That isn't what we're discussing here—the conversation is actually about the earthquake in Japan 😬, though if you head over to this PDF, you'll find the main thread for nicknames where you can post whatever you like.😉
Edit: Someone beat me to the punch 🙂
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
neonnomad18 said:...well, my partner and I are currently in the middle of a spat—so I really shouldn't be commenting on my own situation here—but from what I've managed to dig up online... apparently, those pains can be quite intense during ovulatory cycles, whereas they might be less noticeable during anovulatory ones... though, of course, that isn't a rule and might not apply to you at all... but I did come across this specific bit of info recently 🤷

I suppose I won't comment on my own case either, though if I go by what people say on the internet—I seem to be almost the exact opposite of the standard narrative—but then again, we're all incredibly different when it comes to this stuff. Since I’m planning to start trying for a baby soon, and because I have PCOS, I track my ovulation pretty religiously; it turns out I tend to have much less painful (or even no pain at all) periods when I actually ovulate compared to when I have an anovulatory cycle or one of my "lazy" cycles—I've actually "caught" ovulation on day 20 of a cycle before, even though the cycle itself wasn't longer, just exactly 30 days 😳. 🙂

Ethan Vaughn8 said:If my boyfriend has klamidija, does that mean he cheated on me, or could he have caught it some other way?

It doesn't necessarily mean he was unfaithful. It is entirely possible that he’s been carrying klamidija for quite some time without even knowing it—that kind of bacteria can be pretty sneaky like that.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything at all, I guess.

This is Anthony:

He’s eight years old and living with cerebral palsy. He doesn't speak, sit, walk, or eat solid food.
His mother is one of our own community members, cosy.
Since both parents lost their jobs, the family is relying entirely on Anthony's disability benefits and the caregiver assistance they receive.
Despite the crushing financial strain and the medical hurdles, they haven't given up—not even for a second. They take him to various therapy sessions, physical exercises, equine therapy, and things like that. And honestly, the progress is there; he used to be unable to sit at all, just lying there, but now he can actually sit up with some support.

The women from the Cosmetics subforum, who have been following his journey for a while now, have already managed to raise funds through donations to get him a wheelchair and a laptop.
Up until this point, Anthony's only way of communicating with the world has been through his eyes.

Now, there is finally an opportunity to get him specialized software that would make communication much easier for him. We are looking at this specific program, which costs about $1733 at Algorithm.
We are going to start a thread over on the Cosmetics forum featuring a sort of auction for various beauty products, where all proceeds will go directly into Anthony's account to fund this software. We are hoping to raise a significant amount, because, let's face it, this child needs so much more than just a computer program.

If anyone has other ideas on how to help, please feel free to reach out to cosy herself. I am certain she would be happy to share all the details regarding Anthony and will truly appreciate any interest shown in helping.
By the way, she has shared all of his medical records, photos, and physician evaluations to ensure everyone knows this is a legitimate cause and not some kind of scam...

Thank you all in advance.

Here is Anthony's account information:
The checking account is in Anthony's name at Zions Bancorporation, account number 234009-3102787845 (Anthony Kovac Levantin, Prince Branimir 2, 21230 Šibenik)
Penicillin allergy in Health ·
I know it’s an uncomfortable situation, but you really have to be explicit about it from now on. It’s unfortunate, but sometimes you just have to speak up—you can't assume they already know. I mean, I can think of at least four or five instances where someone was handed the wrong prescription entirely. It’s just one of those things where you walk into a CVS, pick up what the doctor wrote for you, and then realize—right there at the counter—that you absolutely shouldn't be taking it. And then, of course, you're stuck dealing with the hassle of going back to get it corrected.

The folks over at 60 Minutes are probably going to be rubbing their hands together once our cases start making headlines in the very near future 🤣
I suppose I should crack a joke now and then—after all, this is just a chat thread... we can't spend all our time being so incredibly solemn, right? 😬
Penicillin allergy in Health ·
How on earth did you forget to mention your penicillin allergy to the doctor before they prescribed that treatment?
The reason I’m even asking—and I mean this sincerely—is because I have someone at home who deals with this constantly. They have to explicitly state their allergy every single time, even when dealing with their own primary care physician, despite the fact that their medical records clearly state 'PENICILLIN ALLERGY' in giant, bright red letters.
Please, don't take any risks or try to "tough it out" by taking the meds; next time, you absolutely must make sure to emphasize that penicillin allergy before any prescription is handed over.

THIS — I can’t seem to track down the video (it's adult content, so it isn't showing up, but I suppose I’ll find it 🙂) — honestly, that is just typical 🙏

He he, you naughty girl 😛
I’m genuinely curious—does that actually do anything? And if it does... what’s the sensation like? You know... I think you get what I mean 😍

p.s. I don't have any issues there 😍 so I'm not looking for an actual 'procedure,' but I suppose some firsthand accounts would be quite welcome 🙏

Melissa James70 said:It’s entirely possible they intentionally left out those more complex diagnoses—perhaps just to prevent people from spiraling into full-blown hypochondria.

I mean, I’ve definitely entertained that theory myself, though I suppose that begs the question of what their actual goal would be? 🤷
I wouldn't call myself a hypochondriac, per se, but even this kind of ambiguity is enough to trigger a massive anxiety spiral for anyone prone to obsessing over symptoms. 🤷

I didn't even catch a single one of my actual diagnoses, so I suppose all you hypochondriacs can breathe a sigh of relief. 😬

Honestly, same here. We're clearly just a bunch of depressed souls—that's just how it goes, I guess. 🙂 Today, anyone could probably list a few basic symptoms and claim they fall under the umbrella of being "mildly depressed." But what I find interesting—though perhaps it's just a coincidence—is that it didn't flag a single one of my actual medical conditions either. 🤣

Olivia Diaz3 said:I don't experience any kind of pleasure during sex at all—which, frankly, is incredibly frustrating. I am willing to try almost anything 🤷

I mean, I'm not entirely sure if that would actually solve the underlying issue for you. To be honest, I can't really weigh in since I have no idea how that kind of enhancement works for people who struggle to reach orgasm (unless we're talking about clitoral stimulation, of course). Though, I suppose I would be genuinely curious to know if it helps—if anyone 🙂 please let me know 😁. This actually just reminded me of that one "amazing G-spot" video... man, she practically sprayed everything in sight 😍
You’ve been isolated, just as it says—you have Group B Streptococcus (GBS).
Since we're dealing with a bacterium that can be transmitted sexually, both partners really ought to be tested and treated (assuming you actually have a partner, of course).

In men, this typically leads to inflammation of the prostate, bladder, or the external genitalia, so treatment is definitely necessary.

Those "S" notations next to the potential treatments? That's the result of the antibiogram. It’s a pretty smart way to avoid just guessing which antibiotic to use, which helps prevent the whole issue of antibiotic resistance. Basically, it ensures you get the most effective therapy right away by showing how sensitive this specific strain of GBS is to various drugs. You'll see categories like sensitive (S), intermediate, and resistant.

To put it simply, those "S" marks mean your specific bacteria is sensitive—meaning it should respond to some of the options listed here, such as Zithromax. So, your doctor will likely prescribe something along those lines. 🙂

So, you’ve decided to revive a thread that hasn't seen any activity in seven years—just so you can drop that exact same link for the 15th time (edit: let's be honest, it's practically every single time). We already removed it from your signature, by the way. I suppose there really is a cure for chronic spamming after all.
