Edward Howard2 said:It’s entirely plausible that we'll see a wet race where anything can happen. If Nakajima managed to snag those three points, why couldn't Piquet pull off something similar?
True, but let's be honest—Nakajima is driving a much faster car right now.😬
this is just too good 😂😂😂😂😂

RIP 🙏Jimmy Rip🙏🙏
I actually wrote this right when I sat down at my computer; it's just a shame it happened after midnight
It’s hard to believe it’s been forty years since we lost one of the absolute titans of Formula 1, Jim Clark. He was a true gentleman through and through—unbelievably fast, yet he had this incredible, delicate touch with his car. Beyond the cockpit, he was just a genuinely loved figure by everyone who knew him.
While the exact details of what went wrong on that tragic day remain somewhat shrouded in mystery, there is a universal consensus among those who follow the sport: Jimmy didn't make a mistake. Something else went sideways that day, something out of his control.
RIP 🙏🙏🙏
Arthur Doyle70 said:They’re talking about a Ferrari running a Lamborghini engine. I remember reading something about that a while back, and honestly, seeing that headline again really caught me off guard.
Does anyone actually know why Lamborghini pulled out of NASCAR in the first place? If I recall correctly—and even Senna seemed to suggest this—that car would have been a serious contender. Back then, Ferrari was struggling quite a bit with power issues after they moved away from Honda, but the chassis itself was top-tier.
Word on the street is that Chrysler kind of messed up the deal, so Lamborghini never truly made the impact in NASCAR that everyone expected.
It feels like we're seeing a few more interesting pieces than usual lately, specifically some historical ones 👍

If it was your first time ever standing on a podium, wouldn't you probably forget things too? ☕
Arthur Doyle70 said:Look, I know what the GPDA is, and I haven't said a single thing about that organization.☕
So, why on earth would you think my comment isn't linked to Hamilton within the context of the GPDA, but is instead aimed solely at him? 🤷
Arthur Doyle70 said:Honestly, even if he did join up, I suspect he’d just end up being an underdog again, though probably for entirely different reasons.☕
The GPDA is actually one of those useful organizations that every driver ought to dedicate some of their own time to. After all, at the end of the day, they seem to be the only ones truly looking out for safety.
Bradley Nelson2 said:Sure, but they're running with about 600 fewer horses under the hood😁
They’d be lucky to land even one more championship😬

Honestly, if we see the exact same lineup dominating the next few rounds, it’ll finally serve as a clear indicator of who actually lacks the skill to handle a car without all that electronic assistance. It’ll show us who really belongs in F1 and who might be better suited for a seat in a top-tier team elsewhere. I mean, if someone like Nelson Piquet, Timo Glock, or Felipe Massa can't manage their car without traction control, shouldn't they just head down to Formula 2?
They don't even have TC in Formula 2☕
Nicole Reyes97 said:It’s wild how everyone thinks those Japanese drivers are all just kamikazes😁😁
The Japanese really take pride in their deep-rooted traditions and heritage, don't they? 😬
Maybe both of them should just grab a quick shot of sake before they even think about climbing into the cockpit. 😉
Bradley Nelson2 said:Is it Glock or Coulthard? Because if that Red Bull car actually hit a wall seriously, it would have left nothing but a smudge behind. 😲
Then again, you can't deny it was designed by Adrian Newey 😬
stormyviper11 said:It honestly shocked me to see how much damage Timo Glock’s car took just from bouncing through the grass. 😲
You know, it's funny—these cars have been incredibly fragile for years now, yet the drivers always seem to walk away unscathed. What really gets me thinking, though, is how a simple patch of turf can cause thousands of dollars in damage. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? Especially considering how much money a single bad patch of grass can cost a track in maintenance and lost revenue back in the States. 😬
Nicole Reyes97 said:Shouldn't that have been posted in the off-topic section? Well, no big deal, I suppose...😁
So, what exactly is your plan here? Are you aiming for something specific?
That sounds great... so, will I see you there?😂
I’ll definitely be there. I’m planning to head over to the local sports bar in the morning to catch the F1 race, and then I'll probably just head home after that.🙂
You might run into me, though chances are slim that I'll spot you.☕
This Saturday, they're holding the freshman initiation at MIT ☕
