Sex is fine, but my OBGYN says no?! in Women's Health ·
Betty Bailey66 said:my gynecologist is actually a family friend. which is just great when you're lying there on the exam table and he's like, "so, how's your mom doing?"—super awkward. the guy is awesome, though, even if his sister is always such a grouch. meanwhile, the other girl is constantly finding some random cancer or fungal thing or who knows what else—even when your pH is perfectly fine, she’ll hit you with all those crazy vaginal treatments and basically wipe out everything living down there (good or bad), including any actual cancer. her and her sister? total Batman and Robin vibes.

😲 oh god...🙄 I could never deal with that.☕

Wait, hold up—he's a family friend of your mom too?! 🤷
And he's friends with your dad as well?🙏 😂 😂 😂

I’m cutting ties with someone like that completely—I'm done being cast as the villain in everyone else's drama.☕ I actually felt bad about it, but what can you do? I'm not Mother Teresa... plus, I'm just not interested in putting up with his constant ego trips and insults.🙄

I’ve got one right in my life—been dealing with this since he turned 34.🙄🙄 🙏

It's a straight-up sickness.☕
Nothing ever changes. He’ll be exactly like this for the rest of his life.

And now there’s zero chance in hell I’m ever using that piece of junk tablet again.👎

Look, if they’re dodging the doctor entirely, I get it—but skipping out on their OB-GYN? That makes zero sense to me.🙂
Aches and pains everywhere... in Health ·

So, for a few years now—maybe three times a year or so—I get this sharp, stabbing sensation right in my chest area. It's on my right side, roughly where my heart would be, and out of nowhere, it just starts poking at me. I have to stay completely still and calm until it passes, but honestly, I can't tell if it's actually my heart or just some muscle strain in my chest. It hurts, but it's manageable; the thing is, if I try to take a deep breath while it's happening, the stinging gets way worse, and the same goes for if I try to lift my left arm. This happens maybe 3 or 4 times a year, and each episode lasts anywhere from one to three minutes, but I'm just stuck wondering if it's muscular or cardiac... I really need to ask my doctor about it, but has anyone else dealt with anything similar?🙂

So, is your heart on the right side or what?🤷

But look, let’s clear things up first: homophobia doesn't pose a direct threat to me. Even though I'm bisexual, I'm currently in a relationship with a man—and since I don't explicitly broadcast my sexual orientation to him, there's zero reason for him to assume I'm anything other than a good, traditional American woman. But here's where I stand:

Okay, you (not you specifically, but just some hypothetical person) are homophobic. That means you harbor hatred toward gay people. As long as you don't act on it or express it, that's your right.
I hate you (acting as the personification of the homophobe here). That's fine too, provided I don't act on it.

However, if you start discriminating against gay people—in any capacity whatsoever—then I will feel compelled to discriminate against you. Isn't that just basic fairness? 😁

And again, I’m not talking about YOU as a person on this forum—I mean your actual identity, name and all. I'm talking about the homophobe.

I'm with you on that.👍
Honestly, going to some guy for this would be such a massive blow to my ego...🙄🙄🙄
I'm just not built for that. It’s not really a man’s job—it’s more of a woman’s domain, and honestly, women should be the ones handling it.☕

They don't need to be getting their hands dirty with this stuff anyway.🙂
