Where should Jews live? in World ·
Robin Hernandez4 said:The thing is, you can't talk about "returning to ancestral lands" when you were never actually kicked out of them like Jews were. You can't make that argument when we Americans already have our own country—one that was established after taking it from the Avars (and I mention that because people love to accuse Jews of "taking" things). Unlike Jews, who had no sovereign state until Israel was founded, there hasn't been an organized attempt to wipe us out. It's pretty obvious why helping the Jewish people establish a state, ideally on the land their ancestors were driven from, was seen as a necessity after what happened during WW2.

The Ottoman conquests in Canada...😉

Who actually drove whom out there? And who was responsible for the ethnic cleansing?

dustyotter11 said:But wouldn't that require a massive amount of protein, and probably some specific supplements?

Exactly.
Protein provides 4 calories per gram. Just like carbohydrates. Interesting, isn't it?
The thing is, hitting high carb numbers is much easier than hitting high protein targets.

Protein alone doesn't make you gain weight. It's the caloric surplus that does the work—which, by the way, can easily happen if you're bumping up your protein intake too much.

Robin Hernandez4 said:The Jewish people have returned to their ancestral homes, and no matter what anyone wants or dreams, they aren't going anywhere—they're staying put until the end of time itself. As for those few antisemites running their mouths and dreaming up nonsense? Honestly, you can just tell them to go jump in a lake.

If I were to write that Americans need to return to their ancestral lands—even if it meant war—people would immediately label me a fascist or a traitor.

But when Jews DO THIS (and we all know how the early days of Israel actually looked), suddenly everyone is supportive. It makes me wonder: would those same people support our claims to territory like the Mississippi Delta or the Midwest?

It makes zero sense that Buton was allowed to pull out on green just before 😉 Kubica came through, while both he and Kimi were stuck on red. Why would that happen? 🤷

The FIA definitely deserves a penalty for such inconsistent signaling.☕

You're absolutely right🤣

The kinetic energy of a body is inversely proportional to velocity🙏

Sebastian Vettel 🙏🙏🙏

That was pure Bourdais style.☕

neonharbor18 said:Exactly. He would have cleared them regardless. It's just the truth.

Did you see that? He passed her without Lewis Hamilton even making contact. Seriously?

He was inching toward the line at a snail's pace. He was only a few dozen centimeters away when Lewis Hamilton tagged him from behind. If you consider that an F1 car traveling at 200 km/h needs roughly 35 meters to brake, and we’re looking at a speed about twenty times slower than that... wouldn't Kimi Räikkönen have managed to stop before the line?

If Lewis Hamilton had decided to pull up or just steer clear of Kimi Räikkönen, he would have done it. You can count on that.😉.

Good grief, Massa... that guy.🤣Can he really pull off a sharp maneuver at over 150 mph to dodge the leader on the home stretch? Meanwhile, the runner-up can't even sidestep another car at 40 mph. Is there actually any room left on the track? It seems like there's plenty of space out there if you know how to take it.

neonharbor18 said:Robert Kubica had already come to a halt, while Kimi Räikkönen was still braking during that split second of contact. And you honestly think he could have stopped the car in that microsecond without crossing the line? I find it hard to believe he could have timed a stop perfectly without stepping over it.☕

So, what’s the takeaway here?

Did Kimi cross the line?No way!...until Lujis gave him that shove.
Does Kimi being that close to the finish line somehow clear Lewis Hamilton? Not a chance!

Both drivers will start the next race—the French Grand Prix at Magny Cours in two weeks—ten spots lower than where they qualify.

lonebison19 said:Hakkinen was a two-time champion with a questionable vocabulary, sure, but his raw driving talent was undeniable. (Maybe you just can't accept that because he was a McLaren driver, right?)

He didn't achieve anything in F1 until he landed the fastest car on the grid.

lonebison19 said:Montoya was the only one in that era who provided real entertainment through pure aggression and sheer "stupidity." And look at what he did to Schumi while driving a BMW that was 2 or 3 tenths slower...

Montoya was great as a clown, but nothing more.
As for that supposedly weaker BMW? I wouldn't go that far. Back then, the BMW had incredible power, even if it was concentrated in a very narrow RPM range.
On tracks that suited them, it worked beautifully. On any other track? They were just supporting actors.

lonebison19 said:Hamilton: He lost the championship by a single point in his debut season, yet by the time they hit China, the title was basically his. He drives like he's on rails, even in a car that wasn't exactly the quickest on the grid.

I'll give you this: Hamilton's first F1 season was stellar—nearly perfect, actually, considering how close he came to winning it all. But judging an entire career based solely on one season seems a bit rushed, don't you think?

lonebison19 said:Alonso: By claiming he isn't good, you've disappointed me. I don't think we even need to discuss Alonso and his driving during the Schumacher era!

Regarding Alonso, I'll offer a very casual, homey take->🤮

Sure, you could offer a congrats, but honestly, credit should go to several others and just a lucky string of circumstances.

Just let it go. After all, he's our darkmarlin16.😉
