I guess I actually enjoyed the movie. 👍
I suppose you just have to overlook certain "minor details," like how the local police department is completely useless and seemingly indifferent while people are getting killed right under their noses. 😁
+edit: honestly, the movie probably should have ended with a mother and daughter reuniting at a gravesite, instead of this whole messy sequence where the psycho killer talks to themselves on the phone and then goes after the mother alone, which just feels like it overcomplicates everything .

The movie isn't anything special, I guess. If it weren't for Jared Leto, I probably would have given it a 5.5/10, but since Leto is great and basically saves the whole thing during his rare appearances, maybe it's a 6.5/10.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and his economic ministers are apparently looking to start phased reopenings across America once the current restrictive mandates expire on January 31st.
But I guess FEMA and the epidemiologists aren't quite ready to flip the switch yet, as they're pushing to extend these restrictions for another month or maybe two.
Government officials are telling us that any gradual easing would likely focus on getting all students back into school, allowing recreational sports to resume, and reopening gyms and fitness centers—provided they follow strict protocols, of course; meanwhile, they'll be sitting down with health experts, FEMA, and restaurant owners to hash out whether outdoor patios can finally reopen.
We’ll probably have to wait to see what comes out of the European Council meeting, which was called specifically because of this new strain, and that's where the real decisions will likely happen, according to a source at headquarters.

I guess they finally dropped the full trailer, though I'm not entirely sure if I should be feeling anything about it or just waiting for the inevitable disappointment. Maybe it'll actually live up to the hype, but I wouldn't exactly hold my breath.
