Alexander Hall43 said:If we're talking about anyone's future, she’s considered "bad influence" herself... if anyone is actually responsible for this mess, it’s the parents first, then everyone else...

I have to disagree there. Seriously. Sometimes people spiral into drugs and massive trouble even when they have a perfect life waiting for them at home. Take my word for it.

And if we are talking about a minor, there is absolutely no other way out than going to the parents. That doesn't mean things will magically fix themselves overnight, but they need to be in the loop. They are the only ones with the power to actually step in right now.

Now, if the person is an adult... honestly, I don't even know what to tell you. 🤷

Regardless, the only person who can truly fix this is her. But she needs some kind of "nudge"—whether that's family pressure, legal intervention, or something else—to finally open her eyes to reality.

Dr. Zdunic - Vinogradska Addiction Center - 212-555-0199 - call them... 👍 (but let's be real, he won't be able to do a single thing until she admits she has a problem and actually asks for help.)

Alright, I’m pulling the trigger tomorrow. I really appreciate everyone here. Your advice was a lifesaver, and I'm seriously grateful for the help. 🙂

I'll let you guys know what they say...
Kenneth Lee16 said:I think I saw a thread about this once... usually caused by blasting music back in the day or working long shifts around loud machinery without proper ear protection, etc...

Health-wise, I’m fine—never had any issues before. But lately, when I’m lying in bed at night, everything is dead quiet and there’s absolutely nothing going on, I start hearing this constant tone in both ears. Honestly, I don't even think I'm "hearing" it so much as it's just stuck in my head.

Has anyone actually heard of or read anything about whether this can be cured?

p.s. if you don't have anything useful to add, just move along—I can hear better than most of you, I'd bet on that.

I actually posted about this a few years ago. Tinnitus. I've been dealing with it since 1993. It’s the same thing—it doesn't feel like it's coming from my ears, it feels like it's originating inside my skull. And everyone who replied telling me there's no cure and that it only gets louder as you age? They were right. Unfortunately. 😢

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You just won the award for Statement of the Year! If we were hanging out in real life right now, you’d see exactly what I’m doing with my hands, but since we aren't, just imagine me waving a massive, oversized novelty check in your face..

Now that we've cleared that up, a word for Grace Richardson20: Tell her parents. Because let's be real, she didn't just pick this up as a hobby at age 34—there's a kid involved here somewhere. There isn't a lullaby in the world you could sing to her that would come close to the effect of her parents finally catching her red-handed.

You should probably get your uric acid levels checked out too.
Go see an internist...
This could actually be something serious...

Alright... thanks, Richard. 🙂 (By the way, Walter Smith8—it’s acting up again... 😁)

So here I am, sitting here typing this away while my leg feels like it's sitting in a bucket of ice at sub-zero temperatures. It's not just cold; the pain is absolutely driving me insane. 🤷

Richard Morales3 said:Once you hit 30—or maybe a little later for some—your vision starts playing tricks on you... that's just how life works.

Don't go panicking on me; you aren't going blind overnight. But yeah, your eyesight is likely to decline relatively quickly over the next few years. After that, the process usually plateaus or slows down significantly.

By the way, spending endless hours hunched over a computer screen plays a massive role in making things worse.
Keep that in mind.

Again—thanks 😘

It’s honestly a disaster how much of a difference I’ve noticed lately... everything is blurry. My glasses actually get in the way when I'm trying to type on my laptop or read stuff; I can see those things more or less crystal clear...

but the second I look up, everything else is stuck in this constant, light fog.

Anyway, thanks for the "comforting" post... I was already starting to worry I'd be hunched over like a gargoyle within five years at this rate. 😁

Brilliant logic right there.

I stand by everything Ronald Allen wrote. Looking at the rest of your posts, it’s clear you’re right—you don't actually care about the filename, you just see an opening to start a fight...

And with that, I'm out. Because I have absolutely no intention of giving it to you. ☕

I don't know... I'm not an active participant in that specific PDF, but I'm assuming there are actual discussions happening there—people sharing opinions, viewpoints, and things that actually matter to a certain segment of the users here.. 🤷

If I were one of those regular posters over in the "mad house," I’d honestly want that sub-section to have a title that doesn't immediately imply we're all just talking nonsense from the get-go..

Okay, fine, I'm lying—I wouldn't give a damn what the sub-forum was called.. 😁

So, I still don't get why everyone is getting so worked up.. The content hasn't changed. The rules haven't changed. All they did was give it a more dignified name, which, frankly, hits the mark perfectly. 🙂

Just relax a little.. pick your battles. I don't see why anyone is getting this stressed over something so trivial.. 😁
What is the mad house? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Without getting bogged down in the weeds of definitions or why things changed in the first place... Why on earth do you people care so much about what some PDF is titled?!

What did you actually lose by changing a filename? Why does it trigger you this much?! 🤷

That actually makes perfect sense. I’ve been dealing with scoliosis—both lumbar and thoracic. 🤷

But for this to hit me out of nowhere?

On top of that, my knee has started giving out, and a friend even pointed out that my gait looks off—like I have a bit of a cold feet situation going on...
hollowgardener912 said:Seems like this stuff only matters in Eastern Europe. But people there are also totally obsessed with politics (that song from Georgia wasn't picked by accident, even if it sucks even by Eurovision standards) and things would turn into chaos fast. Personally, I'd find it funny, but knowing the mindset in Eastern and Southeast Europe, people might actually get hurt. Wouldn't bet against someone in Moscow wanting to beat someone up over an insult to their favorite leader... not to mention what could happen in a "rematch" in Tbilisi if that Georgian song actually does well because of the political hype.

I don't know... what you're saying makes total sense, but I still doubt a single little festival performance could trigger consequences that massive.

It's a shame we won't get to see how it plays out.
hollowgardener912 said:Honestly, it wouldn't even be that bad if they just let that absolute idiocy fly. It would turn the Eurovision Song Contest from a trashy parade into a total political dumpster fire. I wonder what the Russian "response" would be? Maybe something like "Tralala-Lalili / you Can Suck my Shvilli"... What's next, though? Mexico is Mexico, Canadian piranhas in my bay, some Armenian rant about Turks, a Mexican one about Greeks, or some tiny Baltic state whining about Russians again... Pure chaos. Might actually make me start watching this circus...

🤣

Sure... there is one fundamental truth here—back in the '70s, the Eurovision Song Contest was actually somewhat of a musical institution (they practically forced ABBA down our throats.. gee, thanks..🙄). Now? It is nothing more than a pure trash parade, a mindless little circus that only generates stars in places like our neck of the woods..

But setting that aside...

If we are going to talk about offending people or things—a few years ago, some drag queen in neon feathers was fluttering all over the stage and nobody gave a damn!

Don't get me wrong, I still don't care... but I’d much rather realize that someone (some narrow-minded ☕) was offended by that, instead of some microscopic wordplay that 80% of the audience won't even catch because they either don't speak English or they don't give a damn who Putin is or even care about him.. 🤷
Rebecca Watson said:Even if she is ugly (which is what Huljic claimed on CNN as the reason why she shouldn't have won—eat your heart out 😍), 90% of you singers could spit under her window.

By the way, Eurovision is absolute garbage. It used to be a real party, but now? Total trash.

Oh, come on, man... she is plain as day ugly. 😁 (By the way, whose daughter is she even? Some mega-famous singer from the old days? 🤔 ) ...But even so, the fact remains: she is a phenomenal vocalist.

But that's beside the point. When is Eurovision actually happening? And for those who actually follow this stuff, what's the deal with the Georgians? Did they file a complaint? Is there any chance they get let back in?

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I’m starting to get genuinely worried.. 😢

A few days ago, my left leg suddenly went cold, and now there's this nagging ache.
I'm talking about the entire limb—from my hip all the way down to my foot—especially along the outer side. Look, I’m no doctor, but my gut tells me this is a circulation issue. It feels exactly like that deep, heavy discomfort you get when a part of your body has been completely cut off from blood flow..

Plus, my muscles are acting up with this dull pain..

It isn't some life-threatening emergency yet, but it's ice cold.. and it hurts.. and no matter what I do, I can't get the warmth back. That’s what scares me. The discomfort isn't quite enough to knock me out of commission, but it's just persistent enough to keep me tossing and turning at night.. 😢

Please, if anyone has any wisdom to share, let me hear it. 😢
Umm... I'm taking a risk here by sounding naive, but has anyone actually confirmed if those performers were truly trying to take a swipe at Joe Biden?

I’ll admit it hits a nerve, and it’s most likely some half-baked attempt at a provocation, but could it honestly just be a coincidence?

Again, I'm not making claims... I'm asking questions. I haven't heard anything about this specific situation until now. 🤷

edit: oh, okay, I see now that Luka mentioned they actually "admitted" it.

And honestly—the ban is just stupid. If they had sung something like "Let's nail Joe Biden to a stake and play soccer with his head," then fine, people would get it. But this? Half of our poor, uneducated population won't even understand what they're singing, let alone catch some hidden subtext. It's a provocation, sure, but a totally harmless one.

Wait, does that one comment there earn you a warning for trolling? Did you start the whole "whining, blah blah" bit yourself? Are you implying I'm full of crap? If I talked like that, I'd get a strike instantly. Do you see that you have no idea what you're talking about?
Nobody gives a damn about whatever benefits you guys have. 🤷

Anyway, I'm done arguing with digital avatars. Bye! 😘

Wow, someone’s feeling spicy today... 🤣

And once again, I’m standing with redmarlin3. Come on, people—give me some actual evidence. Links, screenshots, anything. Prove that this specific moderator is some two-faced piece of trash who harasses everyone just for the sake of it. So far, I haven't seen a single shred of proof. Not here, and not in any of the other million "Mommy, the moderator is picking on me" threads I've seen. ☕

I’d bet anything that everyone acting all high and mighty with their moderator status is actually just a miserable loser in real life with zero depth. Can you even imagine how chaotic things would get if an Astrice were in charge? It would be like combining Bellwether and Cats into one giant mess. But hey, I don't really care if some little moderator or junior admin decides to take their real-world frustrations out on me. I'll just step away from the computer and go enjoy my day... while they're left with nothing to do but obsess over their count of warnings, bans, and the lectures they handed out on the forum today 😍

I don't even know how to start this one without feeling like I'm spiraling... it's just heavy. There's a darkness creeping in lately that feels impossible to shake, a sense of total isolation that hits you right when you think you've finally found some footing. It’s like looking into an abyss and realizing the abyss isn't just looking back—it’s inviting you in. I've been sitting here, staring at the wall, wondering if anyone else feels this weight. It's not just a bad day or a rough patch; it feels like a fundamental shift in the atmosphere, like the air itself has turned toxic. Everything feels hollow. Every connection feels fragile, like a thin thread about to snap under too much pressure... If you're feeling this way, please, reach out. Don't sit in the dark alone. Call 988 or find someone who can actually listen before things get too far gone... there's still a reason to stay, even if it's hard to see right now. says:
How on earth does Bellwether have admin privileges? She’s been registered for less than a year... she doesn't even understand how this forum actually breathes. She hasn't ever put out a single constructive post, yet here she is, playing judge and jury by making up her own rules on the fly...

This is easily one of my favorite "arguments"... 🤣

Yeah, for sure, Bellwether signed up and on that very same day, Anderlon told her, "You’re gonna be my right hand around here..." 🧐How could I not?... 😁

I don't even know where to start with this... it’s just heavy. It's one of those things that hits you out of nowhere and stays with you. I've been sitting here trying to wrap my head around it, but some things just don't have easy answers, do they? It's dark, it's messy, and honestly, it's just plain hard to talk about without feeling like everything is falling apart... The user says:
Trust me, that’s how all the moderators work. They only hand out those titles because you’ve been lurking on some PDF for a long time without racking up any major violations. They don't actually bother looking at the fact that you're constantly hanging around the chats without ever contributing a single intelligent thought... 🤷

Look, there’s a difference between hanging out in the Chat threads and actually getting down to business in the serious ones. If I had ten thousand casual posts—which, let’s be honest, I don't—I’d still have five thousand heavy-hitting, constructive ones sitting right here. I could drop hundreds of links for you if you're really that desperate to see them, but I highly doubt you actually care...
Look, I actually wrote most of those posts in the Chat myself—it just so happened that I was already stepping into the role of Moderator by then—so that little "argument" you're trying to make doesn't even hold water... 🙂

I would have signed it myself, but you already handled that. 😁

As for everything else—blah, blah, blah... it’s always the same old song and dance.

And honestly, my five years of experience on this forum tells me one thing: those very same users who scream at the top of their lungs that the mods are the embodiment of Evil are the first ones praying to be appointed as moderators. They clearly heard about the perks and benefits. 😁

What kind of drive—not to mention having way too much free time—does someone need to have to spend all their energy contemplating which moderator is the absolute worst? 😕 If you're a decent user, we shouldn't even notice you exist. But if you whine, spam, or troll? Well, then of course we’re going to be in constant contact.

No one can accuse me of having a short fuse and a sharp tongue—so how is it possible that in these five years, I haven't received a single warning or a ban? 🤷 Apparently, "moderator Evil" doesn't apply to everyone... or maybe it's just a matter of having basic self-control over what you write. Go figure. ☕
