Michelle Sanchez3 said:Well, I have been around too, through the San Francisco days, the Goa threads, and all the music discussions. I don't really write with Willard anymore; I think I eventually left him sitting at about 20,000 posts, though I lost track of how many times I hit that 20k mark myself. If they hadn't gone around deleting all those old threads and various topics, there probably would have been 40,000 posts without any trouble at all.😁

Anyway, where on earth have you been hiding? 😬

How on earth can you just "retire" Willard?! Did you even ask permission? Did you stop to think about what that would do to the mental stability of certain people on these forums?

Man, I haven't laughed this hard at a thread in ages.. 🤣

I actually have my sound turned off... well, I unplugged my speakers.. but honestly, I’m as deaf as a post anyway, so it doesn't matter if I don't turn them off to avoid hearing anything even with Dolby Surround active. It’s probably for the best.. because if I could hear this, I’d definitely be spiraling into total paranoia. 😁
Melissa Sanders33 said:I honestly can’t tell you how obsessed the moderators are with our personal info. People are losing their minds over this desperate need to get to know us. My god, the questions being asked on here...

Nobody cares about your data. Nobody is staring at it, nobody is obsessing over it, and nobody is losing sleep over it. It's obvious you have no clue what the actual traffic stats look like on a site like Reddit. Relax—you aren't some high-profile target being hunted by the FBI. The moderation team has much bigger fish to fry (like, say, tracking down the people actually responsible for the nonsense posted here) than worrying about our data, most of which is fake anyway.

Perfectly put.

I used to pull shifts over at Misfit, and honestly, they did an incredible job, but those guys ended up moving their whole operation somewhere else entirely...
Right now, I’m just weighing my options between going with Crn or maybe checking out Roby & senf
The Dragon Year landmark is right before you hit the outskirts of town when you're heading toward the suburbs 😉

From what I can tell, Washington, D.C. is easily the most expensive place to be

Honestly, I heard about Crn just yesterday... I even brought up this exact thread! I might have to swing by his place soon.

I can personally vouch for Roby—he took my old tribal piece and turned it into this massive shoulder piece, and let me tell you, he treats his equipment like absolute gold.😁

But at the end of the day, Buncek and Stela car are still the undisputed kings.👍
Could I have HIV? in Health ·
Angela Wright said:HIV is transmitted through unprotected sex, so maybe leave the statistics to the Pope 👍

Exactly. Anything else is just pure guesswork.

Do you honestly think everyone who caught HIV after two or three hookups with strangers had visible wounds? HIV lives in bodily fluids. Nobody is disputing that it’s most concentrated in blood, but semen and other fluids are just as infectious.

Luckily, we live in an area where HIV isn't nearly as rampant... so I doubt the original poster actually contracted the virus, but that doesn't make them bulletproof. It certainly doesn't mean having sex without a condom is safe just because you aren't bleeding out. 🤷

I’ve got 14 piercings in my ears—and honestly, I don’t even bother with them anymore. It’s always the same story: things get inflamed because of some random metal sensitivity. Believe it or not, I actually reacted to gold. Eventually, it settles down, but you have to be disciplined. You need to clean them with alcohol constantly and be extremely careful about how often you're taking them in and out. In my experience, you can never go wrong with surgical steel, provided you're obsessive about disinfecting everything.

Once they’ve fully healed—and that only happens if you have the patience to actually take care of them—you won't deal with any more drama.

I couldn't agree more with Jerry Martinez5... I'd also put my money on 99.9%. I’m keeping that last 0.1% in reserve just because of that little disclaimer about "the unfortunate and the lonely." Look, not every idiot is a victim of circumstance or fighting some tragic battle. Some people are just—plain and simple—idiots.😁

PREACHING TO THE CHOIR!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏

I shouldn't have to spell this out every single time... look, people struggling with mental health issues don't walk around labeling themselves as "insane" 🙂 while trying to act edgy and cool..

It’s the exact same thing here: genuinely exceptional people don't go around thinking they're special. It's the world around them that sees it that way. They don't give a damn and they just keep doing their own thing..

The second someone starts listing off how unique they are, or how "tortured" they feel, or how the whole world is basically mesmerized by their beautiful madness, I immediately lose all respect for them..

Lisa Williams said:Hey everyone! Has anyone here actually been to "Crn" tattoo shop? I’ve heard some rumors that they’re top-tier but surprisingly affordable... I’m finally ready to pull the trigger on some new ink, but honestly, the decision paralysis is real. I’ve been looking into shops like "Washington, D.C.," "Gandalf," and "Crn" over in D.C., so if anyone has some firsthand experience or a strong recommendation, please let me know! Thanks!

If you head toward the outskirts of Washington, D.C. (heading toward the market), there's Roby & senf on Tratinski street. I'd suggest them or maybe Gandalf over on Gundulićev...

I also heard about Godina zmaj (somewhere in the suburbs—not sure if they're even still open).

As for Crn, I have absolutely no clue who that is.

Organic? Please. I can't stand it. Not even the concept itself... but every single time I hear that "Are we dancer" line, I feel like a blood vessel in my brain is about to snap.

melloweagle30 said:Has anyone here had any experience with Wellbutrin XL?

Since Wellbutrin didn't quite hit the mark for me—it helped a bit, but my depressive symptoms have started creeping back up—I've finally been prescribed Wellbutrin XL. I actually had to wait about a week for the pharmacy to get it in stock, which was a bit frustrating...

I'm dealing with major depression, anxiety, and, of course, bulimia...

Any thoughts or experiences you can share?

I tried it. Took it for maybe a week or two... but honestly, I was in such a complete wreck that I couldn't even wrap my head around sticking to a therapy schedule, let alone remembering to take a pill at a specific time. Interestingly enough—they prescribed this to me as part of the treatment once the bulimia entered the equation...

So, I don't really know how it works. Just like any other psych med, this felt more like a chore than actual medicine. I ended up having to sort through the mental clutter on my own anyway...

Ugh, I swear, I hate these little pills. God, I can't wait to be done with all of this. 🙏

p.s. Good luck with the recovery. 🙂
wearyowl29 said:A friend of mine has this buddy who is constantly calling in sick to work, claiming he's dealing with major depression, yet he's out tearing up the dance floor at clubs all night long while popping Prozac... Well, I guess he really *is* on antidepressants after all! 😂

🤣 🤣 Well, obviously—it's the antidepressant kicking in. 😁
Jerry Martinez5 said:Until an expert shows up:
- If a healthy person starts on antidepressants, I guess they might hit a state of euphoria once the meds kick in after a few weeks.
- From what I know, some people take them just for anxiety without being depressed. Maybe other diagnoses too? I don't know.
- You can fake anything. If I walk into my GP's office and tell her aliens visited me and I'm planning to turn the Sahara green—while casually mentioning I'm wondering if suicide would help the cause—I'm pretty sure she'll either send me straight to a psych ward or a psychiatrist.

Even health can be faked. Plenty of people pull it off. They suffer, but they hide it from everyone else perfectly fine. 😢

Oh man... Jerry Martinez5, I almost peed myself laughing reading that! 😂 😂 😂

What about anxiety and panic disorders? Yeah, they prescribe meds for that too. I was on them myself. It happened during one of those messy gaps between two different depression diagnoses, so I definitely fit the description mentioned in the opening post. As for whether it actually worked? Honestly, I didn't feel a damn thing—except for being perpetually exhausted.

Look, Nemruth... I can't help myself. I have to ask: why on earth do you even care about this? 🤔 Is there actually someone out there who wants to waste their time playing around with Pilsners if there’s no damn reason for it? Seriously, listen to me—I’ve finally lost my mind. 🙄 Let me break this down more clearly: what I'm talking about regarding pills like Adderall... 😁

Seriously, did you just skip over the post from a few pages back? I can't recall the exact wording right now—and maybe I'm exaggerating a bit—but it was something like three 100mg doses a day, plus another four 100mg hits at night... or something along those lines.😱

edit: I can't find it right this second... Jerry Martinez5, you saw it—it was in that thread about Leponex that you linked to this one... where is it? 🤔

Tolerance, right? 😢

Whenever I was in the hospital, if they mixed red Klonopin into my other meds, I felt like I was walking on cooked hot dogs. It was pathetic. And honestly, Lepica sounds like they have it ten times worse. I have zero clue what kind of sadist prescribed hundreds of milligrams a day to that user on this forum... Sounds like pure science fiction to me.🤔

Give us some credit—some of us actually know our stuff, so seeing this kind of nonsense really sticks in our craw. It’s irritating. It triggers that specific brand of agitation you get when... I don't know... someone completely messes up the wiring in your house. ☕

Honestly? It knocked me flat on my face. I was basically face-planting onto my keyboard and drifting straight into a coma... 😁

So, does this phase actually pass? I didn't even dare to keep taking it..

And don't even get me started on the Prozac side effects.. which ones are you dealing with.. hundreds? Redness?

fadedbear92 said:I'm not cosmictinker21, but your story really hit home for me. I used to take six Xanax (0.5 mg) at a time instead of just one or two max per day, and I ended up hooked over 12 long, grueling years. That’s actually why my doctor prescribed a stronger antidepressant—even though it's an older one, Prozac is an SSRI, which significantly reduces anxiety and therefore lessens the need for Xanax. And hey, it worked for us! There are days now when I don't take a single Xanax. So, I'm crossing my fingers for you—hang in there!.👍

Man, I remember when I was on a combo of Xanax and Prozac... I actually passed out right at my desk at the office one afternoon. 🙄
