Is this it? I honestly thought the point was to have an actual conversation—you know, just exchanging ideas and experiences. But apparently not. It's more like: "He thinks differently! Get him! Actually, just kick him out! Get lost!" And then there’s the moderator insults: "I see you lack the mental capacity" (which seems to be their favorite line) and that arrogant assumption that they're somehow superior to everyone else. 🤣🤣🤣 🙂
Go ahead and mess around if you want. I probably wouldn't be this annoyed if they hadn't overstepped every single boundary... but there's a limit, I guess.
Exactly. I can't seem to get a straight answer to any of my questions. The moderator, smart, just swooped back in to cherry-pick page 51 while "accidentally" ignoring page 50, just to dig at me a bit more. I’m not an idiot. I don't understand why they won't just admit they messed up. What I posted here is just a small snippet—barely scratching the surface. There's way too much insults, lying, and pure malice for me to just let it slide. I don't see why I should overlook a mountain of issues that probably warrant a suspension or even a permanent ban. A lot of posts have definitely been wiped. When you realize how many of their own posts were deleted, it shows you just how much was going on. It feels like they're just venting because I'm not part of their inner circle. If this keeps up, the whole site will lose its purpose. Anyway, we still haven't heard anything: Where do I file a formal complaint against a moderator? 😁
Since I'm already here, let me clarify the last bit of this That "innocent" comment from Ashman you quoted. My post right before hers was just "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! everything is aggressive blah blah."
Could you please tell me what exactly about my post was "aggressive blah blah"? And I didn't feel "called out," I actually was called out. She targeted me directly by quoting my own words. As for her insults about me lacking the mental capacity for complex thought while she supposedly possesses it... I won't even bother commenting. Not to mention how she uses whatever intellect she actually has. And as for jumping straight to accusations of aggression and "defending an opinion," she and all her little supporters said it all. Besides, looking at her other posts, it's always "let's not fight." Right after she attacks someone and starts the argument herself...
I guess we could try counting all the personal attacks and insults thrown around here—if anyone even keeps track of that anymore. But honestly, who cares... 👎 It’s pretty obvious. My posts get hit with nothing but aggression, while they act like they're being perfectly sweet and innocent. 🙄 This is just the part directed at me. It seems like anyone who dared to have an opinion different from "theirs" had to deal with this exact same treatment. Even nursing mothers were targeted, just because they were told to calm down and start attacking people for no reason. If you look at the threads involving stefy, manch, chloe, katarinaos... you'll see it. And believe me, there were plenty of "leave me alone" comments too. It's like they have some sort of pact: "The moment someone speaks up against breastfeeding in public, we all gang up and drive them away." I'm not being paranoid; it really is that intense. They attack so aggressively. You can't even voice a dissenting opinion without getting shut down. Is this really how things are supposed to work on a discussion board? 😕 It's almost as if the whole family gathered on one PDF to aggressively push their own agenda under the guise of a debate. Look, this is Reddit, where people are meant to discuss things. The family can go find their own private forum. ☕
No, all five. I don't really get worked up about it. It just bothers me when someone is asked why they dislike something, or why they find it offensive, or why they feel threatened by it, and they just respond with, "I don't know, I just hate it, it's gross, that's just my opinion, I have a right to it"... blah blah blah. Just tell me WHY, for heaven's sake.
People constantly hide behind this supposed "right" to an opinion, but whether that opinion actually comes from any real thought... I guess that’s rarely the case. It’s just people tossing around empty cliches and judging anything that doesn't fit their narrow little rules.
My apologies, this is getting off topic... Ashman.
How does one even answer questions like that? How do you respond to "why do you feel that way?" To me, a question that stupid doesn't even deserve an actual response. Why are you trying to police everyone? I guess you think you're in charge, but who exactly are you to demand an apology from anyone? Maybe I just feel like having a right to say when something bothers me. Alex Barnes8
Is it really that hard to watch a mother feed her child? I guess you feel the need to broadcast that to everyone. Maybe just keep those kinds of insights for a private session at a therapist's office instead. Precious x
Look, let's just be logical here. I guess it's hard to see what anyone would actually find problematic about this. What kids eat these days? It's madness, I guess. A few square centimeters of cleavage? Please. That’s just asking for trouble. Everywhere you look—billboards, newsstands, TV, even just walking down the street or hitting a beach club—it’s all much more explicit than that. Most people are showing way more than a tiny bit of skin these days. A combination? Also, don't be an idiot. It’s just a perfectly natural mechanism and action that breasts were made for, regardless of what anyone thinks they exist for. Precious x
Maybe try getting some education, therapy, or just some actual life experience. Precious x
I guess you might need to apply for a permit here. Maybe. I don't post much here, but certain headlines catch my eye. That whole "public breastfeeding" debate was everywhere in the news. And like I said before, that "public" includes all of us. So if people here are trying to convince me that I have some moral obligation to look away or squint while walking down the street, then I guess this topic does actually concern me, just like everyone else. As for the whole pet situation, just go for it. I like dogs, and I’ve seen people talk about this stuff before. I think there were threads on Reddit and some old online forums too, but honestly, it was mostly just a bunch of negativity. I haven't insulted anyone here, so you don't get to come at me either. If you want to play psychologist, go find someone else to lecture.
I don't know how to put this... It doesn't bother me seeing it happen in passing. I don't think it looks bad or anything. It’s just this strange sensation that comes from a woman sitting right there at the table, talking to me. Not because it’s repulsive or whatever, but it just feels... too intimate. I guess I can't explain it any better, but I'm sure others who aren't used to it feel the same way. It isn't about being "anti-breastfeeding" or "not understanding that a baby needs to eat." It's just that they aren't accustomed to it. That's why I insisted on the fact that this is all pretty new to us. Alex Barnes8
She seems to have some intimacy issues, Precious x.
You just don't get it... I don't care if nothing is visible. I have no issue with seeing a nipple or an entire breast; I don't view that as immoral. It doesn't change my point that since it's natural, it could happen anywhere. I guess it's hard to define what exactly is unnatural and therefore requires privacy at home. I don't have any particular thoughts or feelings about nipples, either. The act itself feels too intimate. Almost too much to even be present for, I guess.
If you aren't bothered by seeing a nipple or an entire breast—since you claim you have no issues with it—then I guess I have to ask: what exactly counts as "too intimate"? Is it just the fact that a baby is eating? It’s a natural process for such a little one. I don't see how someone watching a child eat could possibly find that intimate.
This is a perfect example of someone blindly defending a position without offering a single shred of actual logic—stuff that could be dismantled in ten seconds. I guess.
Keep going, please. This is actually pretty entertaining. Ashman
Why am I even bothering to tell breastfeeding moms this? I guess it’s just because I’ve seen how aggressively you all attack anyone who happens to be on the "other side" here. I tried explaining the reasoning behind it. What I said about myself applies to plenty of others, too. But no, you all seem determined to just be negative toward those people. Like I mentioned, I saw a segment on TV about this, and since there was so much coverage in the news lately, I figured I’d share my perspective. Why not? I didn't expect to get attacked like this. Am I supposed to pretend I don't have the right to say when something bothers me? Alex Barnes8
I don't know why you're being so aggressive and worked up.
If something like breastfeeding disturbs you, maybe you aren't quite seeing the bigger picture. A mother who decides to nurse her child on a park bench or at a restaurant table probably has a good reason to FEED her baby. That reason might just be hunger, I guess.
Very young children don't really grasp it when you tell them they have to wait another thirty minutes until they get home to eat. They get restless, they start crying, and there's no point in making it harder. If moving a few inches of clothing to feed a hungry child for a couple of minutes stops an unpleasant situation, then that's what happens. Toddlers don't understand discipline or waiting.
I don't see why I should have some major life issue just because I feel uncomfortable with what I just described.
I'm not trying to psychoanalyze you, but I honestly think the shock you felt from seeing a woman nursing—which you emphasized in your earlier posts—might stem from some strange circumstances in how you were raised.
Or maybe you just exaggerated the whole "shock" thing to make a point because you lacked better arguments.
Just a reminder: you're participating in a discussion on Reddit. So, acting like "who am I to correct you?" or "who are you to lecture me?" is pretty ridiculous, honestly.
Why?
Because this is a Reddit thread that you chose to join to share your reasons and opinions. You're protesting the very thing you decided to participate in. Ashman
EXCUSE ME?! Do you even see the difference between asking a question and lecturing someone? Between expressing an opinion and forcing one on others? You were the one who attacked me first, just because of how I feel. Sorry, but I don't know any communication more aggressive than that. And why should I spend my whole day overthinking why something bothers me? As if being bothered means I'm crazy. Or like I need to run to a psychiatrist immediately to fix it so I can live a blissful life where nothing ever bugs me. You say when people ask why something bothers them, they just answer, "I don't know, it just does." And you're surprised by that? I guess that surprise is actually kind of stupid. I don't know what answers you're expecting. Are we all supposed to rush to a therapist and submit a report to you?! It seems, again, you're getting aggressive. And I think you need to be reminded that this is Reddit, a place for discussion. I was just expressing my opinion and feelings, but you attacked me with "by what right?" Alex Barnes8
Quote: Alex Barnes8 says: EXCUSE ME?! ..... and then all that aggressive stuff... Honey, maybe just calm down for a second. I wasn't the first one to address you or attack you. You felt called out and reacted to my post. You don't ever have to overthink anything. Maybe you just don't have the capacity for nuanced thought right now, since you're aggressively pushing your view through sheer idealism. It seems you have the capacity for attacks and aggression, which usually goes hand-in-hand with a lack of reflection. You're likely young, so I get it. Try to calm down and reread the posts in this thread.
I have nothing against you, so let's not fight. Ashman
Then why is there even a topic open for discussion regarding public breastfeeding? They should just close it so nobody is allowed to have an opinion. Come on, you're overreacting. Is anyone actually out there attacking a breastfeeding mother just for doing that? Or making threats or anything like that... And what, now a person isn't even allowed to feel uncomfortable? Seriously. If someone said they didn't care, I guess someone else would just jump in to tell them they aren't even allowed to be indifferent, Manch __________________
One more thing: before I showed up, there were other women on this subreddit attacking them, and then suddenly everyone lumped me in with them too. Now, they just go after anyone who thinks—or even feels—differently. Is that really what a forum is supposed to be? Is this actually a discussion? I don't think so. It all started when Sanja began her attacks and kept calling me out just because I actually feel things for real. That was the response to my polite explanation, believe me.
No, just look at her response in that post. And why do you think I said what I said? If it’s true, why shouldn't I call her out for being corrupt, rude, and twisting everything? I mean, isn't that how you say it? 🤷 I'm telling you, if you look at our posts, you'll see who was actually attacking whom. It wasn't just her, either. Kayla3, for instance, claimed I was "insulting everyone." Please, just try finding one single post where I insulted anyone before then. As for my "polite" communication style... maybe go back and read my earliest posts and learn something. But no, the worst part is that I was just telling the truth. 🙄 Look, it's not about the card; I don't even care about that. It wouldn't have even bothered me if it were a fair 1-on-1 fight. This was just a group effort—constant lies and a coordinated attack on me. All with the moderator's support, of course. Honestly, they sound like a cult. 😲
Interesting, isn't it? On Reddit, apparently everything is fair game except calling someone out for being a psychopath. It’s funny how they won't penalize someone for acting like a total psycho, but the second you use that word to describe them, you're the problem. Even when it's the only accurate, decent way to label such behavior—and maybe the only way to actually stop it. But I guess it doesn't matter. The moderator kept the posts claiming I was "being abusive" or "playing judge," while scrubbing my actual replies where I politely proved otherwise. She also wiped the posts where I straight-up asked her to handle the group harassment. So, after this coordinated, dishonest (completely baseless)) attack on me, the narrative is just that I'm the aggressor and they're the victims. 🙄👎 Hard not to be frustrated, I suppose. 😠
Linda Davis2 said:I wasn't referring to Benjamin Nelson8... no offense intended, Benjamin Nelson8. But Nicole—look, if you have a problem with something, you really ought to just say what it is directly, rather than talking in these vague riddles.
Well, whenever I try to be direct, I just end up getting banned! I’d suggest checking the thread yourself, but the moderator wiped everything that would make her or "her people" look bad. And the experts? They're just twisting things. It's easy when they all gang up on you.👎 Not to mention all the insults and lies.
Benjamin Nelson8 said:And you’re back at it again, seeing things that aren't even there, while the mods just sit there acting like complete idiots 🙄
No, I’m not hallucinating. You all kept accusing and attacking me—I don't even know how many times I've had to say this—so maybe you're actually the ones having some kind of collective hallucination.🙄 Look, I truly believe—and I know I’m right, just like everyone else who read that thread back then—so now I'm just wondering if there's anyone actually more enlightened than you. I honestly don't have the energy to keep repeating myself.
Obviously.🙄 Now she’s just playing dumb, persistently. And I won't even get into how Smart handles locking threads, acting all "sweetie, you'd better just stay quiet."🙄
So, are all those other points I raised in my last post actually being ignored, or what? 🙄 And no, having the posts hidden from view but still accessible to moderators isn't enough for me. I want them visible to everyone who visits this thread. I haven't done anything wrong. I don't need you deleting my posts, whether you call it a favor or a penalty. I just want people to see how you and your little favorites—Ašatan, Kayla3, Aruena, and Prec—actually behave. They've been obsessively targeting me (just look at what Katarineos said; she’s a mother herself, so she saw the bias and called it out, and she isn't the only one), yet somehow, you're the one handing me a strike! 😕👎👎👎 I guess I'm just not going to sit here and accept this unfairness just because I don't have a squad of mothers backing me up.
I’m also wondering about the question in the title. I honestly have no idea what the point of this PŽK PDF even is.🙄 The moderators are just playing dumb, protecting their own, and calling it a day. If that's the case, they should just delete it. Stop pretending. For instance, I reported a blatant injustice to RiD. Benjamin Nelson8 played dumb for a few days, giving me answers that weren't really answers at all—she mostly just ignored my questions. Then, just now, Smart stepped in and locked the thread. So, first there's the ignoring, then the silencing.👎 What is even the point of this subforum then?!😕 That's why I'm asking: is there any way to actually report a moderator to someone else?
You mentioned deleting posts from people who agree with you. Did you just ban them instead? You claimed you deleted some of my posts—I’m curious, which ones were you looking at? They’re attacking me, and you’re busy deciding which of my comments need to vanish. 👎 You said you removed all the posts where they insulted me. You didn't. Because an insult isn't just saying: "You're a psychopath." 🙄 If you actually read more closely, I only said that to her after being harassed, attacked, taken out of context, and LIED to (which I see you don't penalize), and you jumped on me immediately for that. And please, don't act like that word is some shocking taboo that shouldn't even be uttered, otherwise this site would look like nothing. Everyone reading this knows how it works. Besides, what do I actually gain from you deleting those posts where they were insulting me? You basically wiped the evidence of what I'm talking about just so you can keep playing dumb. Honestly, you might as well have left them up so everyone could see what really happened. One more thing: Go back and look at the posts from Kayla3 and Ašatan and count how many actual arguments they offered. Of course, they did it while constantly discrediting everything I said by insisting I'm arguing without substance. Yet if anyone actually provided arguments or explanations, it was me. Just look at how I've been treated for it. And don't start with the "Where are they calling you stupid?" nonsense; we aren't in kindergarten. 🙄 If anyone here deserves a ban, it's Kayla3 and Ašatan.
I don't even know where to start. There was an absolute bloodbath on the thread about breastfeeding in public. I wouldn't even care if the moderator hadn't been so biased and unfair. Just because we don't see eye to eye, she let people insult me day after day. And then, after all that, I'm the one who gets banned. 😲 She picked out one single post of mine to attack, while ignoring a massive amount of their own posts—which were way worse. When I asked her for an explanation, she just claimed that she wasn't even on the forum yesterday. That isn't really an answer, though, since the harassment started long before that, back when she was present and just chose not to act. The kicker is that they deleted two posts from another user that didn't even contain insults. Apparently, it's enough to get censored just for having a different opinion than the moderator and her little clique.
Look, isn't running away from someone just because of their DNA a bit much? I mean, we all carry various baggage in our genes, so maybe this approach of yours leans a little toward discrimination. I don't have any close friends dealing with schizophrenia or anything, but I know enough people who have it in their families to know I've never once looked at them and thought, "there goes a future patient."🤷
I already made my stance clear, but honestly, what strikes me as excessive here is the idea that silentpilot6 wouldn't date someone perfectly healthy if she had schizophrenia in her DNA.🙄 I mean, who actually knows what we’re all carrying in our genes? We all have something; there's probably some mental health issue lurking in most of us. No one here has a perfectly untouchable psyche that's just guaranteed to never crack. What I find even less appealing is the fact that silentpilot6 comes from a family of psychiatrists. You'd think they, of all people, would see more than just a diagnosis—that they might actually offer some positivity or acceptance. To me, his line of reasoning feels pretty superficial: "She's got schizo in her blood, run!" I don't want to judge his father's professional competence, but it seems like there was a lot of negativity and condescension toward mental illness in that household.👎 It’s just a shame for the people who rely on those professionals as their sole support system.
cosmictinker21 said:Unfortunately, some things just have to be managed rather than cured. It happens out of nowhere, regardless of how careful you are. You just have to be prepared for that reality. As far as I know, modern medicine hasn't quite reached the point where it can completely wipe out a condition like SCH...🤷
Yeah, I heard about this young woman dealing with schizophrenia too. She’s a relative of some neighbors in my area, though they live in a different state. They used to visit her, she’d visit them—she was smart, kind, everything seemed totally fine. Then, out of the blue, we hear she attempted suicide. They barely saved her. And apparently, it's happened a few times now. You never really know. Everything looks normal for years and then, suddenly... I can't imagine what her family is going through. She still lives with her parents, never married, no kids. Imagine if she actually had children.
Gary Patel said:It really depends on the specific situation—I mean, I think people tend to blow things way out of proportion when we talk about mental health issues. If we're looking at a condition that isn't harmful to anyone else or doesn't significantly impact the individual's daily life—then why not? Let them be.
I guess I agree. You can't just lump all mental illnesses into one category. People panic the second they hear the term because of ignorance, maybe even romanticizing it too much. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be around someone if they're violent, dangerous, or just impossible to deal with. Especially if they're selfish or reckless—which happens often, since illness isn't an excuse for everything—and refuse to take meds or go to therapy because they don't care about anyone else. In those cases, I'd pass. I haven't read everything, but it seems like those advocating for total acceptance lack actual experience; they probably view it through this idealized lens of human rights. But you can't talk about it without looking at the whole picture—how the family lives, the constant struggle, the stress on the kids, and all that. Some real-life stories I've heard were honestly horrifying, and I’d choose "no" every time. It's easy to be politically correct.
