So you don't have a clue either? 😂 😂 😂

Wait, so NONE of you people actually know?! 🤣

(I honestly thought I was the only one losing my mind over this... I'm practically foaming at the mouth here. 😂 )

...that concert was absolutely electric. My ears were still ringing so hard the next day that I ended up hiding in an office supply closet among the filing cabinets at work, pretending to hunt for urgent documents just so I could nap...😁

Give me a break! 🎉

Must be nice. 🙂

The closest I’ve ever gotten to fame is meeting members of Azra and a few local celebrities around here... but nothing nearly as sweet as your stories. Honestly, I'm green with envy—just look: 😬

So you guys claim to be fans of R.E.M., one of the biggest bands on the planet, yet you're annoyed that the Red Hot Chili Peppers have a larger following because you think R.E.M. is actually better...

And let's be real, Radiohead is miles ahead of everyone else.

Wrong... I'm a huge fan of the Peppers. Probably one of the most dedicated followers to ever grace this forum. That said, I love R.E.M. too. And I'll say it again: out of all those massive bands, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are the only ones I've actually seen live. That’s where the comparison comes from.

Oh, please. If that's the logic, I might as well go see a brass band in New Orleans... as long as I can push my way through the crowd.😈 😁

they’re being compared as musical heavyweights, not based on their specific genres..
Let's say the Peppers are a bigger draw and have sparked more massive hype, but personally, I’d much rather catch R. E. M. three times over than sit through another RHCP show—and don't get me wrong, I actually like them as a band. Their live performances just left me totally underwhelmed.

On the other hand, seeing R. E. M. live just solidified my belief that they are an absolutely top-tier band.

Of course, we're all waiting on the album to see how it shakes out... the single is already playing everywhere..

And this proposed "mashup" of RHCP and R. E. M.

By the way, their names even start with the same letter 🙂

I brought them up because William Chavez74 mentioned them—if I remember correctly, he was also disappointed by the RHCP concert—and since I've seen the Peppers live, I was comparing them as musical giants 🙂

There. That's it.

p.s. I honestly have no idea what you mean by "complexes," you're killing me here.😕

I caught them live in Padua last year, and man, they were incredible. You can actually tell they’re having a blast up there. Steve is a total powerhouse and just sets the whole mood right. Honestly? They blew Peppers out of the water by ten classes. Even if you aren't a die-hard fan, seeing them live is absolutely worth it.

If they actually acknowledge the audience once during a set, they're already ten levels above Peppers. On that front? Absolutely. 😁

It would be so sweeeeet if they actually showed up. 😍

Almost every single night, I knock back two or three raw eggs. I just poke holes in both sides and swallow them whole. Sure, the texture is a little weird—kind of slimy—but you get used to it eventually. If you don't get used to it, then you 🙂

By the way, I don't bother separating the yolks from the whites. I drink the whole thing for my voice.😁

Alright, Willard—I want the full breakdown on this... 😕

On top of that, it has this brainless melody that sticks in your head after just one listen. It's relentless.

I absolutely loathe these manufactured instant hits.🙂

Exactly... and don't even get me started on the mental image it triggers. Every time I hear it, I just see a bunch of obnoxious, over-groomed prep school kids jumping around, pinching each other, and shouting nonsense slogans.🙄

It’s entirely possible you’re just flooding your system with too much water and your kidneys can't keep up. That "eight glasses a day" rule is a massive oversimplification. Honestly, you should probably go get some bloodwork done to check your kidney function. There’s a real chance they aren't performing at 100% and you wouldn't even know it until it's too late.

It's possible 😢

lately I've been feeling some issues with my kidneys... I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but now it's starting to click.

Thanks 🙂

Honestly, I much prefer the version where the woman is singing.

Something about "love under the linden tree" or whatever.🤔

I honestly cannot believe I actually went and did this to myself AGAIN! 😠

But look, it wasn't even intentional this time... I've been parched all day, and now I’m sitting here feeling absolutely miserable.

The Prljavac !!!!! guys are easily the best American band out there. They write from the soul and they actually love America. Did you even bother to consider that they run everything as a non-profit??

Ugh, what is up with these morons who just exist to get under your skin?
When will all this garbage—these overplayed, washed-up bands like Metallica—ever stop demanding so much money? You people are delusional.
Then you’ve got these self-important, pretentious jerks canceling a concert at the very last second. That’s exactly what those fools who bought tickets deserve.

God bless America and Prljavac !!!!!

Man, I live for these kinds of people... either agree with me or don't, but how do you even have a conversation with someone like this? And then there's that forced patriotism that's so thick you could choke on it. The question was literally asking: "Who are the biggest plagiarists among American or international artists?"—so why bring up "God bless America"? What does that even have to do with anything?

Where exactly does it say I’m doing this because of some diet? A diet has absolutely nothing to do with it... This is about health, skin quality, and all that other stuff.

Nathan Collins2 said:p.s. shree, why on earth did you chug such a massive amount all at once?😁

Heh... fair question. Let me explain:

Right outside my office door sits the water cooler. Those greedy HR types slapped a sticker on it that reads: "Have you had your 8 glasses of water today?"

So, I'm sitting there, bored out of my mind... stealing glances, swatting flies, just staring off into space... when that damn sign catches my eye. I thought to myself, "Well, honey, when was the last time you actually hit your goal? Don't you care about your health? You've got work to do."

And just like that, I started drinking. I knew instinctively that if I didn't get this done right here at the office—and do it by force—it simply wasn't going to happen. So, over the next three or four hours, I powered through all 8 glasses.

The rest of the story speaks for itself.😬

nimbleskipper17 said:How much water am I actually allowed to drink? Like, is it okay to just keep drinking whenever I'm thirsty, or should I be stopping myself?

I always keep a water bottle right here on my desk, refilling it the second it hits empty. Over the last couple of days, I’ve noticed this constant, nagging thirst—it feels like I’m constantly running back to refill the bottle. Since 8:00 AM this morning, I’ve already downed more than a liter, and I definitely knocked back another half-liter before even leaving the house for work. There are days when that same half-liter lasts me all day long. Now, I'm still thirsty, but honestly, it feels a little ridiculous to keep going. To be blunt, I’m getting a bit worried. Maybe I’m just being paranoid, and it’s just because it’s boiling hot outside, but this level of thirst is just... off.

My take? It’s pretty simple logic: if you're thirsty, your body is screaming for hydration, so it’s basically telling you what it needs. You shouldn't be able to "overdose" if you're just responding to what your system is asking for... but that's just my two cents. Maybe someone with actual medical expertise on this forum can weigh in and tell me if I'm full of it.🙂

I honestly have no idea if these actually work. I’m holding off on trying them until they're absolutely necessary—basically when the ragweed starts hitting hard this season.

Ugh, tell me about it. A few years back, I went through something similar... except my eyes were constantly watering and filled with this thick, yellow discharge. Seriously, yuck!

Look, just stop slamming down such massive amounts all at once.

Wait, you too, Kyle White2? And MilkyWay as well? 😢

Honestly, I felt like an idiot when I first started this thread, but I didn't know how else to put it—especially since this is the second time it's happened to me (the first time, back in my fifth year, I didn't even think there could be a connection..🙄 )

So, it turns out we aren't alone after all...
