Has anything shifted? I noticed the winner wasn't 😁

hell no
those soft-as-baby-food fans are out here digging up every possible excuse for why the race went south again, totally missing the point that the race is over and he isn't winning it back now...😂
cosmicridge5 said:If you ask me, the real headache and the actual culprit behind all this chaos isn't DRS—it’s Pirelli. 😁 Tires. You could really see that playing out yesterday.

As for Ferrari, we’re basically sliding around on ice whenever we're on the hard compounds. We also took a hit yesterday because we burned through too many sets during qualifying. I guess if they could just stop obsessing over front-row starts and actually save some rubber for the race, things might look a little better. At least until they finally figure out how to fix this car, maybe then we won't be getting lapped by everyone else. 🙏 😁

as if Ferrari is the only team out there running on Pirellis... 🤣
Gary Palmer8 said:Alright, he finished 4th.

Alonso is honestly a joke—

the Santander sponsorship basically buys him his seat and that "number one driver" status, but the guy can't even hold his line for a single lap.

🤣

And then they probably pay Weber to just block traffic so this guy can mess everything up and slide into 5th place anyway🤣
Edward Howard2 said:Alonso had an absolute rocket of a start... you can just tell the guy is a total master of his craft... even in a subpar car...

The McLaren crew seems pretty stoked, basically just patting themselves on the back... but here’s the cold, hard truth...

Vettel has stretched his lead to 41 points over Chemist... so what does that actually do for McLaren? Not much.

At the end of the day, finishing the season in second or fifth doesn't mean squat when people only care about the champions... plus, Hamilton just took another massive step backward during this race...

And he had a car that could have actually kept pace with Vettel... he just lacked the guts and the pure skill to pull it off.

😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

God, they're just running in circles again...
Man, if even half of them would just drive the wrong way for once, at least things would get interesting, but instead it's just this... 👎👎👎

Alonso was absolutely brilliant! 🙏
1. In qualifying, he was just two-hundredths behind Sebastian Vettel; everyone else was basically swept aside. A half-second gap in qualifying is a massive advantage.
2. At the start, if it wasn't for a poor launch and Sebastian Vettel's stupid, aggressive behavior, he would have taken the lead immediately. If that had happened, the gaps would have been even wider. Besides, Vettel couldn't do anything against Massa anyway.
3. Once things settled down after the pit stops, he was visibly faster than Massa.
4. One serious attempt at an overtake showed just how lacking Massa's situational awareness was. Alonso let him through. Smart move. Very smart.
5. After Massa laid down the law, he cruised to the finish.

Basically, a great weekend overall and a well-earned win.

I wasn't exactly thrilled by the post-race drama (based on what I'm reading here). I didn't watch much of it, but to me, the whole thing felt like excessive luck and over-the-top celebrating.

Massa drove a great race; I'm glad he managed to snatch those crucial points away from Sebastian Vettel.
Still, I find the misunderstanding of the situation baffling. We could have finished this without all the chaos.
I feel for him on a personal level, but if he can't grasp how things work, then he shouldn't be there.

All in all, a Luxury Ferrari performance.
We need another result like this—or something similar—to prove we're actually making real progress.

if you ask me, Massa had the better start and he would've finished ahead of that whiny little crybaby🤷

You haven't really been paying much attention to Formula 1 lately either.

Honestly, they might as well just nail qualifying and the start and call it a day, seriously...🤣

Personally, though, Alonso has never really done it for me... he's just never been my type of driver...

I never said you were...😉

Thomas Lee7 said:Formula 1 has become a total joke. People need to boycott these races—both in the stands and on TV—so those shameless, rich losers running this circus realize they're just playing games with each other. And guys like Mass? They deserve a leash around their necks for the rest of their lives because he’s lower than the most pathetic dog. Where's his dignity? Where's his competitive spirit? Honestly, what a complete loser.

straight in his checking account 😉

Because back in the day, like before 2000, that was just how things worked...
And honestly, even someone like Sumi at that age would probably find a way to slip past both Barrichello and Eddie... if you know what I mean... 😉

here's the real question
can Ferrari actually go one single race without everything going completely sideways... 😁

Amanda Kelly said:Why on earth should he be embarrassed?

He was faster during practice.
He was half a second faster in qualifying, which is huge for a lap this short.
And he was faster during the race, too—he just made the smart call to back off once he saw how much resistance Massa was giving him. Honestly, he probably should have kept pushing and let things go south. If Felipe can't figure out his job, someone clearly needs to sit him down and explain it to him.

If he was faster during the race
then why didn't he just blast past Massa instead of letting that guy just hold him up...😕

Man, stop whining...😉

what did I even say about the teams... 😕
GP Germany - 07/25/2010 in Formula 1 ·
if they’re gonna act all soft and claim it wasn't their fault, then fine, the team should just go out there and snatch those points back...

can the aero box actually mess with how the car handles on track? 😕
