually there. I’m telling you, if you go looking for sense in this mess, you’re just wasting your breath. You’re just spinning your wheels in the mud while everyone else pretends they know exactly where the road is going. Newsflash: nobody knows. We’re all just stumbling around in the dark, pretending we have a flashlight. It’s a joke, really. A total, absolute circus. And frankly, I’m over it. I'm just completely done with the pretense. kaže:
Yeah, exactly. Just like that other forum regular who was here before you. Same old story. 😉
Listen, I’m only gonna say this once because I don't have the patience to repeat myself for the slow learners out there. Tips, ladies, tips! Seriously, if you aren't looking for advice, why are you even hanging around here? Get some intel, grab some pointers, just move! This isn't a social club for people waiting for things to happen to them—you gotta go out and get the goods. Move it! 🧐
neonstag63 said:Nah, and you won't either if you don't go overboard with the eating. 😬
I was totally expecting to gain a few pounds or deal with crazy hunger pangs—I mean, who knows—but honestly, nothing like that happened at all...🎉
Maria Fisher46 said:Look, if your total IgA levels are looking normal, then a result like this is totally fine. Here’s the deal: when doctors are hunting for Celiac disease, they're basically scanning for specific IgA-class antibodies. That’s exactly why that total IgA concentration matters so much. If your total IgA is running low, this whole test can give you a false negative. Don't let it trip you up.
Look, in your situation, there’s a bit of a mismatch happening. Your total testosterone is sitting just a hair below the line, but then your free testosterone looks totally fine according to the reference ranges. Usually, you'd expect those two numbers to actually play nice together and align, you know? You gotta keep in mind that in a lot of US labs, measuring total testosterone is way more reliable than trying to calculate free testosterone using SHBG. It's just how the math works out most of the time.
Maria Fisher46 said:Pretty much. My previous answer still stands.
What's the IgA level?

Maria Fisher46 said:Hey there,
Based on everything here, it looks like infectious mononucleosis syndrome, but looking at the serology, the culprit isn't the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Usually, EBV is the main driver, but since your EBV VCA IgG and EBNA IgG came back positive while the EBV VCA IgM was negative—and considering the EA IgG results—it shows you’ve already fought off this specific virus sometime in the past.
Most likely, whatever is causing your current symptoms is a different virus, specifically cytomegalovirus, because the IgM is positive and the IgG is negative. It’s a less common cause of mono, but it definitely does it, which seems to be what's happening in your case.
Take these results to your doctor.
Best regards. 🙂
Listen,
Nowadays, we don't just throw Sinersul (co-trimoxazole) at acute urinary tract infections without an antibiogram first. Resistance among the usual suspects is way too high. That stuff is mostly used for prophylaxis now—you know, just trying to stop infections from coming back in the first place.
If you're still dealing with that nasty smell when you pee and having to run to the bathroom constantly, then yeah, you need more testing.
Everything else looks totally fine and within the normal range. Your progesterone is naturally elevated because you're on Utrogestan.
A direct Coombs test (done via bloodwork) checks if there are antibodies attacking your erythrocytes—your red blood cells. If those antibodies are present, basically your body is tearing apart its own red cells. Once they get destroyed, your Bilirubin levels spike, and that's how you end up with jaundice.
If it turns out to be Gilbert syndrome, there isn't really a "fix" for the jaundice. There's nothing much you can do about it. You should read up more on this thread.
