Could someone please clarify what they actually mean by follicular, ovulatory, and luteal phases when looking at blood work results?

I had my blood drawn while I was on my period, so I have absolutely no clue which phase I currently fall into (I’m assuming it isn't the ovulatory one).
Thanks
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Perhaps someone could send me a private message regarding which doctor we are discussing and where her clinic is located? I would appreciate the specifics.

Richard Moore53, I am truly sorry to hear about your father.
driftingbison4, thank you. We will look into things over in Canada.

Pregnancy, you say???? Honestly, you ought to undergo a full battery of blood work just to see what's actually going on inside there.
Personally, I occasionally feel quite lightheaded—it's usually due to low blood pressure, I suspect—so I make sure to drink plenty of water, which tends to help me out.
Best of luck.😘

Does anyone happen to know where one might find a more reasonable price on Xelod 500 mg tablets? I am looking for something a bit more budget-friendly, if such a thing exists.
It seems we have a bit of a situation here. Around here... $833 I need 120 Xeloda tablets. This is for a colleague of mine who is currently battling colon cancer.
Is it any cheaper over in Switzerland?

Frank Hughes56, did you go ahead and have both the ovaries and the fallopian tubes removed?
Honestly, I wouldn't bother seeing an endocrinologist over there; I’d just stick to getting my blood work done.

Where is the best place to go for bloodwork: specifically looking at sexual hormones and thyroid levels?!
Should I head to Vinogradski or Rebro? And is this something you can just walk in for with a referral, or do I need to book an appointment in advance?

It’s all very easy for you people to laugh at me over a single little typo 😛
Anyway, regarding this specialist, the treatment plan is $17 and requires two sessions per week.

Does this actually work? I’d love to hear about your experiences.
I've been hearing some pretty glowing recommendations regarding a doctor out in Suburban Chicago—apparently, her results are top-tier.

Well, you can find Maxi Poker over in Illinois, though their prices are frankly extortionate.
To be honest, I fall into that XXXL category myself, so I'm pretty limited. In Chicago, the only place I can actually pick up trousers is at that one specialty shop out in the suburbs, but for anything else? I'm either heading over to Germany or just flipping through a Neckermann catalog.😳
Is it a pinched nerve or something else? in Health ·
Hey there. I’m feeling slightly better, I suppose, though it’s still pretty miserable whenever I take a deep breath or try to yawn—I get this sharp pain right under my ribs and through to my back. It hurts when I walk, too, though I can manage it if I have to.
I took some Voltaren Retard last night, which helped ease things a little. Honestly, the worst part is the scheduling; my doctor works the morning shift at the clinic, but my shift doesn't let out until 3 PM. Typical.
Aside from that, I actually stay fairly active. I hit the elliptical for about 40 minutes four times a week, and I make sure to walk for 15 minutes every single day on my way home from work.

Good morning...
So, about an hour ago, out of nowhere, I was hit with this absolutely horrific pain—it started right by my kidney area and shot straight through to my midsection. It actually knocked the wind out of me for about ten seconds. Honestly? I panicked. I genuinely thought maybe it was a heart attack... which, okay, I know isn't logically connected, but I have this irrational dread regarding those kinds of health issues. Anyway, once I finally caught my breath, the pain settled in that kidney region and now it’s radiating toward the middle of my back. It hurts terribly whenever I try to take a deep breath. Even my chest feels tight when I inhale deeply.
I took a Voltaren Retard about 20 minutes ago, but so far, nothing. No relief whatsoever. I’m desperately hoping it’s just some pinched nerve that will settle down soon. Thank goodness I work at a computer all day, otherwise the walking would be unbearable right now.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?? Is it my spine or something else altogether??? I am looking for some sort of comfort here.😍

Dealing with dizziness? in Health ·
I haven't had my blood work checked in eight months, and frankly, I'm concerned. My lipid levels are up—specifically my triglycerides, which are through the roof. I've been taking some omega capsules from Johnson & Johnson to try and manage it.
I reached out to my doctor, and she suggested that if things don't improve, I should either head straight to the ER or wait until Monday to see her in the office.
Just wonderful... absolutely wonderful.
Dealing with dizziness? in Health ·
I could really use some advice here.
For the last five days, I’ve been dealing with these constant bouts of dizziness. There isn't any actual pain, per se, but my head just feels... off. Everything is spinning. My diet hasn't changed, and I'm staying hydrated—drinking about two liters of water a day and sticking to just one cup of coffee.
My iron levels are fine, and back when I had bloodwork done about eight months ago, my blood sugar was hovering right on the edge of the normal range.
The only real issue I have is that I'm carrying some extra weight.
What else could this possibly be?? People keep telling me it's just the weather changing, but honestly, the spinning doesn't stop; it happens all day long, even when I'm lying down flat. I have an appointment scheduled with my doctor this coming Monday, but in the meantime, does anyone have any insight into what might be causing this?
thanks

I went to see Dr. Grujić last time. You really need to book your appointment several days in advance, but I paid for my blood work and ultrasound $183 about a year ago. It’s not bad.
